Indeed, the abbey surreptitiously shifted itself around, making Ezra walk in a big circle, and come out in the library again.

It would have been quicker to simply just take a body and make it his. Of course the advantage of maving a new body completely from scratch was that it would last longer, since any body Durthill would have taken in the first place would have lived at least eighteen years already. "This would be less aggravating if I still had that scroll..." He muttered. He was referring to the scroll which had nearly destroyed the castle he had been. It would have removed this temple at least enough to allow him to fly out. As it was, the vampire just leaned against the wall and began plotting a way to get out of the place. ...that is all
