Jenannen I just got the call. Mom's out of surgery, but not awake yet. I guess they're going to keep her overnight. Something about her bleeding more than she should. That's rarely a good thing. x_o I hope everything turns out all right.

It did. They had her in and out in about half the time they said they would, even. I'll have to take care of her for several days, though, since she'll need a lot of help moving around the house and she can't bend or stretch to reach things - the surgery was pretty invasive.

My mother didn't want me to wear makeup or date until I finished high school. In looking back, I gotta say...I really should have conformed to her wishes. ^^;
*prays for the speedy recoveries of Lucca's and Jen's moms*
And congrats to all the aunties. ^^ How fun!

Sunny: Thanks & Congrats.
Lucca: That's good. I guess some of my siblings that are still home are going to be helping take care of my mom. The most help I can be is keeping the girls away for a few days. They're a lot of energy and I'm worried they might jump on her or something. ^^;
Vin: Yup, my sister just went to vegas. My other sister and one of my two brothers went, but that was it. You're welcome and thanks. heart
Meri: Thanks.
As far as Mom goes, she got to leave the hospital a bit after noon today. She sounded better on the phone today then she did when I saw her yesterday. The doctor told her that the surgery went well and she needs to set up a follow-up appointment in about two weeks I think she said.
And I have a new D&D character I started playing last weekend so:
 Shivra's a drow rogue.

Pretty!
I should make edits of more of my D&D characters. I've got relatively few.

Lucca: Thanks. I like to make edits of them, helps me to visualize 'em better.
Bridgey: Thanks. She's the only drow (and the only female) in a party of humans. The only female part is pretty common seeing as how I play with Hubby, my two brothers and Dad. But it's not usual for everyone to have the same race.
Congrats! I joined in February sometime.
Kari: WOW! That's awesome!!! Enjoy the visit.
Thanks.

This ain't Hollywood, this is a small town...Congrats to everyone here, 'cuz I'm not sure who I should congratulate...
So...today was slightly better than the past few days. I still cried, but it was made slightly better when a guy I've liked since the 8th grade came up to me and sang an 80s love ballad while playing the acoustic guitar to make me feel better. I wound up crying even more, 'cuz I want so badly to tell him how I feel, but I'm too nervous to do that...I need to get up the courage to tell him before the musical is over, though...otherwise, I'll never have a chance... And it's too late for you and your white horse to come around...
