 Benten smiled as she took the cup, and he did a small toasting motion before downing his own cup. "ah now this is life, resting peacefully under the stars enjoying a good drink" he said with a satisfied sigh. Even if this moment was being shared with an enemy he didn't really mind at all. After all Benten was allways one for making up over a good drink, and the longer they stayed like this the longer Alice went without attacking anyone. He looked over at her and his brow raised at the sight of her swaying and flushed face. "you allright lass? this is some pretty strong stuff" he said warily. The golden mist sake was considered the highest quality sake his villiage made. It wasn't necessarily the strongest, an oni like himself could handle it just fine, but for any other race, and particularly people who didn't hold their liqour well, it could get them drunk in a few sips, let alone a whole cup. "I'd offer you another cup, but you seem to have hit the wall allready" he said with a chuckle, kind of interested in seeing what type of drunk Alice was. "still as my family allways said 'one more can't hurt' " he said, pouring her another glass anyways and offering it to her.

Alice head went back as she fell on to her back with a grin on her face. "Oh...wow..soo good." she said as she sat back up and held the cup towards Benten. She apparently wanted another cup of whatever was in his gourd. To be honest Alice still had the assumption of it being water. "Huh? Hey where the sun go? I thought it was suppose to be sunny at the b-beach." she said looking up and around.

Benten laughed seeing her fall back. It seemed she was allready stumbling after two. "you like it? my village's specialty" he said, feeling a bit prideful that even the emotionless and often quiet Alice was singing the praises of his village's sake. When she held her cup back out Benten looked at her for a moment, not sure if he should give her another drink or not. "ah what the heck" he said pouring her another drink. When she started rambling about the sun Benten sat there drinking directly from the gourd, getting a few good gulps down before turning back to her. "well lass sun sets on everything no matter where you are. Though I'm sure if you behave yourself you'll get to enjoy the sun tommorow" he said with a smile, only now getting lightly buzzed.

Alice smiled stupidly as she was given another round of 'water' and drank it all up. "Ahh! Yes, very much. So good." she said all happily. Alice looked over to Benten as he explained but all Alice heard was "well blass the sun bets on eberythang. but if you're good byou can win too." was all she heard. "Then if thats the case I'll go beat it she said standing up and laying the cup on the ground. Benten's coat falling off of her shoulders and she quickly unsheathed her sword. "Alright sun come out! I'll beat ya!" she said as she ran to the water. The water came up to her calves as she looked around more for the sun.

Benten couldn't help but smile seeing the girl all goofy and happy. Even if it was due to the alcohol it was a big difference from her usual attitude. The oni's eyes went wide as she suddenly tossed his coat aside and ran into the water sword drawn. "yeah that last cup was defiantly a mistake" he said to himself, hopping up to his feet and slowly walking into the water after her. "calm down lass. You aint fightin nobody, specially not the sun" he said, having to surpress the urge to laugh. He came up to her and gently gripped her shoulders trying to calm her down. "come on and sit down before you catch a cold" he said.

Alice looked around more and felt Benten's hands on her shoulders. "What? No way. I have to beat the sun first. If I don't then its..its going to mock me." she said as she took a step but fell into the water. She sat up and wiped her face. A gentle breeze brushed her skin and she began to get cold. "I.I am not going to catch a cold. I'm a sekirei I don't catch colds.." she said as she made her way back to Benten's coat and wrapped it tightly around her. The body of a sekirei were immune to small illnesses. She shivered and placed the cup near Benten hoping he would actually poor her some more to drink.

Benten sighed and tried to keep her balanced as she kept rambling. Unfortunately it proved to be an impossible task as she ended up falling into the water anyways. "come on, lets get back to the beach" he said helping her up. In his slightly inebriated state he couldn't help but notice she looked kind of good in her swimsuit, the fact she was dripping wet not helping matters. Brushing that aside he guided her back to the beach and helped wrap her up in his coat. "well it doesn't matter if you'll get sick or not, you'll be alot more comfortable this way" he said. When she placed her cup near him again he actually laughed and patted her shoulder. "your persistant I'll give you that, but I think thats enough for tonight. Maybe next time I'll get some less strong stuff and we can make it last longer" he said standing up and gathering up the cups. Then suddenly he scooped Alice up in his arms and started off towards her beach house. "come on lass I think its best you sleep it off before you go and do something really stupid" he said with a chuckle

Alice frowned when he said that she was unable to have anymore. When she was scooped up she laid her head on his chest and began to yawn. Almost soon nodding off. By the time they reached her beach house she would already be asleep. Unfortunately in the morning she would probably wake up with a migraine and no recollection of ever having drinking with Benten. ❝ --- Our purpose in this world is a mystery, or so it seems.❞

Benten felt her head rest up against his chest, but simply let her stay like that. When they got to her beach house he looked down at her in his arms and smiled. "you know you aint all that bad when you aint swinging that sword around" he said opening the door and carrying her inside. He unwrapped her and gently set her down on the bed. She was still soaked, but there wasn't much he could do about it sans trying to take her suit off, which was a bad idea for more reasons than one. "well get some sleep lass" he said pulling the covers over her, trying to make her as warm and cozy as possible before slipping his coat on and departing. "well that went pretty well all things considered" he thought. However suddenly a thought came to his head and he walked back into he beach house. He slipped the covers down and quickly took her sword before tucking her back in. "sorry lass, just playing it safe" he whispered, stealing out of her house once more, now with the girl's sword in tow. He didn't bother with the beach anymore and headed straight back to his own house. Benten slipped back into their room through the window and set the sword down by the door before slipping back into bed with Ayaka. He cuddled up especially close to her to try to resolve some of the sexual tension from when he slightly gawked at Alice's swimsuit. "jeez, why do I allways hang around with such troublesome girls?" he thought, wrapping his arms around Ayaka and kissing the back of her neck.

Alice did not know that Benten has taken her sword away from her. All though she was sleeping she did have the feeling that something was missing. But because of how drunk she was her senses were really all over the place which made her illegible to go and retrieve her sword now.

"AHEM" Rumia stated clearing her throat as Medusa made her move
"I'm still here listening and I'd rather not have to watch you to get together if you don't mind" Rumia stated as she emerged from Chris's shadow.
"So I think for now Miss Snake can keep her pants on" She added not impressed with how forward Medusa was, Rumia was not going to let her just pounce on Chris like that.

"Good will overcome...." ▀Chris Rant▀ Chris grinned seeing Medusa get a little more serious, but Chris' other self wasn't amused. This isn't good... I like Kairi! he shouted in his head. Has Kairi ever pleasured you before? Exactly. His demonic half said back as he looked up at Medusa and gave her a grin that matched a small blush on his face. Once Rumia popped up, Chris' eyes flew open. Damn, here to ruin my good time... the demonic Chris thought to himself. Thank you Rumia.. the good half of Chris thought out more with a sigh. Just because she stopped us now doesn't mean it's not gonna happen. .... Hey maybe you're right Rumia, now is probably not the time, so maybe we should go check out this place. He was reffering to the new city. He picked Medusa up and jumped to his feet, afterwards letting her down. He winked at her and sent her a message telepathically. Meet me here after nightfall, we can be alone then. What.. did you just do? good Chris thought, not knowing of the fact that his spirit powers can allow him to send telepathic messages. Nothing.  Angel was a bit hesitant when she asked was it about 'his friend.' I really can't lie to you, he said sighing. But there is one thing that could change her though... and I doubt it would ever happen seeing that she's already changed into a full on demon angel. He said to her pretty much telling her that he wasn't fully a demon angel, but he was able to change peacefully.occ:

 Medusa smiled down at Chris lovingly. "Chris I...." she slowly lowered herself down, about to kiss him when suddenly Rumia interjected. Medusa jumped back and her face turned red, apparently having forgotten about her being there. "s-sorry...I don't know what came over me...." she said, glancing away from both of them. "just as planned" Grenga thought. There was no way she was going to sleep with a filthy neko unless it was absolutely necessary, still using Rumia to allow her to display that level of affection without actually doing anything would certainly get her closer to him. She flinched a bit when Chris picked her up and smiled at him bashfully when he set her down. "yeah, I should get back to showing you guys around" she said timidly. When she recieved Chris's telepathic message she looked at him for a moment then nodded. She looked out at the moon in the sky and seemed to change her mind however. "actually its getting pretty late allready. Its probably not good to have you guys out this long after dark. How about tomorrow then?" she asked, starting to head back down the trail, though she snuck a wink at Chris, showing she was still planning to keep up their meet up agreement. (note: it is allready night)

"Right and Chris I'll be staying in your shadow tonight if you don't mind" Rumia stated as she sunk back into Chris's shadow before he could even object.
"Snakes and cats never get along"Rumia told herself more as a reminded to herself to why she was interfering in the first place normally she wouldn't care what Chris did but the snake girl gave off a weird vibe that Rumia couldn't ignore she could sense the hatred Medusa had for Neko's but she was masking it well.
