There was a hand over his heart as he was told what to do, “But… I love fighting… I’ll heal, so I’ll be fine.” Grinning more at the other, he soon had an arm around Cassandra, snickering just a bit. “Come on, I’ll be fine. Go help the human.” Cassandra rolled her eyes, flicking his forehead, “He’s not in too bad of shape. Kyoshi healed him.” “huh… then what’s the threat?” He blinked a bit more, chuckling softly at the others before he shook his head, not wanting to go anywhere. Rave sighed, nodding, “I’ll come with you, if you don’t mind. Eldin… make sure the demon behaves.” Edward raised a brow, “What can he do?” Rave simply smirked and began to walk out, chuckling softly. Underestimates were entertaining to him.

Kalore’s shaking and shivering never stopped as he was keeping close to the other, whimpering again at the words as fresh, but silent, tears were going down his cheeks. He wasn’t someone that normally broke down, always having to have a strong front, but no one would be quiet with what had happened. Closing his eyes, he simply nodded. “Show me.” He didn’t care how, but Kalore just needed to be reminded somehow, someway, and by Monty that he actually was wanted by the other. How he was shown, he truly didn’t care.

Sighing some, Dusk’s mask went down, the other frowning more as she did the same with her hood. “The building that I’m sure she’s in is covered with security, and there’s no way in hell that I wasn’t seen. I can’t be tracked but… damn.” There was a look of confusion on her face. “Who the hell has it out for Gambler like this, Kyoshi?”

Raising a brow at the other, Edward simply shrugged before he moved to be able to sit down, bringing Cassandra down onto him as he was grinning, the woman rolling her eyes. “I’d be careful, Eddy… the kid handled himself in a room with a berserker…” Edward simply shrugged as Eldin was hiding a smile, moving so that he could clean up where Joker had bled around the place, sighing once more before he shook his head some. “Just keep to limited touches please. Any more than that and you’d probably reopen your wounds.” Making a face, Edward simply shrugged some, “Hush kid… what do you know anyway?” Eldin just chuckled, shaking his head. “Let’s not go there, shall we?”

Rave was leading the way, but only because he wanted to get there quickly. If it wasn’t for the fact that Joker was there, then he would have used his shadows just so that he would be able to get there even quicker. Sighing some, he was opening the door as Dusk was biting her lip softly.

“It’s a dark building, like… really dark.” She was soon explaining the building in graphic detail, showing that she was good at her job for more than one reason. Sighing once more, Dusk shook her head, crossing her arms as Raul was standing up again, shrugging some. “Get in and out with shadows? Can’t you angels or demons use your little invisibility power?” Dusk nodded some, “Rave or I could probably get you guys in without being seen… but Rave could probably do that better than me.”

There was a flinch and a wince as Monty was close to him, but Kalore’s eyes never opened as he was huddled; scared. The elf wasn’t someone that was like this, ever, but he was badly shaken. Kissing the other softly, though, he was trying not to be too harmed by this, but it was hard. If he opened his eyes, though, then he would simply be looking away, though he soon had to as his memory was showing him everything that had happened in the past few hours behind his eyelids. Kalore’s eyes were quickly opened as he whimpered softly, his hands moving to bring the other closer, scared.

Raul nodded some, “Of course that would be too easy. But your people are back and in front of you, so obviously they underestimated you.” He shrugged a bit before blinking slowly, watching the others with a bit of a sigh. He too was curious on how everyone was doing but… “Edward. Cassandra said that there was more pain on his end than mine. What happened?” The human watched as Rave ran a hand through his hair, frowning a bit as if thinking about how to explain what all had happened. It had been an… interesting trip.

Sighing some, rave nodded. “They’ve underestimated us ‘elves’ quite a bit, otherwise I don’t think that we’d be here. From what Eldin told me of the situation with him and Joker, it seems like they know you all very well, but know nothing of us.” Another sigh and he shook his head. “That may be what helps us, but I don’t know anything about your kind - - as in angels, demons, rogues or not - - so I don’t know for sure. Eldin’s fine; a bit beaten up and freaked out, but fine nonetheless. Edward has parts of him stabbed into and looks like a body from autopsy, but is walking and causing trouble once more.” He continued to think about the others, frowning at the thought of Monty, but mostly of Kalore. “The demon is fine but…” Rave shook his head, silent now. He didn’t want to think of the elf that he hadn’t even be able to see the face of as Monty hid him in the blanket.

When Monty pulled back, there was a stab of fear in Kalore’s chest; scared that he really was getting fed up with him. As he looked up, his grip around the other tightened before he spoke, his voice tight. “I… I’m trying, Monty…” Another soft sigh and he was looking away once more, frowning. Kalore wanted the other to help him; to hold him, kiss him, love him… but the man didn’t know how to just get through his mind and allow it. “Please… just… I know you won’t hurt me but…” His eyes closed again, his head tilted to the side as he was biting his lip a bit harder

Rave was thankful that the other simply dropped the subject, but soon was frowning at the thought of them ‘sticking to the walls’. It wasn’t a bad idea, but he didn’t know what he thought about going into a place blind. Then again… them going in blind as they mapped out the place was the only way that they were going to get anything so.. Sighing once more, it wasn’t long before he was soon moving to be able to go ahead and just lean against the wall more, nodding. “I think that we could do that easily enough.” He watched as Dusk nodded as well.

“Yeah, we can do that.” Glancing over at Joker, there was an amused look on her face, along with Raul’s, as they were both watching him. “What would you like to do to distract the bad guys, Joker?” She was chuckling softly, tilting her head a bit to the side as she was only half listening. For the most part she was thinking about what it was that she was going to do to make sure that she didn’t get caught. Rave wouldn’t get caught, but Dusk still wasn’t as good as he was… but she was going to have to be at the moment.

Kalore nodded some as he whispered, “I know that you are.” With another sigh, he was wincing as he was brought closer to the other, feeling the wounds on his back and the rest of him complaining at the movement. The elf didn’t like to be careful with much of anything, but he was already in pain and already hated it and all he and Monty were doing were laying down. He sighed once more before looking up at him, “I don’t… Monty, I don’t know what to do.” And the elf really didn’t. Kalore hadn’t been in a situation anywhere near like this, and he hated not knowing what to do but… Sighing softly, he shook his head again before biting his lip softly. “Just… Just help me… you’ve been through this before… worse than me… how’d you get through I t?” looking up, there was almost a desperation in his eyes.

Rave looked a bit confused, never being one that was good at something like that before Dusk soon was grinning broadly. “A hacker?” She noticed that Raul was chuckling softly, nodding some, “We could do that.” Neither of them were bad at hacking, but they weren’t that good. They did know two or three people that would be good, but… “How good is the system?” Dusk shrugged, “It didn’t seem like much, but I wouldn’t go in there underestimating anything. Probably go ahead and turn it as something like… I don’t know… high level?” “that high?” She nodded, “Why not? Zig’s around here somewhere, and if now then we’ve got Edward.”

Watching them, Rave’s eyes were on Dusk as he sighed softly, “Do you speak to anyone who’s not a criminal?” Dusk simply blinked innocently. “Criminals? Now, come on… all of us have perfect records as upstanding citizens…” That only worried Rave more.

Kalore was biting his lips softly as he nodded some, listening to what it was that the man was saying before he shook his head just a bit, sighing once more. “Then… however it is that you think you can help… just do it.” The elf didn’t know himself what it was that he could do at the moment to make this better. He shook his head some, not knowing what to do other than to just trust the man in front of him and hope that Monty really did help him as much as he trusted he could.

Glaring at the other, Dusk stuck her tongue out before sighing some, “I don’t know if Ziggy is going to be around and hell, I don’t even know if Edward will want to. He’s an annoying as hell demon so…” Raul shrugged but then both were blinking as the others were talking about some other person. “Who?” Rave raised a brow, chuckling softly, “Who’s this?” From what he knew that was a style of a food, not some person… but hey, Gambler had the name of something that normally wasn’t a name… same as Dusk and Rave himself, so he really couldn’t complain all that much.

Once the other felt the other completely against him, Kalore whimpered softly but was trying to relax as he was shivering, trying hard to just calm down as he felt the other’s hand on his back. Giving a bit of a nod, the elf’s eyes closed tighter, his face turned away once more as he tried to do what it was that Monty had told him to do. It was hard, damn near impossible, but he was able to finally picture the one spot that he went to when things were really bad. It was a place in Dark Haven, near where he lived, and it was someplace that he absolutely loved…. But he hadn’t been able to go to for a while, but that didn’t stop the memory. It didn’t help him relax too much, but Kalore was trying to calm down.

Raising a brow, there was a look of interest in all three faces of the others as they were all blinking, “So… what’s so great about this guy?” now it didn’t matter what her people could do, but Dusk was just curious about what it was that the others were talking about. “I wanna meet him.” Rave rolled his eyes, “Is that wise? You tend to cause trouble with everyone who meets you…” “Oh shut up!” Chuckling, Raul had to nod, “I have to agree with that…” “SHUT IT!”

Kalore was trying to do as the other was saying, but as his body continued to shake, it didn’t seem to matter what the rational part of his mind thought. When he shut his eyes, he simply saw Lech, but when he opened his eyes he couldn’t face Monty’s eyes and he felt like a coward. But he was trying, and soon the elf sighed softly, glancing back at the wall as he simply nodded, focusing on the sounds and smells that his memory was bringing up as he felt the other’s hands on him. He had to force himself not to cringe away, though, as he sighed softly, whispering, “I’m… I’m trying…”
