Narcissa was definitely hit by that Faint Attack, falling forward when she was swiped, but that smoky armor she'd gained from Baroque's Guard Split helped soften the blow. It still hurt, for sure, but she wasn't about to let that do her in. "Absorb on Totodile, once again. Don't let it hurt Baroque." Lykas called from his place.

The Frillish nodded and used her Absorb once again, sending those same green energy tentacles stretching out from her own to ensnare Totodile and sap it's life force.

"Baroque! Counter Totodile with your Shadow Ball, but wait til it gets close!" Odd called. The Yamask didn't seem to respond for a moment, preparing for Totodile's attack. At the last second, he tried to spin around and dodge the attack but he wasn't quite fast enough.

The crocodile-like Pokemon's jaw latched onto his arm painfully and no matter how hard he seemed to shake it, he couldn't get free. After several moments of trying, he formed a Shadow Ball in his free hand and made to slam it into the back of Totodile's head. Maybe it wouldn't be a fair KO but if he could at least knock it for a loop, it might let go.

"What smells like someone fell face first into the perfume isle of a Victoria's secret?" I asked, staring in confusion. The reason why I asked...while the scent may be pleasant to some...it was sicking to others...namely me.

Kairi would wake again much later, not having realized that she had fallen asleep in the first place. Apparently whatever she had been sick with had caused her to pass out again. The red-head seemed to be feeling better now though. She tried to move, but found she couldn't. Kairi looked up slightly, and seeing that she was still in Reno's arms made her smile. Funny how after their little conversation Kairi was finding it easier to smile. She'd probably revert back to her old self around everyone else, but, in the comfort of her own room, laying here with Reno, she could afford to give up the tough girl act. She managed to move enough to bring one hand to the right side of her face, trying to see if she was wearing her bandages or not. She couldn't remember right now. Well, not until she felt the scarred skin beneath her fingertips that is. She inhaled sharply, and her breath was shaky for a moment as she realized that she had never put the bandages back on again after they had fallen off. The red-head blinked, her blind, scarred white eye closing and re-opening as easily as her working, golden one. Unsure as to whether or not Reno was awake as well, Kairi found herself snuggling closer to him, resting her head on his chest, just over his heart, listening to his heartbeat.

He wasn't sure what had happened, but, Dante was fairly sure he had missed something. Last he remembered, he had been following Leslie, and she was pointing out someone to him. But it seemed that he had zoned out at some point. In any case, he was now sitting on the floor, Nina sprawled across his lap, fast asleep. He scratched the Vulpix behind the ears, causing her to yip happily in her sleep. The blue-haired male smiled, and looked around to see if the little blonde girl was still around.

"That makes one of us." I said. "Anyways...saw the battle, I kind of want to have a battle now...haven't really had just a typical battle since...ehh...well, before coming here to stop the Ciphers, and that was just at the gym."

Reno stirred awake as he felt movement against him. Cracking a single eye open, he saw Kairi snuggling closer to him, with her bandages still being off. Kissing the scarred area around her blind eye, Reno croaked out, "Guess we have a little explaining to do if anyone sees us leave the room together." Apparently his accent died off in the morning. It probably didn't help he hadn't had anything to drink since yesterday morning. "So what are going ta do today, Kairi?" Reno asked, his throat finally beginning to loosen up.

Meanwhile, with Leslie and Dante, Dante would find Leslie passed out on the ground. Light snoring would show she was only asleep, not dead or anything. Considering she had been awake since the day before, it was amazing that she had lasted so long. But apparently, she had time to write a note. On it, it simply said, "To the lobby." Hopefully Dante could follow these directions.

"I'd be more than happy to oblige," Night said, dipping her head in a mock bow, "Just as soon as I rub this crap into my tail and decide whether or not I should kill V."

"No idea," Night admitted, lifting her hands in a shrug, "All I know is it's what his true name starts with and he hates it. I am determined to find out the rest of it, though."
