"Well screw me sideways," Night said softly, watching as the Hyper Beam slammed into Allegro, successfully knocking him out of the fight and ending the battle.

Recalling him to his pokeball, Night gave a soft sigh before turning one of her usual foxy grins up to Sub, "Well, guess you won this one. So, no alcohol for a year, huh? Yeah I can do that. Though," She lifted one of her tails, the one she had previously dyed the underside pink in order to test the dye she'd used on Sub's hair, "If you ever figure out how to get that pink out, let me know?"

Lykas and Odd whistled and cheered for Sub's victory. "Better luck next time Night. But you put up one hell of a fight." Odd declared as he ran out towards the field. Maybe now wasn't the time for it, but if Terashi was up for it, he'd gladly give him a battle now.

Chinami rubbed the back of her head lightly at Samurai's question. "Dew dewott. Wott dew deeeeewww ott ott dewott." [I'm fine. Been babysitting for my human.] She didn't seem to be hurt or even suffering from exhaustion. Just a tad tired. Probably from chasing Narcissa all day.

"That was a good match," I said to myself as people started clearing out. "Maybe once the sandstorm clears, I could try out a few ideas..."

That's when I remembered Odd and Lucius's offers. "So, who's up for some training?"

"Oshaa." (I see.) was Samurai's response. After a moment of rubbing the back of his neck, he walked toward the couch. "Osha osha?" (Whatcha watching?)

I took a deep breath. I knew Odd had some new ghosts, having seen them on the battlefield. I was getting a first-hand taste of what they could do. Better not hold back.

I reached down for a pokeball... but my belt was empty. "Aw, crap. Hold on."

I smirked as I walked through the main lobby, but didn't stop to look. I caught a glimpse of Samurai with that female Dewott. If they didn't spend so much time apart between meetings, I'd almost call them an item.

I rushed into my room, grabbed the other five pokeballs, made a mental not to catch a few more pokemon in case of scenarios like this, and headed back to the gym hall.

Meanwhile, Samurai, who didn't see me pass, was staring at the television set, his eyes practically glued to the screen. "Osha sha oshawaaaaa wott oshawott." (Those are some wieeeeeerd-looking scalchops.) he said at some point.

"Alright, I'm back," I said finally, upon my return. "Samurai's preoccupied, so five against five?"

Odd gave Terashi a funny look when he mentioned Samurai being preoccupied. "He's too preoccupied for a battle? By what, may I ask?" He questioned calmly as he reached to his belt for a Pokeball.

"Five on five is okay by me. Just means I have to decided who gets to sit this one out." He determined as he began to give some thought to that. Regardless, he began the battle with a flick of the wrist to throw out the Luxury Ball containing his Yamask, Baroque.

The Ghost-type emerged in a flashy swirl and red and white lights before simply staring straight ahead, creepy red eyes unblinking, as always. "Maaaaaaask." He was ready, even if he didn't show it.

Lykas, on the other hand, gave Lucius an even funnier look than the one Odd had given Terashi. "How do you know our names? And how do you know about Narcissa? I've never met you before?" He asked, suddenly concerned that Sub may have let a creepy Stalker into the team. Was this kid going to kill them all in their sleep or something? Or was he just overreacting? Crazy people can do that at times, you know.

He wasn't opposed to the idea of a battle but it was then that he realized where this guy knew about Narcissa from. "Er.....you know what.....nevermind......." He'd just mentioned her to Terashi a few moments ago. He must've forgotten this kid was sitting right next to him when doing so. Yay for stupidity breeding paranoia? "Two on two sounds like it would be an easy enough battle for her."

"I'm up for it." Odd decided as he looked over to the new guy.

Lykas shrugged lightly as he stood up, stretching afterwards. "Sounds like it could be fun. But only if we can all promise Narcissa won't get too hurt." He announced as he walked over to his boyfriend's side of the arena.

Back with Samurai, Chinami nodded. "Dewott. Dew dew ott dewott dew wott wott dewott." [Yep. But these humans know how to use them.] She determined. "Dew dewott dew wott?" [Would you like to watch?] She asked, scooting over a bit to make room for the Oshawott.

I released Simon and handed his pokeball to the new kid. "I'll be expecting this back after the battle. This is only temporary," I told him.

I wasn't giving Simon away the way I did Titan.

That done, I knelt down to look at Simon the Drillbur. "Do me a favor and look out for this human for a bit. If he asks you to do something, just treat it as though I told you. Don't worry, this is only temporary."

I patted Simon on the head at his response, and stood up, setting Shady's ball aside. I had my team planned.

Wordlessly, but with a smile, Samurai climbed up the couch and sat beside Chinami as the pair of otters observed the humans on the big flashy screen.
