She lit the clove and tossed the lighter on the bar.

Well... I knew that my father was an Elf and died before I was born. The only details I could ever get from my mom was that he traded his life so I could be born safely. The full version goes that my mom was a succubus that took the form of a human and targeted my dad. The complicated part is she actually fell in love with him. Upon doing the deed she consumed his soul and instead of using it to extend her own life she used that soul to create a new one; namely Kai.
It actually explains a lot about my desires. emotion_awesome
