I created her so it is my right to destroy her. Dorien answered, although his nails did return to normal, but he did take Magnolia away from Kari's grasp, And she'll kill you with just as much remorse as I would for her. Obviously the remorse wasn't there..
Kari... she answered, looking at the two in amusement, Now I understand why you didn't agree to my proposition Dorien. She has you wrapped around her finger...Impressive...

Magnolia raised a brow, Ha! You're as prickly as Dorien! How sweet. Her smile broadened, I don't think I could wrap Dorien around my finger if he were a ribbon. She replied brightly, Would you like a cookie? My mother and I made them fresh! Ignoring Dorien's rather heartless comment about his right.

Dorien narrowed his eyes and was tempted to kill the girl anyway. He just had to get Magnolia out of the way...
Kari waved her hand in disgust, Blood from a kill is all I need to survive. she answered before catching Dorien's eye, It seems my plans must change Father...I'll show you fear in a new light, but at another time. I'll make you wish you did jion me. she said this privately before disappearing on her own, the circlet glowing as she did so.
We shall see Kari...we shall see...

Magnolia blinked in surprise, Oh darn.... She turned to Dorien, You don't live on cookies, they're just a treat. She frowned then smiled and went up on her toes, putting a kiss on his cheek, Thank you for restraining yourself, I have a feeling you'll try and get her later...I'm not sure I like that little part about you hurting you...

Dorien frowned before saying, Vampires have no need for anything but blood, so if it is not necessary then why put it insid eyour body? he asked, looking rather angry with himself as Kari disappeared.
He looked down and smirked for only a moment before kissing her on the lips, You know me all too well it seems. As for her threat, I would like to see her try.

I don't. She replied pouting even after he kissed her, She's so cute and I'm sure there's a sensitive woman in there somewhere...she just needs a bit of work! Oh and cookies are nice to eat, they're sweet and warm and soft....like me! Her pout gave way to a grin finally, You wanna try one?

Sensitive woman... Dorien murmured, frowning slightly, Kari is merely an ambitious warrior. There is no need for her to be...sensitive. He wrinkled his nose as she offered him one, I've never had anything other than blood inside of me. I do not care for anything else. You know this Magnolia.

And while you can be very standoffish, moody, ornery, and disagreeable She moved and put and arm around his waist drawing little circles on his chest with the tip of her finger, You have a sensitive, lovey dovey, tender side too. She fluttered her eyelashes at him, biting her bottom lip and smiling.

He would have walked off, but her actions caused him merely mumble a few incoherent words before sighing almost submissively. Very well...what do you do with this..cookie...

She let out a delighted laugh and moved from him but her hands grabbed his wrist and started tugging you towards the house, You eat it! She exclaimed. She towed him into the kitchen where the smell of fresh cookies pervaded the whole room, Here. She scooped up one from the cooling rack they had set them on. They were still warm and soft. She bit into it, the chocolate chips were gooey. She offered the cookie to him, Like that.

Dorien took the cookie, eyed it strangely before biting it as well. There was a strange look on his face as he swallowed, one that his face obviously wasn't used to. A real smile. It's...interesting...

She laughed, oh my goodness, he's adorable! She thought, I know it's been awhile since you eaten anything but blood but a little here and there can't hurt. There are some very awesome foods out there. She took another cookie and began working at it.
Her mother chose that oppurtunity to come in. She froze surprised. The scene was both horrifying and amusing at the same time. Seeing the father if their civilization, the man who was also known as Death itself, standing in her kitchen, with her daughter....eating one of her cookies. There was even a smudge of chocolate next to his mouth. Magnolia must have seen it too because she pulled his face down and licked it off. Okay, now the horror was starting to outweigh the amusment.
"The cookies are so good, Mother!" Then she paused, "Are you alright? You're looking a bit pale."
She blinked, remembering to breathe, "I'm alright, darling. I'm glad you like them."

Dorien glanced over at the woman, but chose at this time not to know what they were saying. It was awkward enough to be caught actually eating without killing something. Besides, he rather liked his reputation and didn't want to mar it anymore than he already has. He finished the cookie before leaning against the and watched the scene unfold.

"Dorien likes them too! I've decided to introduce him to the world of Food."
Her mother blinked, "Ah..."
"You sure you alright, Mother?" Magnolia frowned. She walked over and took her hand.
"One of the founders of our society, a man who could destroy souls as easily as toss a stone into a lake, is the liason of my daughter. He is standing in my kitchen, eating one of my cookies." She finally said.
Magnolia paused, "Oh...Oh Mother, I'm sorry. I never meant to make you feel akward...if you don't approve--"
"No, no, it's not that. This....new developement just takes some getting used to." She smiled and nodded, "I'll be alright, but forgive me if I'm a bit jumpy about him."
"Alright."
While they were having their little mother/daughter moment, Cedar, Magnolia's brother came in to snag yet another cookie. He hadn't yet met Dorien yet and as he ate his cookie he stared at the strange man.
