hmm, yeah I noticed that a bunch of the RP's failed because they were aimed at too grand a scale. Just an observation. That's one more reason I'm making a set of sprites and maps for online strategy games. I figure if we're RPing skirmishes then we never have to worry about longevity.

Alright, I'm back for good now. This time, I promise.

I was going through this weird phase. I'd make a character for RPs in here, other guilds, barton town, I'd get him approved, maybe make one post, then lose interest and disappear completely. I'm committing myself to this guild specifically, and pretty much abstaining from doing anything on the forums here at all.

I'm constructing a suikoden RP. I think it should work out pretty well. I'm not going to pull a "sanctuary" and post half of it and forget the rest, though. I'm finishing it offline and then posting it all at once.

I may also use elements from Sanctuary in other RPs later on. That won't be for a while, though. A big part of why that failed was because the introduction was so loooong. I think I learned from it that being concise is a virtue.

For a little peek at what the Suikoden world is like, though, take a look at This.

The world is too large, so I'll be limiting it, to a certain area, at least to start. I'm thinking probably the Dunan region, since that area is culturally diverse, having towns ranging from mining settlements to hidden ninja villages to medieval castle towns. Starting with the whole world available wouldn't be too much of a stretch, since it only takes a little under two weeks to travel from Zexen to Falena, but it's just too much.

And the western continent won't be available at all (unless your character is leaving the RP) because no one knows what's over there, since they haven't made a game there yet.

Hey! Since we all care and all, I'll tell you about my day!

I got surgury! I dont even know if I spelled that right!

Remember my knee cap dislocation? Well, turned out that the knee cap was broken in two places, my cartilage was highly damaged and there is a tumor growing in my leg too. Yippy.

I might get a laptop and a network in my house though, due to the fact that sitting at my desk dosn't really work well. Pain and curculation wise.

I hope so too. I just got up from my recliner and my knee almost buckled.

The doc says that I should be good as new in a few months. But I may have to pass up football this year. That might be a blessing, though, since I'm taking a bunch of advanced classes and need time to do homework.

On a weirder note, my mom just found porn on our comp. I think I may have downloaded it while I was downloading badges and banners for Dawn of War. There goes her trust.
