Roma was shocked at Obsidian's reaction and quickly started into asking to buy her a drink or twelve.
Karrot looked up at Kaiser and nodded...
"So, uh... how did the party go? I mean without a chef?"
Aron piped in "or a band?"

"Well, without a chef or band, I had lot of hungry, bored, people. How else could it have gone?" Kaiser took another sip of his drink, his wings twitching tersely.

Karrot sighed and shook his head. "Any casualties?"
Roma put the money down on the table and also ordered himself a drink that the bartender did not seem to recognize. He spoke to the bartender before addressing Obsidian's question.
"Are you serious? It is called Kom Tot Bezinning, It's a dwarven made drink? No? Darn, give me your sweetest juice then... Oh yes, sorry, my name is Roma Nescar, and what is yours my lady? Unless you like simply being called that?"
Karrot looked over at Obsidian and explained the drink Roma was trying to order.
"Kom tot bezinning is dwarvish, it means Sober, the rule is 'If you can no longer pronounce the name of the drink, you are not allowed another one' in case you haven't already guessed I am a dwarf."

Copper was giving Roma a death glare, sizing him up, no doubt wondering if she could toss him across the room in the near future. She turned her attention to Karrot, "Ah." Was all she said and left to make the drinks.
"Obsidian." She replied, glancing at Copper, "Be nice to Copper, she's actually very good at her job....and she's available." She winked at Roma.

Roma was taken aback at this, "Are you.. Not?"
He then turned to Copper and began blumbering out an apology but all he managed was "I.. uh...b-b-buh...uh... S-s-s-so.." Before the stress got to him and he realized to late he had forgotten to breathe and he passed out, hitting his head on the counter before landing on his back on the the floor.
Aron turned to them and said, "Don't mind picking him up, He's not hurt, he only hit his head. Also, He gets real nervous when he finds out someone might actually be interested. He has never had a ladyfriend and he never manages to get more attention than a knee to the groin and furious insults."

Copper's name was just as it insinuated, her skin was dark and coppery. Large, almond shaped eyes were slanted and the color of gold amber. Her broad nose was delicately formed and her lips were full. Her dark kinky hair was braided into an intricate pattern that covered her skull. She frowned and was suddenly on the other side of the bar, kneeling down by Roma, waving a pungent smelling vial under his nose, "Wake up sleeping beauty." She murmered.
Obsdian giggled, "He's kinda cute, too bad I'm taken."

Roma woke to the smell and crinkled his nose, for a moment he spoke to himself, unaware that anyone else was there."Do I really smell that bad.... maybe that's why I can never get a da..."
It was at that moment that Roma's eyes had opened and he found himself at a loss of words, the woman was very close to him. He noticed the vial and immediatly assumed that she was just doing her job as a look of emberessment crept across his face.
"I'm.... sorry to have insulted you miss, I don't even know whether or not the dwarves have been seen above ground for 6000 years, I suppose I should not have assumed that anyone would know it... uh.. I... can I buy You a drink, Lady Copper?"
Karrot looked up at Kaiser, lightly confused. "Why did your pride die? ..... Lord Kaiser, What did you do?"

Obsidian ripped her attention from the two on the floor and she looked over at Kaiser and the other man.
Copper shook her head and rolled her eyes, "Boy, you don't have to buy me drink, people have insulted me worse, and no, dwarves havn't been around in while, my dwarvish is very rusty." She smiled then stood, "Stand up before someone steps on you. And then suddenly she was behind the bar again and moving away.

Rike stared in astonishment at the scene, his gaze moving from one dwarf to another before the familiar grin appeared on his face, "Karrot, Aron and Roma...the party died without you all there. And uh..you don't have to use a fire anymore. There's something called electricity here..." he rolled his eyes before stretching lightly.

Magnolia gasped, "Dorien!" She moved forward slipping between the two of them and gently urging each of them away from each other. She turned to Dorien, She is your child, you created her, that makes her your baby...even is she is grown. You don't just go around killing your offspring.
She turned to look at Kari, I didn't catch your name. She said, offering a hand and a warm smile.
