Kronos, who can stayed on the ship most of the time that all the others had been around there bussiness had stayed realitively quiet. He wasn't much for this pirate port, he had been here only once, and had almost been killed because of it. Mind you, it had been many years ago, when he was still very much of a hothead all the time. Though time could never remove his brash attitude it had tempered him. Kronos wasn't about to invite danger, especially not know, when staying alive meant he could not waste his energy on fruitless endeveours. Though Kronos would be pained to admit it in public, he was one of the weaker players in this game, even by human standards. Staying alive was definately going to be a dificult challenge.

Caden was quietly playing with the spyglass he had in his hands when suddenly he heard a familiar voice, one that he didn't want to hear about now though it seemed that he had no other choice but to reply right? So the guard turn towards the captain, his hands now gripped the spyglass just incase someone wanted to take it from him, he got ripped off for the bloody thing he deserves to have it. "I got it from someone in port...why?"
Though he looked at the blind elf beside him out of the corner of his eye, so she decided to give him the whole reason behind why they couldn't be friends? Well it bugged him a little bit but he remembered hearing this before, though the elves back home were always nice to get along with and most didn't mind the age factor really for some reason. "Alright then if you put it that way." He could see her being so observant of him if he is ever around from now on, then again she has her rights to as a person since trust is such a hard thing to gain.

Blinking at her seeming omniscience at first but then quickly recovering himself, he nodded and gestured to the stairs with his hand. "The Gale Claw, another pirate ship, rests alongside ours. The one who requests your presence is their captain, I believe." He led her top deck and to Captain Deacon's quarters. To tell the truth, he had no idea where this was heading but it was probably best not to question so early. Kaz was the observant type and so he would do it before putting forth his own opinion.
"I don't have one. I have no senses remember? You like to remind me of that regularly." Pulsing and hovering in place in front of her, vaguely aware of the Laerethe leaving her quarters. "You don't care? Neither will Kaz I think. Well that just takes all the fun out of it..."

"No real reason. seemed familiar...like I should know where it was from or whom, but I can't quite put my finger on it."
Leaning over the railing, taking a glance at the Dagger.
"So you claimed to be a pirate captain...I wonder how someone with the Guard would even consider for a moment to tell a lie that so obviously is in opposition to thier own ideals?"

Thobias chuckled and bowed. "As you request Ma'am." He turned to Shyrae and crooked a finger at her then let her play with his pistol. Watching her inspect it, he took it from her and showed her the mechanics of it and how it worked. Obviously the girl was curious. He gestured to the ball she'd pulled out of Deacon's a** and laughed. "All it takes is aim."
Shyrae nodded and watched as he demonstrated various things with the pistol, beginning to understand how it worked. She took the gun from him and aimed for a moment then shot the model of the Chimera sitting on the desk. "Like that?"
One eyebrow raised and he nodded. "Just like that. I would bet you could have put the ball in Deacon's other cheek without a problem."
"Very good." She followed next to Kaznec and then nodded to him before disappearing into the Captain's quarters. Standing there calmly, she glanced between those gathered and clasped her hands. "How can I be of assistance?"

Not that she cared if he accepted what she had to say or not. Making friends was not her forte and she didn't look to improve upon her skill...mama said she lacked PR skills like a certain someone else. She didn't think she was as bad as her father though. An almost annoyed sigh though and she turned on her boot heel, walking along till her boots hit the railing at the bow of the boat. Taking Chylithair to her arm, she gave it a thrust forward, the bird taking to the sky. "Go hunt." Thusly leaning on the railing on her elbows, watching the desert or rather not watching, the sands that they were soon to take back to.
"You don't have tangible senses, but you have others. Like when you get that creepy 'something bad is about to happen' pulse. You just lack a sense of adventure is all. I 'spose Kaz has it all. But that's okay, he's more fun than you." Smirking at the ball of light in her own little sense of victory. Blinking then at it as it questioned her, "He cares about the wrong things being said sometimes." Letting her eyes follow his path a moment as Kaz came back topside but then let them return to Xeke. "Don't worry, I'm sure you'll find some more."
Gem casually ran her hands over the various trinkets in the space and such, deciding if there was anything in there she would like, occassionally glancing back to Thobias as he taught the little elf how to shoot a pistol. Though her attention turned to the entering dragon-folk and the little being in accompaniment. "Well, well...he was right. At least you look like the books state and as the old murals depict." Taking off her plummed hat, she swept it across with a bow. "Pleased to meet you, Captain Gem Neerem." Plopping, her hat back on as she straightened herself. "Seems Captain Deacon is helping you, and the treasure you seek perhaps run in my lines of acquisition specialty."

Shyrae just chuckled and handed back the pistol then dipped her head when Eilynne entered the room. She watched the byplay between the pirates but stayed silent.
Eilynne nodded to Gem and scanned over the pirate captain then reached out and took her hand. "Yes, he has offered his assistance and I am rather pleased to know that you will be assisting us as well." She quirked an eyebrow for a moment and stepped back, then glanced at Thobias. "He has told you just enough to get you here, calling it rainbow glass. Do you know of what we seek?"

Kaz observed the meeting between the Captain and the Lady in silence, occasionally glancing down at various items of interest in Hunter's cabin. Treasures indeed, and he had to keep himself from eyeing that sword on the wall... The two seemed to be handling the situation rather diplomatically though, it was somewhat of a surprise to him after seeing all the barbaric behavior pirates could accomplish earlier. Noticing the familiar elf standing by the side of the wall, he dipped in head slightly in acknowledgment.
"I wish I changed colors according to mood. That would make life so much more interesting..." But again a little scoff of indignance. "You think he's more fun than me? What an insult. I'm seriously hurt this time, Jaebelltiah. Anyone on this plane is more fun than that dragon." Hovering by her hip, he too noticed Kaz's return but said nothing of it. The Commander doing commander things again.

"Honor among theives, or pirates if you will. We do have something of the sorts, and we're not all a complete bunch of filty scumbags." Funny how she could smile sweetly at the same time. "Rainbow glass yes, but apparently rainbow glass that causes trouble. I like my sandseas with only a dash of trouble, and the occassional sandstorm or sand worm. Don't like the thought of that taking on a whole other meaning." Raising an eyebrow as seh leaned against the case of rum nearby. "Close or no?"
"Hm, that would be nifty I guess, maybe I'll works something up that reads the intensity of your magic and changes accordingly to show everyone else. I would at least be occupied." But a shake of her head at the seon's drama and she knocked her hip against it as it floated near the area. "You just don't know how fun he can be with the right initiation and intriguing him. We always have fun when we're together, believe me. I do believe I know him better than you do."

Kronos who had been making his war around the ship as the others went around there business soon found himself leaning against the railing next to the blind elf, Savryn, though it had not been his intention. He was not aware for a few brief moments that he was standing next to her, seeing as his mind had gone off wandering. He turned his head and cocked an eyebrow when he realized that he wasn't alone, and thanked the gods he didn't say anything aloud.
"Hey, Lady Savryn, If I may be so bold, how was your voyage into the pirates' nest?" he chuckled.

Eilynne nodded though gave her a look like she highly doubted if there was any honor in Hunter at all. "You are all humans. Pirate is merely your occupation. Just as there are honorable guards and dishonorable, so it goes with pirates and all others as well." Waving a hand dismissively, she nodded. "Very close indeed. This rainbow glass as he calls it is very precious in certain senses of the word. It can affect even your sandseas which involves you quite easily."
Shyrae caught Kaz's nod and moved over by him carefully, trying not to draw attention to herself and upset the Laerethe. She still was a little wary of the creature. "What's going on...?" she whispered softly. "I was asked to remove a bullet out of the Captain's cheek. Am I interrupting a meeting?"

Kaz observed Captain Gem with curiosity and somewhat admiration, seeing as all the pirates he'd ever encountered had been men. This woman must have extraordinary skills to be able to lead a pack of men, all willing to live or die for, and with her. She also seemed cautious and self-serving, but that was to be expected from all. After all, he'd seen those traits exaggerated fiercely in Captain Deacon. But as Shyrae moved to his side, he let his eyes turn onto her and shook his head. "I would hardly call it interruption if they haven't acknowledged your presence. The same goes for me, I think." Tilt of his head though as he looked back to Eilynne. "We may find ourselves with another ally sooner than you think."
Bobbing a bit higher to avoid her hip, Xeke glowed his usual blue light. "Would that involve being trapped in some equipment all the time? Because that wouldn't be very comfortable..." Though he was willing to admit that she was right, in a sense. Kaz often sought after the Seon for advice, but seldom for entertainment, as Jae seemed to do. "You play catalyst too much, I tell you. One day it will explode in your face." A sigh of sorts. "True though, I was only passed to him after his mother died..."

"If you're going to be formal with me, please do it properly. Formally, it's Lady Silverfeather D'vinn." She was picky like that. Formalities were just something that needed to do properly if they were going to be used. These humans though...they were partly intriguing. Where she came from, they didn't ask a lot of questions...then again they all lived on the surface now. "It was pleasant...I saw nothing too wrong with it. When you know how to use cultures as such to your advantage, you can survive and thrive anywhere you choose to be."
"This is a good point, Lady Laerethe, we are humans and to error is human as well as our free will to choose such life styles." A nod and a twirl of her finger in her curls. "So it's as I understood then. And that my dear being, is why I am willing to help despite differences in pure opinion and such. "I don't wish to see the sandseas I love so much go down the proverbial drain."
"Oh now you know I would make it as comfortable and nifty as possible for you. Maybe something as simple as a feather or poweder with some sort of enchantment on it. I wouldn't want to weight you down." Holding a hand up and offering a palm for the pulsing ball of light to rest in, after all, it could. "Sometimes it's needed...I don't like to see him so mopey. It's not good for him. And I like spending the time with him...he doesn't treat me like a tag-a-long."
Shaking her head lightly as she then gave her own sigh and took a seat on the railing, wrapping her tail around it as well to keep balanced. "You know, he doesn't talk to me about that. You would think we would kind of have that in common, but he doesn't say a word. Then again I've never heard Lycear say too much about it. Does he talk to you about it?"

She nodded, "I am pleased you understand my point." Pausing a moment in reflection, she glanced to the map that was still spread out on Hunter's desk. "Yes, what is important to you will keep us all together. It is the same with each of us. We are here for various reasons but they will unite us all."
She sat behind the desk and pointed to a certain place on the map then glanced up at her. "Captain Nereem, you know these sandseas well. You also know the types of things to listen and look for. Do you see anything that you might change from what Captain Deacon has already chosen."
Shyrae nodded, "Yes, I suppose you are exactly right." She watched the other two in the room continue to ignore them and then shrugged. "The more the merrier as humans often say. So then should we just excuse ourselves silently and leave this place or stay and technically not eavesdrop but do just that?"
