You know you're a band nerd when:
You willingly print this thread out and give it to you BD as a gag gift halfway through the season
You can give the whistle commands better than the Drum Major and feel like ripping the whistle out of her mouth every time she screws up and doing it yourself.
When being mauled by a bass drum is a normal part of life
When armed guard means a girl/guy with a metal stick instead of a guy with a gun.
When you know the orientation of at least half the band/percussion/guard
When you marry that special someone in YOUR section
When you're civil to your ex in a sectional even though your not outside of them
When no coffee house means a very dull fall
When the concert tour in the spring = 8 or more hours on a tour bus to get to your destination and you don't even care
When you get mad at someone for calling you a majorette and your in Guard and you chew em out for it
When bruising yourself with your sabre/rifle/or flag is normal
When nearly passing out on Memorial Day is a yearly occurrence
When you sing girl scout songs just to annoy the percussion
When getting hit with a mallet no longer bothers you
When you stop feeling pain because you've dropped you flag/rifle/sabre on yourself so many times
When you can't hear the percussion makes you want to cry (guilty)
When you fall asleep in class and another band geek says 'Band Ten Hut' and your head snaps up and your awake instantanously(Sp?)
When you have four music classes in one year and intend to have a fully musical schedule the next (Guilty)
When your worried about whether you're singing or playing in the spring cause the band and choir are doing a joint piece and your in both groups
I think that's enough, and I know a lot of them are stupid.

I didn't do it . . . but someone else did sweatdrop i was gonna do that, but i think my BD burned the old ones... uhmmm You know your a band nerd when you know the tone of the school Bell Ours is E Flat. whee You know when your a band geek when you look forward to band camp.

fov you know your a band freak when you and your mates can sing the theme song of any show in perfect harmony or you start singing your own parts in band instead of playing instuments. i do that alot

You know you're a band nerd when...
Your band is playing the wizard of Oz and you get up from your chair and start to skip around the room singing "We're off to see the wizard! The wonderful wizard of Oz!" and you're skipping like they did in the movie... Or you're a Wizard of Oz fanatic.... either works... ninja

Our bell is clarinet B natural, but it used to be Bb. Everyone in the school noticed the difference, but no one knew what happened except the band. Its amazing at how distracting a bell being a step off can be.

-band isn't even over and you are ranting that you can't wait until band the next week
-you name your reeds... every reed o_o;;
-you show up 10 minutes early and complain everyone else is late XD
-you have a way to relate band to everything

...you know you're a band geek when you prank call your conductors house when your angry or bored
...either that or you call him and start talking about how you wish band was longer and just bother him and tell him that your bored like hell
...you spend time looking for recordings of music that bands played and think to yourself, "hah! we can do better than that" when sometimes thats a lie razz

When you walk around in school with a reed in your mouth, just in case.
When people are looking for you, they always check the band room first
You're late for every class-except band.
Oh, it's just a new kid. Wait, you're in marching band? OMG MY NEW FRIEND! HI!
EDIT:
You have SO MUCH FUN when at football games you and the other band play songs back at each other. *LOVE IT!!*
You all have a dance to do with most of the percussion solos
You do the wave in the stands...and so does the rest of the school.

You know you're a Band Nerd when...
You find your clarinet case to be the most comfortable pillow in the world. Especially on the long bus-ride home from a competition/away game.
When you name your instrument(s) and find it to be your best friend, and when you are depressed, hug it and use it as a new form of hard teddy bear.
