~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~((Wow, heh, I get lost easily. oh well, I want ot apologize for the following post. I'm just not all that fit to 'save the world'))
Aislinn had been resting with her Pokemon when a strange vibrating noise, followed by a metalic little melody, came from her bag. She pulled out a small communication device.((phone? idk what to use><)) She pressed a button and held it up to ehr ear. "H-hello?" She asked, confused.
"Hello dear! How are your travels? You haven't called me yet." A familiar voice scolded. Aislinn smiled instantly.
"I'm sorry, I've just been really busy." She said,decided to leave her news about her new friends out until just the right time.
"Well I'm glad to hear it, but I wanted to ask a favor of you." Aislinn waited to hear more. "You remember Jacob yes?" Aislinn smirked and shook her head.
"What has he gotten into now?" She asked, laughing a little.
"Nothing as of yet. That's why I called. He's starting off on his own, just like you. As I hear it, he's getting his first Pokemon now. I was hoping that maybe you could travel with him. You two are such good friends, it'd be a good idea for you two to keep the other safe." Aislinn sighed. She knew that deep down, her grandmother just wanted her to travel with him, so that he'd protect her, even though she was capable of that herself. Aislinn looked up around her area, feeling a little torn. She didn't really feel that she was all that ready to save the world anyhow, despite what her comrades had said. Though she suddenly remembered her promise to Jacob with a smile. That made all the difference. Finally she replied.
"Of course...I'm in Dewford. I'll catch the next ferry back and meet him halfway alright?" Her grandmother responded happily, saying she'd tell him herself. Before hanging up, she expressed her love and wished them well. Aislinn smiled a little sadly, but returned her thanks and hung up. With a sigh, she stood, taking out a piece of paper from her pack and a pen. Before leaving the mansion, she left a little note:
Dear Nona,
I really appreciate your invitation for me to join you and your friends. But I have just realized I have a prior arrangement that I previously forgot about. I promised a dear friend something long ago, and now I have the chance to fulfill it. I hope our paths cross sooner or later, and maybe then, I'll be strong enough to help you and your friends in the noble task of saving the world.

With that, Aislinn left the Mansion and went to catch the next ferry to Petalburgh.

Chloe looked up at Nona's arrival, "Sasha and Kaya took off to the Pokecenter. She didn't look too good, and they needed to check her out asap," she explained, pointing the direction in which Kaya took off.
"I'm not sure what's wrong, though. She didn't really seem sick, but she definitely wasn't up to par," Chloe continued with a worried frown. "I just saw Kaya race back, but he took off before I could ask what was wrong. He just picked up Sasha's parents, and they went back in the direction of the Pokecenter, I believe," she finished with a nod.
"I'm worried, though, wanna go check in and see what's up?" she asked Nona and Brayden.

Brayden missed most of the happenings, due to the fact that that his attention was drawn to his feet as something thunked against his boot. Glancing down revealed a small circular shield. Curious, he knelt in the sand, getting a closer look at the strange buckler that had been carried in by the tides.
Brushing a hand over the metal to brush some of the wet sand from it, he couldn't help but release a small gasp. It certainly was a strange piece of work. Although it seemed to be silver or steel, there was a shimmer of blue in the metal, that seemed to bend and sway with the light, reminding one of the flow of tides.
Curiosity piqued, Brayden couldn't help but lift the buckler from the ground, brushing it off the best he could, shaking it a bit to dislodge the sand and seawater that had accumulated on it.
"Hey, did you guys see......" Brayden's words caught as he stood, looking up, catching the glimmer of an Articuno's feathers as Kaya and Sasha's parents took off for the second time, headed back towards the Pokecenter.
Forgetting the shield for now, tucking it into his bag, Brayden glanced worriedly, catching Chloe's explanation.
"I'm worried as well," he nodded, "I vote we go see what's wrong..."

Chloe nodded, "I agree," she smiled faintly to Brayden, as he gave his suggestion. She was about to call Mikami and Cael over to give them a lift to the Pokecenter, however, she spotted Kaya's form approaching the mansion once again. He seemed to be in a less frantic pace than before, but Chloe still wasn't sure they were out of the woods just yet. For one, Sasha was no longer with him.
"Kaya?" she called, waving to her friend. "What happened?" she asked, pausing a moment.
"Did your hair color change?" She asked, of course stating the obvious.
Alkaid had perched on a shrub before she spotted the strange gauntlets laying next to the flowers as a ray of morning sunshine caught on the scales, glimmering. Peering at them curiously, always interested in a shiny object, the Swablu flopped to the ground, chirruping curiously, pecking at the metal. The gauntlets rang out quietly at the poke, resonating in a slight musical key that had Alkaid cooing along out of pure amusement. Pecking at the metal again let out another key.
Thinking herself quite the musician, Alkaid decided to bring along her newfound instrument. Problem was, for a 2lb. bird... she didn't get too far.
Grappling with the gauntlets, Alkaid attempted to drag them, not to much success. She did manage to jostle them a bit, but wasn't quite strong enough to lift them. Harumphing in a disgruntled chirp, she pouted, glaring at the gauntlets, before hopping on top of them. Grabbing hold of one of them, she flapped furiously to gain any altitude. Unfortunately, she did little than scatter a few downy feathers about the snapdragon patch.

Brayden nodded, calling out to Kaya as well, "Is Sasha alright?" he asked, worriedly, hopping up on the garden wall, seating himself on top of the stone there. "She's still at the Pokecenter?" he inquired, realizing that Sasha was absent upon Kaya's return. His worry overcoming his eyesight for the moment, he nearly fell of the wall when he realized the changes Kaya had undergone.
"What happened?" he asked, wondering about the hair and outfit changes.
