Remus knew if he didn't say it now it would drive him insane. He stood up and held her shoulders, looking straight into her eyes. "My instincts spoke more powerfully of the feelings in my heart... I am... attracted to you..." He quickly let go and turned away, stepping away from her, his back to her. He was breathing heavily.

No battle of any kind could have prepared her for what he just spoke of. Remus was attracted to...her? Most men and wmon who told her this were merely after her body for ti could be easily seen from their eyes, but he was serious. If she had a heart, it would have been racing at that moment, "You...." she trailed off, looking at his back, "I am at a loss for words..." how true that statement was, he would never know.

"You now understand what my fears were." Remus opened the door and left the room. As he opened the door leading out of the base, he changed to his hybrid form. He ran then, sometimes on the rooftops, sometimes on the ground. He ran until finally, he stopped outside the city walls, at the scene of his first battle with the Rajens.

Lina watched him go before slumping back into the chair, her composure utterly destroyed. What had just happened in the few moments they just had? A lifetime of explanations wouldn't have made it any clearer. Remus liked her and she...what? She felt her fangs grows as her confusion rose...or was it something else? She let her hands cover her face as the door to the base closed, "My gods...help me..."

The door creaked open and a soft padding could be heard. "That lycan, he was the one who released me was not." Lotan, in his hybrid form again, stood before her. "He seemed upset, possibly confused."

Lina barely registered that Lotan was in the same room as her as she said, "Yes, Remus called you from the tomb..." her voice seemed dazed, as if she really wasn't there.

Lotan's eyebrows raised. "A delicate subject." He thought for a moment. "Ask yourself questions. Do you enjoy their company, do you trust them. There are many things about attraction that cannot be explained, you simply know. If you feel the bond, or even it's beginnings, you'll know it." The grey in his face seemed to radiate wisdom. "No one but yourself can be certain."

Lina's eyes darkened as she listened, emotions flowing through her, "I...understand." she said, lowerin gher head slightly in respect, "Then I must go and settle this now." with that she left the room and exited the building in record time.

Lotan quirked an eyebrow but said nothing. He left the training room and accosted another Lotus member who nodded and began showing the great lycan around the rest of the compound.

Lina took to the rooftops, using her heightened sense of smell to find Remus's scent. She was nowhere near as adept as another lycan would be in tracking a scent, but it was fresh enough for her to follow. She wasted no time in following it.

Remus remained in his hybrid form and slumped down, his back against the wall. He looked up and the moon. He felt the wind blow through his fur and decided to change. He turned human again, but stayed against the wall, his head bent downwards.
