Sparkei had a problem with wearing his emotions on his sleaves, so he wore an expression of shock and horror. The concept of time and space had always caused him to just wander mentally, but this time, he payed close attention. Of course he knew nothing about this ancestor Dreaken, but his gut told him that if he was to be removed..."the first time he died", then there would be HUGE reprocussions to the current D and his family...even those close to D...History abhors a paradox...he thought to himself looking around the room. Sparkei clenched his blades tighter, sensing Dreaken's hesitation to strike had Sparkei on an even tighter leash. He jerked his leg away from Erudemasa and almost glared, he was still afraid to do anything too offensive to the three, he would prefer not to fight...but he finally spoke to them, "Who found Old Dreaken's exhistance so problematic that he'd send the Reaper, a person who can alter time, and another who can alter reality? I mean, why is it needed that he is to be...erased?"

*Kyiana let out a mirthless peal of laughter at the offensively ready man near Draeken.*

You want to know why? Well it's quite simple really. His ancestor has died on multiple occasions in the past. But about six thousand years ago, he was truly and completely killed. Or so Sundel over there thought. His soul escaped her grasp yet again and this time completely eluded the sights of all the Wills. You see, normaly when a person dies, they die and leave this plane of existance. The original Draeken did not on more than one occasion. Four times to be exact I believe. By his coming back into this plan compeltely to reside within this current Draeken's head, he is mucking up Time and is making a mockery of the Laws of Reality. By all that is proper, he should be six thousand years dead, buried, and remembered only in his families' history books.

*She nodded slightly then looked to Erudemesa.*

And you. I know what I am doing. I feel that letting them know and squirm over what they cannot keep from happening is enjoyable to watch. Sure I may want to get this over with as soon as possible, but why not make some people squirm while we are at it. Besides, they wont remember any of it afterwards cause it will not have happened, correct? Oh and Draeken? We can and we will do as we say. Regardless of what you want or do.

Eva kept wandering around the Mansion, looking up at walls, and taking a few quick glances around corners.

-Please inform me if anything happened with Eva yet. I will edit this post later.-

Raising his eyebrow, Sparkei glanced at Kyiana. "Four times? You couldnt catch his bodiless soul four times...you sure he was meant to be dead then? Sure the body might have died," He said, "but destiny might have plans for his soul, which would explain why he's now in D's noggin." Looking at Erudemasa, he grinned ever-so slightly, "But of course, I wouldnt know anything about that more than him."

Lex gave another pounding on the door as he sat by it, grumbling. "come ON! open up damnit!.. uhg.." as he slumped and leaned into it more, sighing. "please? someone?" anyone friendly might would have been acceptable.. he didnt need anymore unfriendly faces after the last few confusion ones and mechanical ones. not that he had much control over it, but one could only hope at least, no?

-_o *She glared at Erudamesa* WE spilled the beans on what we plan to do? If I'm not mistaken, you're the one that couldn't keep your mouth shut. *She then shifted her glance to Sparkei* You have the nerve to ask the wills about destiny? O_o Of course he was meant to be dead! Dear lord! And finally, it will happen. Regardless of what you people want.

Things seemed to be settling down somewhat nicely, given the turn of events. The talkative blue sphere of light was blown away in the explosion, yelling in defiance and lecturing on the lack of manners even as the energy tore it's form to pieces.

With that plan essentially gone, there were few failsafes in place to assist in collecting a proper body. After all, not only was KB throughly insane and older than any one thing should be, he'd always been too arrogant to suspect he'd ever be trapped in a mortal shell, much less become an actual soul.

In such cases the mansion might be prone to a visit from a few coated men, but, KB was now penniless, his vast empires free of his grip and once more in the hands of the people. Shadows weren't lifted, people simply saw a new leader, which was alright.

There was also the fact that the collector had no face, and his body had been throughly ravaged by both KB and Tegral. Now wandering about as an undead abomination, his soul roiling in hell, he was of little use.

Furthermore, the drones were being screwed up in many different ways. Of course, one might look forward to the arrival of the humanoid counter-parts, but Tegral's core design was proving itself hard to work with. For reasons unknown the unit just wasn't the same when the personality couldn't be replicated. In any case, that might've had something to do with the lack of imagination employed by the people running the factory making the units, who were indeed basic machines.

It was a clean, quick, and utterly emotionally void form of propagation, if not ultimately boring.

A black mist formed on the outskirts of D's mansion. It would take shape into that of it's owner before dissolving from view and leaving Xol in it's wake.

He had been here before, however on much different terms with much different intentions. Oh, the life of a two-faced b*****d. So fun. An opinion matters not if your goal is utter annihilation.

This was a survey though, nothing more. He had been watching movements around the land for quite some time. Draeken's mansion was of most interest in that time so it was best to scope out his manor personally.

Eva would run up to a large window, and gaze around the land of the Mansion. The lake was of immense beauty, the light shimmering off it's waters.

She would glance over to where the boat was, and look desperately to find the Drone, but no luck. She lightly kicked the floor underneath the window, in dissapointment.

She would sit there, and watch the land for a few minutes. Taking her time to map out little details.

His crimson eyes solemly took in the surrounding area. Every blade of grass, tree, animal, insect and supernatural being was cataloged and saved to memory for later reference. Xol knew the real meat was inside the mansion though. D, Aria, Phia and probably many others resided inside the walls before him.

Soon.

Xol once again exploded into a violent burst of black mist, twirling in the wind before dissolving entirely.

(*cough* someones at the doors to the mansion. <.x..)

((I think the door opens automatically. Y'know, like Star Trek without the cool *Fssssshhh* noise.))

Derrek didn't know exactly what to make of these three. For one, they were obviously more powerful than him by far. Even with his new knowledge of the orbs, he could not even hope to take even one down. Their threat to change the past had less impact on him than it did on the rest of the members around him. Derrek, as a relatively new member of the BC and having come from far from anywhere Old D would have been, had less to worry about the changing past. Probably only his last few weeks of experiences would suffer. However, this threatened the very existence of Draeken, so it could not be allowed to come to pass. It didn't look like the three of them would attack this evening, but nonetheless, Derrek refused to lower his defensive stance. You never know with people like this.

That Sparkei kid had hit on something deeper than he probably knew. Erudemasa favored him with a rare semi-serious look for an instant. Neither of his compatriots had thought to ask him about the overal plan of destiny for D. This child, on the other hand, had asked the all important question. "Who is to make that call? Certainly not you, nor I, nor even my partners. Rather, it falls to those above. We have all been created and dispatched to deal with Old D as we see fit. If a threat to time itself were not here, why would one such as myself be present? You have more wisdom than I credit to most mortals, asking that question. However, until you know the full circumstances regarding D's presence and the measures taken against him, the answer will remain just out of your reach."

Eru grinned at the remarks of his comrades. "My, you're confident in your abilities Kyiana." he said aloud, turning his smile towards her. In an undertone only audible to Draeken and those around him (due to a quick magical effect) a moment later, he added "Perhaps a bit too confident. I've seen world where full gods have been felled by mortals weaker than those here. Watch yourself, Kyiana, or your overconfidence will end up being your downfall." Sundel's reaction drew only a laugh from Erudemasa. "I guess I did, didn't I? But I wouldn't have if you hadn't insisted on rushing to your beloved D+. Ah well. It's in the past, or maybe the future? Or possibly it never happened. Who knows? Shall we depart, ladies?"

(i kind of expected the whole thing to be slightly locked down while things were attacking >.>;.. automatic doors are a pain for security o_O;..)
PostPosted: Wed Apr 05, 2006 11:27 am

((Forgive me Artemis, I've been waiting on Zely to post, otherwise I would have let you in much sooner. You will be let in now, however.))

Draeken glared at the three in front of him. He was roiling with what could only be called rage, though he did not act on it. They planned to wipe his ancestor from existance up to six thousand years back. He would never have left his home. His father would never have become so mad for power. That was all well and somewhat appealing, but the thing that angered him most is that he wouldnt have met his wife, very likely. "Phia. I will not let you take her from me. By removing my ancestor to remove the happiest moments of my life. My wife, my child, my life here. I will not allow that. I cannot allow that! I suggest you all either leave this world now or be removed from it by force." His eyes were constantly flashing between emerald green and ice blue now. Old D seemed to also be quite upset about it all. "I have that I never would have had without my ancestor. Without him I would be sitting back at my clan's palace, living out a life that compared to this, would be dull. I would have no friends other than my own kind. I cannot allow myself to go back to that."

(Edit)

Despite his anger he noticed that there had been someone pounding on the door to be let in. Using his Second Senses he discovered it to be someone unlikely to cause trouble and likely to have survived the blast outside earlier. Almost unconciously he tripped a small magical spell he had laid on the door to allow it to open on its own. It would only be open just long enough to allow the man in however. As soon as he was inside, the doors would once again close with unnatural speed.

Elisi

Elisi blinked in shock. Life would go back to the way it was before Draeken left their home? She would once again be in good graces with her father and be the top soldier in the clan. Things would be back to the way she liked them. Yet, her younger brother had made a decent life for himself. She looked between him and the three that were making the threats. She wanted to defend her brother, her flesh and blood, yet...The chance of going back to the way things were was just so appealing to her. She closed her eyes tightly and clenched her hands into fists. What was she to do?
