I got a Flickr account the other day and put some pictures up of the farm my friend lives on. It's somewhere I've been study the lighting and landscapes of a few days. Not finished but it's something. :3 Slideshow of the farm.

I drew this last weekend and got it done just in time for the Firebreather movie to come out. I'm taking what I learn in my art class and applying it to my fan art. What do you guys think?

There's a lot of improvement in your scetches, though you could work a bit on your shading. whee

Yeah I know, but at least I'm getting better.
What would you suggest I do to improve on my shading?

It looks as if you just traced around the darker black outlines and then lightly shaded the interior.
maybe instead of thick black lines for showing muscle mass use different color blending to show the different shapes of the muscle. Err... other than that I'd probably talk to your teacher.

Ah I see want you mean. But I didn't have may other colors to work with. I made this with Contea and pastels,
Plus I was trying to work on my inking skills

It's a large improvement then. Though the lines in your armlets and pants are a little over-exaggerated is all. whee

That true. I wasn't sure how to show the curve of the arm bands on it.
Plus I still haven't learn the anatomy of mussels
