((sorry i havent posted in a few days. If you want you can post as the beast as well. Basically all it does is attack with a +3. On a hit it does 1-5 mental damage.))
The spike penatrated the boy, slicing his arm. The spike continued on its path until poofing into a ton of bats. The bats flew around and recollected into the form of a spike in the beasts hand.

"Agh!" the spike missed any vital spots and hit his arm luckily. "Bats huh...So you got a weapon now?" This was a dream that he needed to escape quickly or else he'll end up insane. He tried his best to focus that this was an illusion of some sort.
In the real world outside of his head he was twitching and beads of sweat was on his forehead as he took the hit in his dream.

Katagi stared at the beast as he kept his distance, there was something keeping him in this dream that he couldn't understand. "Come on Katagi...I can't be killed like this!" He tried his best to evade most of the beasts previous attacks but judging from that spike, he might have more of a trouble getting out of the genjutsu.
The beast returned the stare to Katagi as he knew that Katagi wasn't going to attack back at all, it would be a easy meal if he ever got the little genin. Giving out a roar it sent it's tounge to grab Katagi and pull him towards it's mouth.

"Kuso!!" the tounge burnt like acid as it wrapped around Katagi's right arm which was holding the Katana. Each moment Katagi tried pulling back while the monster pulled Katagi toward it's mouth. The smell of the acid like saliva burning his clothes and skin. This was his chance to wake up from this dream.
The beast was going to eat the genin as slow as possible and if needed to be, stab him a bit with the spike created. The spike would be sent to stab into the genins arm as he was being pulled towards the monster.

The spike was stabbed into Katagi's arm as he let out a loud yell which the beast had the pleasure of hearing. "T...This can't be happening..." He said as he looked at the smelly beasts eyes, he could tell he wanted Katagi to be his lunch.
The beast continued to pull katagi in towards his mouth as he lifted the spike once again to slash at the genin, he could tell he was getting weaker and weaker.

"Ah!!" As the spike nearly came close to Katagi's face, he woke up in a scream of horror. He sat up panting heavily and whiped the sweat off of his forehead, looking next to him was Deezers the cat. "It...It felt so real..." he checked his arm to see if his clothes or skin were burnt and then looked around for the katana he dropped and more importantly the beast which frightened him. "So...you made up that dream? was it a genjutsu or a dream of my own?" he asked as he calmed down a bit.

Deezers smiled as the kid awoke with a bit of a fright. He had figured out how to break from dreams. Now he had to use it to his advantage.
"Essentially i did that with genjutsu, but you can affect it yourself. You can do whatever you want in a dream as long as you know it's a dream. This is how you will learn jutsu. You will fight challenges i send upon you in a dreamworld using genjutsu. There you will be able to master jutsu and understand how they work in a world where anything's possible. So, you ready to start learning a new jutsu?"

"W-wait i'm going to be fighting more monsters like that one?!" Katagi said with a frightened look on his face. The genin soon enough calmed down as Deezer said if he would learn a new jutsu. "Yeah, I am..."

Deezers had begun to pace again in the excitement of what would befall Katagi next. He would be facing things more horrible than the devil himself.
"That's the beauty of it. Once you realize it was a dream like you just did, you can do practically anything. Unlimited chakra, mastery of any jutsu! It's incredble. You will begin work on the new jutsu called the hell viewing false surrounding jutsu. You can alter your environment, or at least your enemies think that. You can make them see a tree where there is open space, or vice versa. Powerful if used correctly. amazing things. But first, you must accept that a different direction will first be taken. You will learn to walk on water. . . then amazing jutsu, alright?"
