I haven't named my clarinet, but my friend's electric bass is named Bob, or something like that. At our school, Bob is God.

Kibeth. If you don't know the reference, stop playing video games and read Garth Nix. Oh, and Kibeth is a clarinet.

When i first started band, i had a hard time going from like high to low and so on, and i would always squeak. So i decided to push the blame on my poor rusted sax and call him Mr.Squeakus. Now i do have a new sax, better i might add, and the guilt haunts me to this day (for passing the blame on my sax sweatdrop ) Now im MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH better. On very very rare occasions do i squeak now biggrin

I called my old beated up, rusted alto saxophone Crappy Mer Crappy because it couldn't do anything, even tuneing started to become a challenge.
My new saxophone, i've just been calling my baby.

I used to call my clarinet Clairie, but decided to switch it to a masculine name. His name is now Clay. smile
I enjoy saying that he's the only man in my life. smile
Not that it matters on this forum, but I named my guitar Poe.
I guess that would make him the second man in my life...? redface
