"Yeah, so. The energy in that realm's in its purest state, and the really old forests often have enough of a connection to be abundant in it too. Everyone has a little bit since it's essentially our life force, but most Pokemon and hybrids can't even sense it by itself... it's how Celebi or I can time travel in the first place, and how I pulled off what I did in Realgam Tower," Aden explained. "If it wasn't for the abundance of pure energy and connection to the realm at the time, then Ein's stunt..." He shook his head as he trailed off, thinking about how many points of failure such a scheme had for the first time in a while, let alone exactly what he'd gone up against. "A-anyway, point is this connection shouldn't be here, someone or something's used the realm to get here, and any sort of vehicle would be too obvious using any other method. Which makes sense if they're cut off so cleanly and as recent as you're saying. And what do you mean, trap? You think someone's still in there waiting- Aile!?"

It'd finally register to Aden that Aile fully intended on a trip into the realm when she stepped into the circle. Now was his turn to add in a sharp inhale, hoping it wouldn't do anything but not wanting to take a chance in case it did. "Dammit, at least give some warning!"

Truthfully, much as Cera wanted to panic with Tristen feeling less like a Manectric and more like an off-brand Raikou, she found herself oddly the calmer one of the two. It didn't take a psychic to tell the kind of thoughts, emotions and fears swirling around his head right now. Someone suddenly coming into the power she felt was stressful when the rest of your life had been spent being nowhere near it. And scary. She wanted to respond about the chi converter, but what left her mouth- and its subsequent mental broadcast- betrayed her just a bit. But maybe that was the best thing that could happen.

"...hey, Tristen? Breathe. Keeping yourself grounded with that kind of power's more important than it's ever been. Probably figuratively and literally. Don't let your mind stray off and wander on you; we'll worry about whatever comes next if and when it happens. And sure, I'll make sure he stays safe." Only after she finished and saw Tristen run off did she turn to see the knocked out Skuntank and Muk that were a short distance away.

"...and them. Wonder if using a couple of Revives would be a good idea or not," she remarked to herself, debating the risks compared to trying to hunker down or try to get all of them out on her own."

Monique's fight had been something of a slog. Aside from the initial Cyclizar, who met with its Comeuppance after delivering a near-direct Dragon Rush blow to Noio, her Pokédex was announcing a parade of new Fighting-type Pokémon, many truly unfamiliar to her. There was only so much Monique could do with Hurricane alone, and after a particularly nasty hit from a Flamigo, the Honchkrow fainted.

Her next recourse was a Pokémon that they couldn't even punch: Kalama, of course. The sheriff was able to start clearing some room around her with a bevy of Shadow Bones and Flamethrowers. Soon, though, all the Fighting-types were weary, their chi having been diverted to the large vehicle in the center. Another Starmobile.

The sheriff was soon out of breath, surprisingly soon for such a mission. She knew her body, even after hybridization, and it did not tire so quickly. Was something sapping her? It couldn't be, as she wasn't a Fighting-type ... No, it wanted to do something to her brain. The new feeling was unfamiliar, and Monique tried to fight through the fog.

Down in the basement Aile and Aiden examine the apparent Fairy Ring, Aiden revealing its mystical otherworldly nature to Aile while Aile reveals its apparent unnatural end below. While it would seem Aiden wanted to be cautious with the circle of mushrooms, considering the unpredictable nature of the Fairy Realm of which it might be tied to, Aile decided to take a different approach; dive right in. As Aile stepped into the ring of pink mushrooms she would detect a pleasing scent, like a forest just after a light rain, woodsy. And then, as she stood there...nothing happened. That was until the circle itself took an interest in Aiden.

Maybe it was because there was now someone standing inside of it, or maybe because of Aiden's consistent proximity, or maybe even both of those things, the Fairy Circle would come to life as the mushrooms began to glow. Immediately Aiden could feel an unseen force pulling on him, not a malevolent one but a friendly one, like being pulled in for a hug...a hug you didn't exactly want in this case. As the mushrooms around Aile began to glow brighter and brighter their pink light would spread across the floor at the center of the circle until it was completely covered. The force of the pull on Aiden stronger and stronger until he felt compelled to step into the ring whether he wanted to or not as it beckoned him.

While this entire scenario lasted for less than thirty seconds its 'finale' would happen far more suddenly. The bottom of the inside of the circle would give out and Aile would be dropped downwards and if Aiden had resisted the call of the Fairy Ring for this long he would be unceremoniously snatched off his feet and dragged into the now open hole in the floor. Once both of them fell through the Fairy Ring it would seal shut with a flash of pink light.

[The Fairy Realm]

Aile and Aiden would crash land onto a pleasant flowery meadow surrounded by...nothing? As they rose up from what should be a soft cushiony field of grass and flowers, provided you didn't fall from ten feet high, the pair would note there was nothing but sky on the horizon. No trees, no hill, nothing but sky. Looking around they would find another Fairy Ring off to the side of where they fell, was that the way back? If they looked further they would reach the end of the floating chunk of land they found themselves on. The 'sky island' they had arrived on was roughly the length of a football field in any direction.

On further examination they'd see evidence of others having been here, including what looked like tire tracks. This was definitely where the Starmobile came from, there was no doubt about that. But how did they get here? And more importantly where was the rest of the Fairy Realm? Where was the Endless Woods? Where were all the trees at the very least? Something still wasn't right with all this.

If Aile scanned the area with her ground senses she would confirm what her eyes knew, that they were connected to nothing, this really was a sky island. Aiden would sense that yes, this was still the Fairy Realm but there was a stack lack of presence, usually this place was crawling with Fairy Pokemon and the sensation of 'life' itself. Instead it felt like they were in a bottle with a piece of the Fairy Realm someone put inside.

Looking back to the Fairy Ring they no doubt had the idea they could just go back but if that was just the way back to the basement of the academy then where was the door to this place? They had to sneak the Starmobile in somehow so it stood to reason there should be another door, right?

As all the chaos ensued a few straggling students who had found it difficult to escape the courtyard, mostly because they were corralled by Star grunts, had stopped to hear Tsuki's cries and looked to him, finding his speech inspiring. They were cowering away, hiding from the chaos and hoping it would just pass over. But now they were now roused to action by his speech and before they knew it Pokeballs were bursting open with shows of light, the academy students taking the fight to the remaining Star grunts, mostly those sporting Cyclizars and those that made it inside as some students rushed in to fight, allowing the Snagems to completely focus on Eri.

Amber, Deo and Odd would do as instructed and helped save some of the vulnerable Star grunts from being ran over by their leader's vehicle in its erratic rampage. No doubt earning the thanks of these grunts and making them realize the insanity of this entire situation which now put their very lives in danger.

The rain would begin to fall and thunder crackle as a Thunder began to form, Tsuki's Blastoise firing off a Hydro Pump beforehand and Aisha ramming the side of the Starmobile with Dragon Rush, Rala's Psychic blasting causing its rotation to briefly slow down as it suffered Super Effective damage. Neither non-Super Effective moe really seeming to bother the spinning machine much but it did do something as both hits left dents in the machine's body, hopefully hitting something important. Aisha though would get slammed into by the spinning vehicle as it regained its maximum spin quickly and sent Aisha flying.

While it was regaining its speed Reno and Metagross analyzed its weak points before the four armed Pokemon came in and struck them with Meteor Mash, hitting points vital to its stability, causing not only significant damage but also making the Starmobile wobbly violently as its rotation quickly began to slow down as it found it almost impossible to stir correctly. With the thing ceasing its spin a certain Onix took this opportunity to dig out the ground beneath its back wheels and once the ground was thick enough the Starmobile's back tires simply fell into the ground, now bogged down and stuck in place.

"No! What did you do!? You villains!" Eri shouted, furious to find her Starmobile was now immobile, despite how much the Revavroom tried to rev the engine it just wasn't going anywhere. Grinding her teeth she fiddled with the machinery for a second before Crystal came crashing down, hitting the top of the Starmobile with a three point landing. Turning to face the hybrid she snatched a Pokeball off her belt and stepped up ready for battle. "I'm going to stop your evil here and now!" She shouted at Crystal, preparing to send out a Pokemon, only for the Thunder to come crashing down, aimed at the chi converter. "No!" Was all Eri could say as she turned around upon feeling the build up of electricity in the pair, just in time to watch the resulting explosion of electricity from the impact of the Thunder.

The explosion would send Eri flying and slamming into Crystal, the human girl nowhere near heavy enough to knock Crystal off her feet. However, catching the flying girl wasn't her biggest worry, instead Crystal would immediately note the chi converter was not destroyed. Badly damaged? Yes. But it survived in tact enough to still be running and boy was it running, having absorbed the Thunder which really juiced it but also jumbled up some circuits. All the damage to the Starmobile and the chi converter had cause some wires to be crossed and from what Crystal was sensing it was not focusing just on Fighting energy anymore, instead it was going wild and focusing on the biggest source it could find nearby; Crystal.

As Crystal's power was drained the Starmobile got even bigger and was now taking on an aura of energy that resembled galaxies, gaining the power of the cosmos itself. With its tremendous new found strength it was no longer Fighting type but instead Psychic and no longer relied on wheels as it grew lion-like 'paws' made up of galactic energy, rising up out of the hole it found itself in and now on four 'legs'. Any damage was patched up by this newfound energy as it used it solidify energy and patch itself up. The Revavroom engine grew quickly in size and flung its galaxy colored tongue around wildly as its starry eyes sparkled, enjoying this new power. This was bad, really really bad. This is what happens when Ein's tech gets in the wrong hands.

"Enough of this! I got just the thing for you! Thank you, Sol, but I'll gladly take it from here." Sub said as he looked up at the swirling Dynamax storm forming above them. "Poe, you did good, you can revert." He told his Mega Sableye, whose wall was almost shattered, the Pokemon releasing the Protect and then its Mega Evolution, letting out a sigh of relief as he fell to his bottom.

Clutching the Dusk Ball in hand he smiled. "Time to show you why I'm the best trainer around! Mega Evolution is one thing but now it's time to show these kids the power of Gigantamax!" Sub said as he held out his Dusk Ball, the power contained in the Wishing Star in his Snag Machine surging into the ball, causing it to grow into a massive basketball sized energy vision of a Pokeball. Sub would then lop the ball under handed high into the air where it would burst open in a dazzling display of light and release from within an every growing Grimmsnarl, the hairy ogre now standing massive on its long legs, equal in height to the Galactic Titan Starmobile. Once the process was done Sub would wince a bit and grab his chest for a second, though quickly shook it off, then looking to his Snag Machine that seemed to be making a strange sound. He'd deal with that later, he had other problems to deal with.

"Slug it with Assurance and bind it down with your hair!" Sub cried out to his Gigantamax Grimmsnarl, the beast letting out a roar before reeling its dark energy infused fist back and slugging the Revavroom across the face, its galactic tongue flying backwards from the force of the Assurance. Right after contact with its fist the hair from Grimmsnarl's arm and other parts of its body would begin to wrap around and restrain the mutated Psychic Starmobile, trying to keep it in place. The Starmobile however wasn't going to go down that easy as the Revavroom lashed out and wrapped its impossibly long tongue around Grimmsnarl, squeezing it tight as it gained Poison type properties, revealing it was still a Revavroom after all. Sub would then notice some of the Dynamax energy leaving his Grimmsnarl. Not quickly, but it was noticeable, the chi converter trying to change energy sources again, always seeking out the most power.

"Tch, this thing is just getting stronger and stronger! We need to get Crystal off of there and smash that chi converter once and for all! Otherwise it will just find new sources to tap into." Sub cried out to his teammates. Grimmsnarl could keep it in place and stop it from rampaging but it was just a large and easy source of power for the thing, they needed someone small, fast and strong to go up in there and quickly polish that thing off.

Brian cursed again as Aisha was sent flying, thankfully right at him. He managed to catch the Bagon, who was in severe pain, and he held her tightly as she tried to get back up and rejoin the fight. "Enough, Aisha," he said, his voice gentle yet firm. "Ye took a lot of damage from that hit. If ye take another like that, it could seriously injure ye, or cripple ye for life. I know ye want to fight tough opponents, and ye'll get yer chance, but let's leave this one to our teammates, ok?" The Bagon looked up at her trainer balefully, knowing he was right and hating to admit when she was beaten. She knew she couldn't take another hit like that; her ribs were hurting pretty badly as it was, so there was a pretty good chance she'd either bruised or broken one or two. Giving a painful huff, she crossed her arms with a wince and closed her eyes, a sign that she was calling it quits for now. Giving a small smile, Brian stroked the crest of her head, earning a small purr from the little Dragon-type, then recalled her to her ball so that she could rest.

Both Amber and Brian watched in horror as the chi converter on the Starmobile took the Thunder attack and, miraculously, survived. Amber was sure that would have done it in, but apparently, this one was made of stronger stuff. That being said, it was now focusing its drain effect on Crystal, who had landed nearby, and was taking on the appearance of a Solgaleo, albeit a rather unusual one. Seeing as her original plan had failed, Amber's mind raced to come up with a new strategy. Sure, she could have Spooky and Arauth try and fry the chi converter again, but that would only work so many times. Brian, on the other hand, had an idea, but he had no way of knowing if they could actually pull it off. Looking around, he spotted the person he was thinking about, and made his way over, releasing Firebrand once again, the Magmortar looking at the empowered Starmobile with interest. "Leslie, if I can get ye up there, do ye think ye can take out that chi converter?" he asked.

While Brian was talking to Leslie, Amber's mind had come up with a new strategy. Of course, why hadn't she thought about it earlier? While she still technically had two fresh Pokemon she could use, one was still infected with the Shadow Virus, leaving her with only one Pokemon that could potentially do some damage. The problem was, she'd never battle with him before, so she had no idea what kind of attacks he could do. Pulling out her SNAG, she opened up the 'dex option to look up the Pokemon she was thinking about, wanting to see what moves he could use to help out here, and found one, in particular, that could potentially do something. Pulling out a Pokeball, she enlarged it and tossed it into the air, revealing Loki, her Nymble. "Loki, I need your help," she said, when the bug took one look at the two giant Pokemon in front of him and immediately hid behind Amber in terror. "I know you're afraid, so am I. But you're the only one I have left that isn't injured in some way. Can you help me?" Hearing that he was his trainer's last hope, the tiny Bug-type looked up at Amber, then gave a determined nod. Even though he was terrified of what was going on, he would do what he could to help. "Good," Amber said, giving a smile. "Now I need you to use First Impression on the big metal thing there, the one that looks like it has stars in it. Can you do that for me?" Loki gave a determined nod, turning his attention to the thing Amber had described. That thing looked horribly wrong to him, like it wasn't supposed to exist. Shaking all thoughts of fear from his mind, the Grasshopper Pokemon jumped forward and released the energy of his First Impression attack, hoping to do some kind of damage to the big metal thing.

Tristen quickly made his way through the halls and started to find the court yard where he left Sub and much to his disdain, things has gotten too far out of hand in the short time that he was trying to track down Clavell and the other chi converter in the Clavell’s office. As he looked through the window, he was trying to see what was going on and hopefully get some sort of bead as to where that chi converter was. Troubling him, he wasn’t seeing it right off hand. Unlike the Zoroark hybrids earlier, they didn’t exactly have it out in the open. But then, he spotted it and Tristen’s jaw practically dropped. The machine was on the massive car. “Whyyyyyy!?” Tristen said to himself, knowing that there was no one going to answer that. No one was anywhere in position to even try to get at it, let alone him. Tristen had all this power and he was not sure how to use it. He wasn’t wanting to try to drop more electricity onto it; it didn’t exactly work out like he’d care to, despite what immediate benefits it came with. He needed to get up there. There was only one good way he could think of to do so…and even then, it wasn’t that good.

Tristen started to rush back down the halls and through the building as best as he could, trying to put his newfound strength and power to use. He slammed through a door to a stairwell and practically flew up the steps, skipping up a couple of steps at a time to make it to the top. Several floors he climbed, finding the way to the end of them. He’d ram himself through the door and looked around, trying to find his bearings where exactly outside he was on the roof. Tristen ended up rushing to the rooftop’s edge, looking out. Tristen couldn’t help but to suck his teeth a little, finding the whole ordeal rather iffy. He wasn’t sure if he could clear the gap even with his new found speed and strength, and for that matter if this thing was going to stay still long enough for him to make his move. The Starmobile was trying to be wrangled by a ginormous Grimmsnarl, which was a struggle it looked. “Oh man…” Tristen said. Tristen ran back away from the edge, trying to get some room, then made a full-on sprint. Tristen made a hard leap off towards Eri, Crystal, and more importantly the Chi Machine.

In that instant he made his way through the air, Tristen couldn’t believe he actually did that. Not so much of being able to make the leap. Just attempting it to begin with. With him not too sure that he was going to see tomorrow, it seemed to throw a lot of judgments out the window, as the Manetric hybrid ended up discovering. It was a matter of just trying to make the most of what he had at the time. If he didn’t think he was on the clock, he would of tried to figure out some other way on the Starmobile. Like maybe get Dragonite to carry him over in spite of him not fully recovered from last night. But no, he just leaped. Too much of a hurry. Needing to make every second count. It would be fortunate for Tristen he would slam into the guardrails on the platform; Tristen scrambled, trying to maintain a grip on them lest he’d fall down to the lower parts of the Starmobile, or worse, all the way down to the ground. Powerful he was, he was still susceptible to gravity.

He pulled himself over the guardrails, hobbling a little bit as he made his way over the chi converter, nursing himself around his ribs. It wasn’t a perfect landing. It didn’t matter, he needed to take the machine out. Once he made it to the machine, he’d attempt to rip it out and proceed to destroy it with the unbridled brute strength he was bestowed with.

Rala and I stared at that monstrosity in equal parts worry and disgust. I decided then and there that if the girl that led this attack somehow survived all of this, I was going to smack her in the back of her head for her stupidity. Assuming everyone on the team survived, of course.

While I tried to come up with a plan, I heard Absinthe recall a Pokemon and let another out of its ball. "Don't," I warned her. "That Pokemon just absorbed the energy of a hybrid of a Legendary Pokemon. A PSYCHIC Legendary. Your Fighting-type team won't stand a chance."

Abby glared at me for saying that. "You expect me to sit on my hands while one of our own literally gets the life drained out of her? This is an 'all hands on deck' situation if I've ever seen one!"

I shook my head. "I won't argue that, but this is also exactly the kind of situation where preventable mistakes will have huge, lasting consequences," I warned her, stealing a glance at Rala.

It took Abby a bit to respond to that. "You're probably right," she admitted. I didn't hear her recall her Pokemon, so I looked over and saw a Blaziken. Angeal's sister if I had to guess. "But I'm not gonna do nothing. Fire Blast, Angela. Aim for its legs."

I couldn't help but admit to myself that she wasn't wrong to feel that way. While her Blaziken spit a rune of fire at the enemy, I recalled Rala and let my Blaziken out of his ball, deciding to follow suit. Angeal didn't talk like he usually did when I let him out of his ball, but I had to assume that it was because he was shocked at the sight of the catlike Revavroom. "Use Fire Blast on its legs," I instructed.

Angeal looked back at me and nodded with what probably would have been a smirk if he didn't have a beak, then spat out a rune-shaped gout of flame. If the Revavroom jumped over the first, it likely would get hit with the second, but I wouldn't know for sure until I saw how it reacted to the twin attacks.

Monique caught herself gawking for a second at the Starmobile's new form, a majestic yet truly jumbled combination of parts. Monique realized quickly that it was Psychic-type now.

Good. At least she was no longer facing a direct type weakness to the enemy of the hour. One Fighting-type blow could probably knock her clean into next week. Her fur might be soaked, and there still might be a rampaging semi-Legendary Starmobile out there, but she had managed to avoid that fate.

Shaking off whatever illness she seemed to have at the moment, Monique made her way closer to the Solgaleo-ized Starmobile. Sub's massive Grimmsnarl was proving a foe that could get him into a stalemate. But how was she going to get up there? The combatants were massive, giving the whole affair a kaiju-esque setting.

Then it occurred to her. This was going to require some flight. And it was still raining. She climbed on Noio and barked. "Climb! Climb now!" The Honchkrow began flapping its wings, trying to gain lift in the inclement local weather conditions, the Zoroark hybrid clinging to the body and nearly digging her claws into her own Pokémon. Takeoff was, predictably, bumpy, but after a few moments, Noio was in the air. Grimmsnarl might notice the Dark-type flight nearby, but the Starmobile, bathed in Psychic chi and preoccupied by a much larger foe, had lost its ability to sense it.

The corkscrew path up gave Monique a chance to see the combatants duke it out in what had to be the largest wrestling match in Paldea history. She even saw some of her Snagem teammates attempting attacks on the Starmobile. Finally, the sheriff landed on the "windshield". She looked at her trusty avian steed, the one that had saved her from The Under, and issued a single command.

"Foul Play!"

Odd finally spotted the Pokeball he’d thrown at Primeape after the chaos settled for a brief moment, though that was all the time he had to retrieve it and take look around before “chaos” became the new normal in the courtyard. As the many Team Star Grunts and their seemingly countless Pokemon went down one after another, the huge machine in the middle of the courtyard began to attack. Hearing Sub’s call for aid from himself, Deo and Amber, he nodded and released one of is Pokemon: Cadenza. “I need you using Telekinesis and grabbing as many of these kids as you can get out of that thing’s range!” He urged the Shedinja. The Shed Shell Pokemon gave a full-body nod as it bobbed in place and it’s halo began to give off a soft blue glow as psionic energy began to emit from it, grabbing Team Star Grunts and students alike that were being left in the wake of the Starmobile’s attack, grabbing faster as it grew to immense proportions and hauling them back toward where the Channeler was standing on the sidelines and watching.

“Get out of the danger zone!” He called out as Cadenza dropped them near him one by one, directing them all back toward the building. “Unless you plan to help take this thing down, get out of the school ASAP!” He urged them, hearing Tsuki’s call to the student body in an effort to rally the bravest among them. “If you plan to help, stay back and let Snagem take the front line!”

Several students out of those they’d snatched from the jaws of death itself at that massive vehicle’s wheels turned right back to face it once they were on their feet and more aware of the situation and began to throw Pokeballs into the fray with their own Pokemon coming to the aid of the Snagems.

When the Thunder came down and the Chi Converter he could now sense doing it’s work went haywire, he got a wild idea. Crystal’s appearance actually made it an even better idea, at that, considering the machine seemed like it was sapping her energy and its type had changed to match hers for the moment. “Cadenza, watch my back!” He called to his partner, releasing another of his Pokemon as the Shedinja returned to his side. Watching as Sub called out his own Gigantamax Pokemon and began to scrap with the colossal Starmobile, he jumped onto Entr’Acte’s back, the Aegislash laying flat as he had been taught by now to do. “Get me in the air over that thing! I think I can finish off that chi converter with one of our moves right now but we need to get it while there’s an opening!” He instructed Entr’Acte. Cadenza latched onto Odd’s back like a backpack as the sentient sword raced through the air with the Channeler on its back. The others would likely see Odd and Entr’Acte dodging and weaving around the spray of attacks coming after the Starmobile with Odd conjuring silver rings of energy around the trio with his Guardian Halo as needed to block attacks they couldn’t dodge or to redirect ones that were poorly aimed by deflecting them back toward the huge mechanism of a Pokemon.

Once Entr’Acte had managed to get Odd high into to see what was happening, the Channeler conjured a spear of solid Ghost energy in his hand via his bond with the Aegislash and jumped off. “Get out of the way if you want to live!” He screamed to Tristan as he crashed toward the Starmobile, Devil Whisper held high as he came down with every intent to plunge the spiritual construct straight through the Chi Converter upon landing. He had missed the mega evolved teenager’s arrival amidst the hectic events that lead to this moment. If Tristen failed to destroy the device before his arrival or back away quickly enough, Cadenza would use Telekinesis to pull the hybrid behind Odd at the last moment, intending to use his Wonder Guard to protect him from the potential explosion. With the device channeling such a large amount of Psychic Energy right now, Odd was certain the concentrated Ghost energy of his attack would seriously hurt the thing if not being enough to outright destroy it in its current state.

Reno would give a small fist pump as he saw the targeted assault land and cripple the Starmobile's ability to reliably aim itself. And with Leslie coming up behind to eliminate it being able to drive itself forward and Crystal landing on the top deck of the thing to take out its controller, this seemed to be about wrapped up in time for Reno to question about the weird guy who is whispering in Eri's mind. Y'know, before the Chi Converter got sent into maximum overdrive and began to devour the energy of the nearest source of major energy nearby. That certainly killed the vibe of inevitable victor and instead replaced it with the dawning realization that the Indigo League really needed to have done a better job keeping this tech under lock and key. Before he got too far in thinking about a plan to detain the great monstrosity for the others to bring down, a now abominably large Grimmsnarl would erupt from behind the hotwired together barricade to bind the entire entity down for the moment.

Taking a note as the machine began to lose focus on drawing in Psychic energy, Reno would feel a little torn on whether he could be more effective attempting to take out the Chi Converter or clearing out the one main source of energy that was still nearby (and also the leader that he was pretty sure he had seen her catch). Thankfully, seeing a very Mega Evolved Tristen send himself flying onto the top deck of the Starmobile made it very easy to determine his way forward. Disappearing in a burst of pink, Reno would teleport himself beside Crystal and Eri. "Now, I enjoy a giant robot monstrosity as much as the next person but lets not be here when it blows up. Sound good?" Reno told the pair, taking the opportunity to place his hands onto the two women. And before they could get any chance to respond, they would all have a slight pink glow for a second before another burst of pink sent Reno, Crystal, and Eri onto the rooftop alongside his mostly recovered Alakazam and where his Metagross had returned after deducing that staying near the giant cat robot was not going to benefit anyone.

Giving a second to make sure everyone had their feet underneath them, Reno would direct his gaze over to Eri. "Okay, miss. May I ask why exactly we're evil to you guys? I know we didn't ingratitate ourselves after that incident in the port but I thought we had established ourselves in better standing than this."

----

Seeing the bevy of Snagems already hard at work on the taking out the chi converter plan, Leslie would look towards Brian before a smile crept across her face. "Y'know, we could send another person at the chi converter. But what if you instead launched me at full force towards that giant Revaroom that seems to be running this thing? I'm really sure that I can make that thing regret life and being so easily hit." Leslie grinned, eyes locked straight onto the singular eye of the Steel/Poison type.

Tsuki the Lunar Wind

Newbie Noob

PostPosted: Sat Nov 23, 2024 9:40 pm

"Villains...? Eri, you're attacking school campus and I think kidnapping people? And trying to run them over with a car? That's at least a lot of attempted murdering you're doing!" Tsuki called out, taken aback by the Star Admin's accusation. Of course, what he said DEFINITELY fell on deaf ears once the chi converter she was standing next to exploded from the stray Thunder and sent the girl flying. He shut his eyes for a moment, only peeking once he he had gotten back up. Safe, with Crystal. Safe. With Crystal. And the chi converter.

"Oh @##%."

When the Starmobile grew, and took on Solgaleo charicteristics, Tsuki looked back to Baja and took a step back. This was out of their wheelhouse now. A normal battle, against a maybe a bigger Revavroom? Yeah, that seemed reasonable, if difficult. This? The trainer looked around to see the students he had rallied suddenly in the fight, doing their part to give the Snagems the space to focus on the real danger. No. No, he couldn't just back down now that they were here. Even if he was one person, the academy students were counting on him to be an example against terrible odds, and the odds were ABSOLUTELY terrible.

Okay, Tsuki assessed what needed to be done. That chi converter needed to be taken out and no doubt they had the manpower and mobility to do that. "We need to keep it distracted..." He muttered, knowing that the Revavroom would have no qualms attacking anyone that made a move for the converter. They needed targets, and while the Grimmsnarl was probably enough, it was a fairy up against a steel titan without backup.

And Tsuki DID have a Titan of his own. "You did great, Baja. Now here's hoping this one doesn't @##% me over again. Rowena, go! Use Whirlwind!" He said, swapping out his Blastoise for the Titan Bombirdier. Ten feet tall, and with the wingspan of several men, the Bombirdier took to the sky like a living shadow.

"Eyes on us bucko!" Tsuki yelled, his Titan Bombirdier whipping up a storm to match the chaos of an already set up Rain Dance. All she had to do was obscure the thing's vision and hopefully the others would be able to sneak past it's defenses. Plus: she was a dark type too! Hopefully that'd help against anything weird it may have absorbed from Crystal.

Crystal was preparing herself to get into a Pokémon battle with Eri, judging by her stance, but then the chi converter was targeted by a Thunder attack. The Pokéball she was holding was quickly placed back on her belt, catching the girl when she went flying from the chi converter exploding, only taking a couple steps back to arrest the momentum some. “Hey, are you ok- Oh. That’s not good,” she muttered, ears lying down flat as the hybrid realized that it wasn’t quite taken out. Almost as soon as she finished saying that, pain began roaring through her body as her own energy was being drained. “Gaaaaah!” The hybrid would lock herself up on instinct, just trying to keep herself standing, which would initially keep Eri trapped in Crystal’s grip.

‘Kairos! I need you over here! Get this girl out of here,’ Crystal would mentally shout to her Sigilyph, the odd avian flying over to them. Before he could do anything, though, Reno would show up and get them both out, with Sigilyph following them over to where Reno decided to drop them off. She’d manage to let go of Eri enough before she let herself fall to her knees, putting a hand to her head. “Light, that did not feel great… Thanks Reno. …Again, actually.” The realization that Reno almost certainly saved her life again did not fly past her. “That turned into a bad idea.”
______

Aile looked around after sitting up from the abrupt landing looking at where they were. There was nothing but sky around them, making her wonder. It seemed… too open. Closing her eyes again and focusing on the earth beneath them would give her a start. “How the hell? We’re either in the air, or the Fairy Realm shrunk since the last time we’ve been here,” Aile exclaimed with a start, opening her eyes wide. The woman would quickly stand up, grabbing an old, beat up Pokéball in her hand and looking around. “Are there normally floating hunks of earth in the Fairy Realm? Also, looks like there’s some tracks. Unless there’s a better idea, let’s follow them.” this time, she’d wait for Aden to move as well before following the path. Being in a place where physics apparently didn’t want to work as usual, she felt it more important to stick with Aden now.

Brian watched as both Tristen and Odd went after the chi converter, rendering his previous question moot. Hearing Leslie's suggestion, however, made him grin at the idea. "One pink missile, coming right up," he said, then looked at Firebrand, who was standing next to him. "Think ye can pull off a throw like that?" The Magmortar looked from Leslie to the Starmobile and back, then nodded, moving forward to pick up the smaller hybrid in his cannons. He was careful not to burn her as he began to spin, getting faster and faster. When he reached the apex of his spin, the Magmortar released Leslie straight at the eye of the Starmobile. Hopefully, they could pull this off and put that thing down.

Leslie would watch the Magmotar as it began to approach, already figuring out how best to aid in this throw to send her flying at the Starmobile's eyeball. Which she quickly concluded was doing a quick bit of weight reduction. Raising her hammer above her head in an axe handle grip, she hurled the bludgeon into the air along what she hoped her trajectory would be. And even as she was plucked off of the ground and began to spun by the Magmortar building momentum, her eyes remained locked onto her precious hammer even as it began to slow and begin its descent back to the ground.

And as her nerves began to grow restless, the thought that she might not actually reach the hammer before it began to gain too much downward momentum, she was released with an almighty throw towards the Revaroom eyeball. And as she began to draw closer to her hammer, a thought crossed her mind: the Magmortar wasn't the only one who could use the benefit of spinning for extra momentum. So instead of reaching with both hands, she reached with only one towards the handle. And as she felt it land in her palm, her grip would tighten like a vice on the implement as she swung her other arm around her body to try and use as much weight and speed as she could to transfer the hammer's downward momentum into a spin. And as all of the forces began to take over, Leslie would shift from being a pink missile that was directly aimed at the eye to a pink-glowing tornado that was still aimed squarely for the Starmobile's eye. "HEY, UGLY! LETS PLAY!" She bellowed, her Play Rough-empowered hammer ready to come in like a train wreck.

Fairy Realm

Aden wanted to give a sigh of relief when nothing initially happened, but it wasn't long before the telltale tug came along. A tug that, with it, came a wave of comfort. Safety. He knew the feeling decently enough, seeing the mushrooms around the fairy ring- and the one he'd plucked- starting to glow and give the room an extra bit of illumination as the light worked its way across the circle. The pull- rather, call- of the realm became harder for him to ignore, his body moving into the circle both in a response he didn't want to have to it and because there was no way he was letting Aile just go into a potential trap on her own. As soon as the cicle was completely aglow, his decision wouldn't have mattered. The pull turned into more of a bear hug once the floor gave way, sending both of them tumbling down on a trip within the realm.

The fall was surprisingly short, like jumping from one story of a building to another. Or, in this case, falling with no lick of style between them. Aden would be unceremoniously dumped onto the awaiting meadow with a thud, groaning from the impact. And again, a moment later, when he discovered his Umbreon hadn't been spared from the trip and landed on top of him. "You know," he muttered, trying to motion for Umbreon to get off before he could get to his feet, "the last time I went through one of those was a little easier on the landing." He'd look around and note how barren the meadow was, and then looked down to have a good guess as to why. Grass and flowers matted from footsteps, longer streaks and the more obvious tire tracks where those came from. The meadow certainly looked long enough for a vehicle to come in and out, and the fairy circle nearby was almost certainly connected to the one he and Aile just went through. He didn't have any doubt that they were in the realm; the pure energy he could sense put that one to rest. But it didn't feel as abundant, as lifelike.

"Anyway... we're in the realm, but I don't know where. Normally there'd be a bunch of Fairy Pokemon around, even more of a sense of life. Maybe run off from something so unexpected, but I'm not even sensing that. Wherever we've ended up, it's not near the Endless Woods or the Tree of Life... or at least, this isn't connected to it for some reason," he explained, looking at the fairy circle nearby again. "At least we seem to have a way back to the academy, but you're right, the tracks had to have come here from somewhere deeper. Luckily, the way time flows here should mean we can take our time to be thorough." He'd be quick to start down the tracks, Umbreon sticking close by as she didn't feel terribly keen on the environment she found herself in.

"With pleasure," Sol said, giving a quick, affirming nod. Though, he would take notice of the motions Sub made after the massive ball was tossed. A concerned look flashed across his face for a moment, but hopefully it was something that could be addressed later alongside the remarks from Eri; he wasn't as privvy to what was going on with Team Star, but something seemed off about what was being said... seeing several already at work on dealing with the chi converter, he'd direct his attention to the Starmobile and what he'd finally pick up on as the source. "...a Revavroom engine? And we didn't come up with the idea first?" He asked himself, before brandishing his blade- keeping it concealed now would've just been foolhardy. "Buzzwole, with me! We'll help deal with their engine!" The two would take off towards the Starmobile, hoping to aid in doing something about the Revavroom itself while the others had a handle elsewhere.
