I do spend a decent amount on GC on the weekly usermade RIGs and sometimes if an LQI comes out that I like. I fund the contests using plat from my MP mule that I use to buy and sell. I will buy on the exchange and sell on the MP for profit, but you just have to be careful what items you pick and check the trends...stay away from stuff that has recently inflated or already has a ton of listings. Getting my dailies helps too. Sometimes I will bump if I need a quick 5-10k for something I am short on. When you bump make sure you bump using those random generated paragraphs; that really increases the amount of plat you get.

Ah thank you! All super useful. Definitely without the GC spending cuts down my income a ton. Super appreciate all the work that goes into these prizes! Bummed I missed last week actually
