Aellys smiled softly. "Of course we can put a picture inside, Bry," he promised. "Whatever picture you'd like to put in. Maybe we could take one at the end of the night, with all our prizes." He smiled and brushed a hand through his son's hair. Bryony then rushed over to play another game and Aellys followed, doing his best but he only managed a trinket prize. He let Bryony pick for him and smiled at the blue bracelet with heart shaped beads that was handed up to him. "It's perfect, Bry, thank you," he said and gave him a quick hug.
Bryony giggled as he watched his dad try and mostly fail a game he had picked out. When Aellys told him to pick a prize for his dad Bryony nodded and perused what was there. In the end, he grabbed a bracelet that matched the blue of his father's jumper. "This one!" He smiled happily as Aellys slid it onto his wrist before taking his own turn. He grinned as he won a small plush, picking out one of the little fluff bug ones. It was super cute, and made Bryony wonder if he could find one as a pet.

Tamandani was having a good time watching the girls play silly games and have fun with each other. They were playing a partner game now where they had to find the right pieces of a puzzle in a small pile of pieces. As she watched them, she could see their differences, but also how well they could work together. She was really glad that she had made these two such a large part of her life. A flash of color fluttering near her face made her jerk back, but it was just one of the fluff bugs curious about the glowing lights on her face.
Crux giggled as she and Maylis tried to find the pieces of a puzzle. They had to be the first ones to finish in order to get their prizes and they were looking for purple and pink pieces in the shape of a heart. Crux was quickly pushing through and discarding pieces, excited and having far too much fun with this. When they won, she cheered and giggled some more. Their prizes were one familiar and one plushie. Maylis let Crux take the purple nezubat and was happy to choose a pink fluff bug plush for her prize. "What's next?" the hybrid asked as she bounced happily back to Tamandani.

Maylis was having a lot of fun, even if Crux was messing up her neat piles of pieces. The purple imp had to keep going through Crux's discards and ending up finding all four pieces where her friend had missed them. "Silly," she giggled as she held up their finished puzzle. She saw Crux's eyes widen at their prizes and knew that she would love the nezubat, so Maylis took the pink plushie and was quite happy to squish it in a hug. As they made their way back to Tamandani, she was grinning and wondering what else they could do.
Morginn was going through all the various booths, looking for the ones that weren't some sort of game or refreshment stall. There were a couple tables that had just the prizes that were being handed out, and a few crafters peddling some seasonal wares. It was at one of the booths where he spotted some very pretty-looking arrows. They weren't real or anything and couldn't do any damage, but the symbolism was still there. There was a spot on the arrow where you could tie a message. It strongly appealed to the romanctic on Morginn, though there wasn't anyone he was sweet on currently. He bought one anyway, to keep for the future.
Topaz had taken a break for some refreshments. It was still winter, but there were lots of different kinds of fruit drinks to be found besides just apple. Not that there was anything wrong with apple; Topaz was quite fond of cider. There were also plenty of hand foods. She stopped at one shop that sold tea and dango and decided to sit down to eat her treat. There was a muffled thudding sound, and suddenly more trinkets came flying through the air. Topaz ducked and managed to avoid most of them, though she felt something smack into one of her horns. She reached up and pulled a bracelet off her horn. She stared at it in slight bemusement, then started laughing aloud. If whoever shot that only knew what had happened!
Jaden watched as the fluffbugs seemed to settle down. As they went over to one of the bright flowers that Leto kept in the room, and glancing back at the roses, Jaden suddenly remembered something. "Ah," he exclaimed softly, then went over to his desk to retrieve a blue rose. He'd gotten it earlier in the day, before he'd even gone outside, from someone passing them out in the halls. He'd come back to put it in his room so it wouldn't get damaged, and he'd forgotten. He placed it in the little planter on his desk, which was almost too small for it, then looked back to Leto.
"Should we try to see if someone has a vase we can use for the flowers," he suggested. Leto was looking pretty tired of holding up the giant bouquet.
Freddy was trying to decide what kind of game he might like to play next, but there was also the very distracting smells of food in the air. He had his candy, but that wasn't nearly enough to satisfy the little hunger demon that seemed to wake up in his belly. He followed his nose to a stand that sold odd little dumpling things on sticks and bought one to eat. They had odd colors and didn't taste like he'd expected, but they were still good!
There was a muffled thump noise, then suddenly it was raining plushies and trinkets. Freddy got hit with a nezubat bat plushie square on the top of the head. He bent to pick it up, grateful they were so soft and fluffy. Over at a little seating area a Baphomet pulled a bracelet off her horns and started laughing. Freddy grinned. That must have been one heck of a shot!
Alyssum's eyes widened a little in surprise when another kid appeared out of nowhere and midair swatted some flowers. They'd instantly knelt down to poke at the flowers, giving Alyssum a chance to look them over. Their hair was a very bright color, and contrasted with the greatly color of their sweater. She wasn't positive but they looked like....Demon? The tail was pretty distinctive, though lots of people around seemed to sport horns. The ears were kind of odd though. Alyssum flicked her own ears up and then down. They seemed to be finished looking at whatever it was (she couldn't see at this angle, then stood up to explain their sudden appearance. Ah, so that's what it was about. She'd seen a lot of things flying through the air at the festival, but she'd been keeping mostly to the sidelines she she hadn't worried about it.
As if the flowers were a sign of things to come though, right at that moment Alyssum noticed a plushie arching through the air on course for the kid she as pretty sure was a Demon. Speaking was hard for her and Bakenekos in general were built more for agility than strength; that was especially true for Alyssum, who was a bit short for her age and had delicate features. She quickly side-stepped while moving forward and jumping a little, and managed to get the plushie before it could connect with the probably-a-Demon kid. They stood there, her holding a plushie (she'd dropped her other plushie in the process) while he had a little fluffbug crawling along his arm. The humor of the situation caused the smallest of smiles to cross her face.

Rowan was still wandering through the festival. They should probably have tried a game or something, but nothing really called out to them specifically. They were too busy dodging all the chaos going on. What was it about festivals that made adults act like hyper children?
A woman carrying an armful of books intruded on Rowan's thoughts. She hailed him, then looked down at him with a smile. "See any you want," she asked. Rowan peered at the stack, then selected a dark blue book that looked like it could be interesting. The lady handed it to him with a smile, then continued on. Well, at least one adult didn't seem taken in by the madness.
Liatris yawned, and he retreated to a corner with a snack to take a quick break before he played more games. He was having so much fun, but he didn't think that he was going to get to do everything. He didn't even think that the older kids would be able to do everything.
He smiled, and then ate his apple slices. He was focused so much on them that when a Vespercat came up to him, he didn't notice until it was practically sitting in his lap. "Hi, kitty."
It meowed at him, pushing it's head up against his hand until the boy started to pet it. "You're a sweetheart, aren't you. Do you want to stay with me?" It answered by curling up in his lap, and the boy smiled again. "I'll do my best to take care of you."
With baron keeping him company, Allumin edged away from the game booths. While he considered playing another game, he found himself watching the kids in the area. Some were giving gifts to others. He felt awkward with his small hoard. The pang of lonliness struck home a bit harder. He had a sack of gifts and no one to give them to. He needed to make a few friends. Baron nudged his neck suddenly, and Allumin managed a weak smile. Maybe he had made a friend after all?
