Gliders...? He wasn't familiar with gliders. Curious, he walked over to one of them and tried winding it up. Except the machinery made some funky sounds. That...probably wasn't right.

Ah! There was a crank that said "launcher." That sounded like what she wanted to do!
After a bit of cranking, the wind was through her hair and she was in the SKY! "Ah! Wow!" The goddesses were amazing for having created something so beautiful as the sky.

Ah, perhaps coming here was a wise choice? Flying a glider wasn't so bad. It was peaceful, actually. Was it Linswo, or was there a voice whispering things in his ear? Regardless, he calmly steered.

Suddenly, Vane went from feeling great to feeling terrified as he realized that the glider had somehow caught fire. He spiraled uncontrollably towards the water for a moment as he tried to put it out, only to realize almost too late that it wasn't really on fire. He managed to pull himself out of the dive, his courage a little shaken now.
Vaneda had wandered from the large cliffside now to the edge of another, this time with odd machines and such laying around. Curiously, she wandered over to one, touching it. It seemed to say something to her about flying, perhaps if she wanted...Oh and there was Islands out there! She turned her head from the Islands to the machine and back.
Well...It's not like she had much else to do so...
Unfortunately she had no idea how to work the machine so she ended up staring at it. Willing it to work.

He felt a bit shaky as the fog grew thicker. His grip on the glider tightened. Linswo thought to himself--one mistake and it was all over...

His brush with crashing had left Vane significantly less confidant than he had been when he had started this journey. He was no longer sure of success--no longer sure of anything, really. Would the glider hold? Would he be able to pilot it, or would he sail away into nothingness? He held himself still, sure that if he moved at all, he would crash.
Igny looked around, confused as to who was speaking. Then she saw them. Countless helmets, goggles, weapons- Pilots.
They kept whispering the one word. Down.
So she obeyed, confused as to what was going on.

Vane became even more anxious as even the water dropped away, but his goal was in sight. He carefully turned the glider towards the largest of the floating islands, his way made difficult by wind and mist.
