"People don't like to think beyond what they can see," Merida said with a small shrug. "Even ones like us, I am sad to say." Seeing Constance and Cassandra happy with their mates had Merida thinking again about her inability to keep one. She couldn't help how she was, but it seemed most didn't like her because of that. She supposed she would end up an old lady with a bunch of cats. ------ Constance eyed Merrick with appreciation as his physical body changed as well as the timbre of his voice. He never ceased to amaze her. She reveled in the fact that he was hers, and hers alone. "Yes, they were very fortunate indeed." She said softly as she ran her hands lightly over his arms. ------ "Oh there is nothing wrong with it," Cassandra said as she glanced over at Lorcan. "In fact, I love it." She smiled at him as they walked.

Kasumi tilted her head thoughtfully. "Don't worry, you'll find someone... just like I will after Damon killed Merrick's father," she said quietly. She knew from the pain in her voice that Merida would likely realize that Damon had done the deed in front of her.

Merrick shivered slightly, feeling his boxers stretch, creaking slightly as it became rather obvious what her touch was doing.

Lorcán smiled slightly, tilting his head as he walked towards the nearby eastern gate and opened it to see Merida and Kasumi on the other side. He cocked his head, frowning slightly as he noticed a tuft of brownish gray fur caught in the door before he tugged it out. Why do I get a bad feeling about this? he thought. Martha, meanwhile, was going around the Abbey, since Horty was missing as was Fenna and Springald. She had noticed Saro and Bragoon leaving apparently to go to Loamhedge.

Merida looked over at Kasumi with slightly narrowed eyes. Damon and his father had caused everyone so much pain. Both Merrick and Constance had grown up without knowing either of their parents. "Don't worry Kasumi. Nasty little boys such as Damon always get what's coming to them. I just hope I am there to see it."~~~~~ Constance grinned at Merrick, some hair falling lightly over her face. "So nobody comes here, huh? Good thing too." She leaned up and kissed him gently. ~~~~~ Cassandra smiled when she saw Merida and Kasumi. Obviously everything was okay with Constance and Merrick...and she was glad. She turned to say something to Lorcan, and that's when she saw him pull a tuft of fur from the door. She frowned slightly. "I wonder whose that is."

Kasumi tilted her head. "I would eat him in my beast form, but most likely I'd end up with severe indigestion," she muttered as the gate opened to reveal Lorcan on the other side. She inhaled slowly before frowning, her enhanced senses picking up on three new scents that weren't in this location before; unlike Lorcan, she recognized one of the scents. "Foolish youth," she whispered as she realized Horty had slipped away somewhere.

Merrick let his hand lightly trail up her arm to her shoulder as he felt his body tighten down low. A slight flicker of silvery flame flickered down his back for a second, the birthmark of his demonic grandfather with the kanji ring around it materializing for an instant though his sword did not materialize. He could feel and hear the slight pops of the cotton of his boxers giving way as his arousal became more obvious.

Lorcán tilted his head. "I don't know, but if I'm right, we may know sooner rather than later," he said to Cassandra, not noticing Kasumi staring at the tuft of fur in his hand.

Merida snorted slightly and shook her head. "Slight indigestion? I think more along the lines of very severe." She followed Kasumi's gaze and saw Lorcan and Cassandra. She noticed that Lorcan was holding something in his hands. "Why do I have the feeling that things are about to get interesting?..Again?"Cassandra nodded and watched as Kasumi stared at the fur in Lorcan's hand. "Come on, let's see what they think." She nodded in the other two women's direction. ~~~~~ Constance wrapped her arms around Merrick's neck, pulling herself closer to him. She had noticed his arousal earlier, but now it was more evident with their bodies pressing together.

Kasumi tilted her head. "When is life boring? Besides, life isn't that fun if it's dull," she said with a smile. She wasn't surprised when Naruto dropped down on the other side of the wall, landing behind Lorcan.

Merrick exhaled as he felt his hips shifting subtly against Constance's. He knew when Constance did things like this, he became much like a kitten: helpless in her hands and craving more.

Lorcán looked up and noticed Kasumi as he heard feet land behind him as he jumped slightly, seeing an unfamiliar blond guy behind him as he half turned. He was surprised to see the same unusual Dōjutsu he had in the blond's eyes. "What do you think of this?" he said carefully.

Kaosujin Ryu whew...she is trying to get into everything today!...okay..finally got something down! Merida corrected with a small chuckle and shake of her head. Her grin widened when she saw Lorcan jump as Naruto landed behind him. Cassandra looked over her shoulder at the newcomer and smiled a little. She recognized him as Kasumi's brother. She had met him several times before. She crossed her arms over her chest as she tried to think about where the fur had come from. And then something flickered across her mind. Hadn't some of the residents here said something about going to a abbey who had no residents? "What if those kids went to that abbey they were talking about? The one that Martha is from?"~~~ Constance pulled back slightly from Merrick, grinning lazily at him. "Come, let's lay on the beach," she said softly.

Kasumi tilted her head before her eyes narrowed. "And if I'm right, then in all likelihood it is very possible that they may not have prepared for a long trip," she said thoughtfully. She had judged Horty to be the kind to act before thinking. Naruto cocked his head, his eyes narrowing fractionally. "It's definitely that wheelchair bound haremaid's brother, the signature is the same," he said grimly.

Merrick tilted his head, a faint half smile on his face. He shivered slightly, but managed to control his more bestial urges. "Sounds like a good idea," he said quietly.

Lorcán cocked his head. "If you're right, then most likely they prepared hastily and therefore likely didn't think ahead," he said carefully.

"Aye, they probably didn't think ahead to what they would need," Merida said with a nod. "They are young. And younglings don't tend to think ahead." She sighed and shook her head. "Then we had better go after them before they get themselves into trouble," Cassandra said slowly as she looked around. "I don't want any of them to get hurt." She ran her hands through her hair. ~~~~ Constance chuckled softly as she pulled Merrick down next to her on the beach. She touched his cheek gently, staring at him. "Every moment I am with you...I am so grateful. I am grateful that Alicia was in our area, and that you helped her. Otherwise we may not have met when we did."

Kasumi sighed. "Though it may be difficult to find what path they took; logically, they'd either go by the main path we took, or perhaps one closer to a water source. I have the feeling, however, that they did neither which would make tracking them harder," she said thoughtfully.

Merrick shifted into a kneeling position, not noticing his ears twitched slightly as they picked up on distant sounds. "We would have, I'm sure, though it might have taken more time and perhaps a far easier situation," he said with a shrug.

Lorcán sighed. "With our luck, it may end up that they mature faster than many here, I'm sure," he said quietly. He carefully didn't say that 'with their help they'd survive to mature more', however.

"We could always try splitting up," Merida suggested. "That might be the easiest way."Cassandra was quiet for a moment, her head tilted to the side as she was thinking. "Martha," she said suddenly. "She may know which way they would have taken." She looked around at the others. Merida rolled her eyes. "Now why didn't I think of that?"~~~~~ Constance smiled at him. "Perhaps, but I am still glad we met when we did. I don't think I could have done any of this without you." She shrugged a little. "Oh I know I would have had the others...but with you it's different."

Kasumi tilted her head. "I wouldn't; we would have difficulty contacting one another subtly in that situation if something happened," she said quietly.

Merrick chuckled. "You could have, I'm sure; in many ways, we both strengthen and ground one another, if you think about it," he said idly.

Lorcán tilted his head with interest. "Perhaps she would, but somehow, I have a strong feeling she may not know any more than we do," he said wryly.

"It was just a suggestion," Merida said with a shrug of her shoulders. She listened as Cassandra suggested asking the wheelchair bound Martha, and Lorcan saying she might not know anymore than them. "Maybe, maybe not," she said as she looked around at everyone. "But she may know how to get to the abandoned Abbey.""So let's find Martha so she can point us in the direction of the Abbey," Cassandra said with a nod. ~~~~~ Constance smiled and nodded. "Maybe I could have, but it's easier with you. We do strengthen each other. I truly believe we were fated to be together." She grasped his shoulders lightly in her hand. "I think that's enough talk." Constance grinned at him.

Naruto cocked his head, his gaze scanning around thoughtfully. "She's in the Great Hall where we ate," he said quietly.

Kaosujin Ryu damn weather change! I am sick again... Merida said with a nod as she turned in the direction of the Great Hall. She didn't wait for them to join her. She really hoped those young ones weren't getting themselves into any trouble. Cassandra chuckled as she watched Merida taking off. She could tell the other woman was worried about the people here. She glanced at Lorcan and nodded a little as she followed after Merida. ~~~~~
"Hmm, I think you know," Constance said softly as she pulled him towards her, kissing him.
