Mirai winced as she tried to build up energy to block the attack Herald sent but then Texas blocked the attack. She stared in slight surprise and was about to say something but then fell on her knees again as another wave of pain hit her.
While everything had descended into chaos around him, Atticus would separate from the group, still grieving the loss of his Father. As his tears flowed, Atticus' body began to tremble and he would clench his hands tightly together, forming fists. Suddenly and without an ounce of hesitation, Atticus released his full power right then in there. His muscles bulged as his hair grew more spiky and defined. His eyes glowed golden and his soul wavelength became unstable. Atticus' finger nails grew longer and sharp as his teeth became more canine-like in nature. Overall all, his appearance became one of a demon. Letting out a mournful wail, Atticus would vanish in a streak of black lightning, similar to how Divine had arrived on the field. Seconds later, Atticus would appear in front of Mirai and Texas, facing Herald head on, with his eyes still full of tears. It appears that Atticus had finally let his emotions get the best of him and succumbed to his sorrow and rage, both of which he would take out on one person he had wanted to kill, which was Herald. Pointing his index finger up at the beast, Atticus charged probably his most deadly attack. Forming black energy into a sphere, Atticus fired it point blank range at Herald.
{Out...Of....Character --- I leave for class and then come back to all these posts, lol, Also, look at the spoiler for details on my technique I just used.}
{Techniques/Abilities Used}
Dark Overdrive: The power represents the very aspect of darkness and death, complete and total annihilation is what the opponent has to look forward to if they are caught in this sphere of darkness. When Atticus fires the pitch-black beam, either in human form or weapon form, his entire body bristles with dark energy before it all condenses it self upon his index finger; or in weapon form, the tip of his blade. When enough energy is built, the dark sphere lunges towards its prey, tearing and ripping away any and all sources of light or any other images of hope out of its prey's perception. When contact is made, a mighty explosion occurs; tearing the unfortunate victim apart. This attack will leave even the most mighty of opponents bleeding and shredded. [Can be used 5 times per battle, but with a cool-down period of 3 posts.]
Shira clenched her teeth as Atticus seemed to have snapped. She ran at him when she saw the attack but was too late to really do anything for Herald. She ran up to Atticus before wrapping her arms around him without hesitation "Atticus, I'm sorry." she told him calmly. "Please stop this... I can't imagine what you could be feeling right now but starting fights isn't the right way to cope with this." she told him.
After his attack had already been launched, Atticus could feel someone come up behind him and wrap their arms around his waist. As this happened, Atticus would look back at the person, his eyes void of any emotion. If it had not been Shira, more than likely, Atticus would have struck out at the person, intending to kill them as well, but thankfully it was Shira. Hearing her, he would become somewhat relaxed, but the tears would continue to come, he, unlike Mirai spent centuries with Divine, they were close and fought alongside one another. Atticus had never felt so much pain and sorrow before, not even after losing his first partner. Lowering his head, Atticus trembled, trying his hardest to control himself and hold back the tears, "Shira" he muttered in such a weak and depressed voice.

Ashlyn looked over at Noira as she spoke. It seemed like they were done here as Noira began to leave. She walked away opening a portal that lead back to the realm of darkness. Chilia followed suit, leaving with Noira towards the portal. Ashlyn however watched as Mirai struggled in pain on the ground. Even though she was well protected from Herald she was still suffering great pain. Ashlyn could sense her soul that dwelled within Mirai. It wavered and struggled to keep together, afflicted by scars and tears that were from a source unknown to Ashlyn. Curiously she floated in the opposite direction of her comrades. "I'll be right along Noira," Ashlyn said, not wanting to waste Noira's time waiting for her. As she got closer to Mirai she let herself land lightly, touching down to the ground in a soft stride.
Obviously there was a formidable amount of people surrounding the young witch making it a real hazard for Ashlyn to talk with Mirai out straight. Walking up to the witch that was doubled over on the ground she squatted down, setting her hand on her knees. "Darling you seem to be falling apart inside," Ashlyn said, quite genuinely it seemed as she reached out a hand for Mirai to grasp. "May I?" Ashlyn asked Mirai, offering assistance so that she wouldn't end up dying on the ground while her allies tried desperately to defend her. Ashlyn was quite the mender of souls, and it would be easy for her to patch Mirai's soul back together long enough to make it back to the camp for medical attention.
I will carry your soul with me, forever, and always.
Shira continued holding on to Atticus, squeezing him slightly "It will all be alright. It would be right to let it out though." she told him calmly. If anything, keeping whatever Atticus felt would only make things worse for him in the end.

Mirai grimaced as she knelt on the ground in pain still. She heard someone then and glanced up to see one of the witches that was with Noira. Her eyes turned demonic for a moment but quickly receded back to a very weak gaze as her soul continued to struggle. One hand quickly grabbed hers in response. She didn't have much of a choice in the moment. She wasn't so sure how long she would last before they would get to the refuge camp and any it of assistance helped.
Despite what Shira said, Atticus knew that for him, showing such emotions and being in such a pitiful state, would only disgrace Divine's legacy and tarnish his name. Sighing, Atticus did his best to gain control of his emotions once more. As he did this, he would see a witch approaching Mirai, offering her hand out to her. Removing Shira's arms from around him, Atticus would make his way over to Mirai. Now that Divine was gone, he would have to step up and protect the things he held dear, meaning Mirai, Charlotte and the baby. "Who are you and what do you want with my sister?" he asked the witch, looking on as Mirai grabbed her hand.

"Whether it may be Demon, Shinigami, or Human..."
Noira glanced towards Ashlyn "Fine... hurry it up though. This portal won't last forever." she said before turning and walking into the portal ((Exit))
__________________________________________________________________ Chilia glanced at the fighting only to see it stop..for now at least "they will never stand up to a force the more they fight" she muttered turning around and entering the portal EXIT
Ashlyn smiled as Mirai took a hold of her hand. "That's a good girl. Now this will hurt but you'll feel a lot better in a moment," Ashlyn said as a pink glow of energy could be seen within the space of the clasped hands between Ashlyn and Mirai. Ashlyn injected a fair amount of her own soul wavelength into Mirai, which she would feel travel painfully up her arm and into her chest. Once the excess energy reached her soul it began to spin itself around Mirai's soul and fill in where the scars had opened, patching them like paper mache and stabilizing her soul. As Mirai's soul adapted to the sudden change of energy she would feel a soothing sensation. Ashlyn then pulled her hand away from Mirai slowly, setting it back on her knee. "There all done," she said as she stood up, dusting herself off a bit.
Her attention then snapped abruptly to Atticus as he approached her. At first she clenched her fists, ready to defend herself, but he stopped in front of her, questioning Ashlyn's motives. Ashlyn looked down at Mirai as she was recovering. "I don't want anything from this little one per say," Ashlyn said as she looked up and gazed Atticus in the eyes. She could see that he had been crying recently as his eyes were a little puffy. She assumed that he took Divine's death harder than Mirai did. "As for who I am, you can just refer to me as Ashe," she said, lifting her hand and setting it between them as if Atticus was supposed to take it. "Enchante," she said as jokingly as she quickly retracted her hand.
She then looked back at the dark portal that lead to realm of darkness. Ashlyn knew it wouldn't last long so she looked back at Atticus, a small smile on her face as if saying that everything was okay. "I have to go now, but send Charlotte my regards and let her know that I would like a word with her," Ashlyn said as she took a few steps back and then turned on her heels. She walked towards the black portal, waving her hand behind her as if saying good-bye to the group. As she did this the mannequins began to file in around her, five more appearing from different places around the vicinity, joining the first two like body guards swarming around their queen.
I will carry your soul with me, forever, and always.

Mirai bit her lip as she felt the energy painfully pass through her. Eventually she felt some relief as what the witch did seemed to work. She knelt there, panting heavily as she recovered. It was still a good idea to get back to see Nurse Mortem though which she would do as soon as she was able to stand again. She still wasn't feeling too good after everything that had happened.
As the female witch told Atticus to call her Ashe, he would be weary of her intentions as it is known that she is a member of the Blackwings, but her attitude and appearance didn't seem to fit them. This, of course, caught him a little off guard. Not only did she seemingly help Mirai, but she also mentioned wanting to talk to Charlotte, just who was this strange woman, oddly enough, before Atticus could realize it, he had gotten a little red in the face. It was unknown if anyone was aware of this, but it wouldn't belong as Atticus shook it off and focused on Mirai. Looking down at her, he could not tell whether she was alright or not. He really didn't know what to say to her, as she didn't seem too bothered by Divine's death, like he had been. Looking away, Atticus offered his hand down at her, not really sure how to act.

Shira watched quietly, her soul perception was able to see what the witch was doing to Mirai. It didn't seem like she was harming her in any way. She glanced towards Atticus, suddenly seeing him red in the face. She frowned slightly before seeing the three Blackwings leave.

Mirai continued catching her breath before seeing something and looking up. She stared at Atticus' hand for a moment before taking it and managing to stand up. She let go of his hand shortly after and was about to dust herself off but then she saw the black blood on her clothes. She stopped and looked away silently, not saying anything or showing any sort of emotion so it was unknown as to how she really felt at this moment.
