*Shortstraw walked aone for a few moments and stopped at a thought entered his head. She needed a lession. When all this came to end... he would have to die... or come so close she would understand him. But he knew that wouldn't work. Finally he turned around as he found Soflora appear as a bat and shift to her other form. "Hellow shortstraw." She waved. He smerked, "Hey... think you can help me with somthing?" She looked to him, "sure i'll try." She smiled.
((Note a few of these posts will have Soflora, eve's side character. don't worry she's here with me and we are discussing what to put on here. XD just didn't want to open up a new tab and fight over the computer we will share the post for both characters.))

Richard wasn't surprised at her answer at first, then took his hood over his face a little further. "You fascinate me, my dear. How can you so convincingly put on a show every day?" Kiera eased up a little, but still held Hikari behind her. "With skill. And practice." Richard practically giggled. "I see. Now when does the masquerade end, though?" Kiera stood up a little straighter. "With your death." Richard tilted his head. "Aha. I see. And so. What will happen to you?" Kiera raised an eyebrow. "Why does it interest you? You'll be dead." Kiera could only see Richards grin. "Because you're my life's work, my dear. You can't kill me so easy." Kiera smiled. "Just watch me."

*shortstraw nodded* "I need to find keria... we need to protect her..." Soflora clapped, "I already saw her. She's in the marshes with that loaked man again." Shortstraw glared, "What..." He gulped, "s**t." He dashed forwords as she changed to a bat and followed mometns later he appeared to there left as Soflora landed on his shoulder. "You, i have a bone to pick with you..." he stopped givning some distance, "I challange you to a dule to the death. If your even a fighter. I dought you personaly could do anything." He replied he didn't fully knowwhat he was doing but it felt right. he started to make a new plan.

Kiera looked to Shortstraw, momentarily distracted. Then, to add to the group of people, Asher and Cyril where now there, Asher still eyeing Kiera with distrust. Kiera just about lost it. "Go away all of you! Just PISS OFF! This guy is my enemy and I'm sick of people trying to sort out my problems!" Hikari trembled a little behind Kiera, so Kiera shoved Hikari over to Asher and Cyril. Cyril caught her steadily and took her a few steps Back. Richard watched, Interested. "As comforting as that lament was. You're the one who dragged them into this." Kiera glared at him, and her eyes shimmered as she took a couple of steps closer. "No. You're the one who dragged them into this."

*Shortstraw went to step forword, but his runnin gocught up with his already damiged body as he fell to his knees. As such happened, Soflora turned into her real form and helped him up, "Shortstraw... be carful..." she helped him stand. Shortstraw then looked to keria, "Do you really want us to leave Keria? DO YOU?! Becuse I will, but you better have your a** back home by the end of the night. else i'm gone for good." he didn't really mean it, but he figured for once he would try a new tatic he hadn't yet. Putting there togtherness on the line. How would she react. Passing blame got them no where. He almost felt like keria never wanted them to help her int eh first place. he felt she wanted to be lost to them. Well now was that chance to really know where she would stand. Becuse he hardly could. Veria was even in trouble for helping her. Did she not care about that? She cared to protect everyone, yet she never wishes to be a team player. So far, her and shortstraw never acted togther as a team not once in a situation like this. What happend to protecting eachother?

((Ah for ******** sake I wrote a really Long paragraph and it deleted it all. ;____ wink )
Kiera turned slightly to Shortstraw, loosing the shimmer in her eyes. A flash of life sparked across her face and she suddenly exploded into a chorus of giggle fits. She brought her hand up to Cover one of her eyes. "Oh wow. You had such a scary look on your face shortstraw. I almost believed you. Don't be so naive." Richard hadn't seen this kind of behaviour before, He observed. Asher eyed her up carefully. Was this what she predicted? Kiera turned to Richard and put a finger on his chest. "And you. Talking to me all butch And up your own a**. You'll regret it later." She giggled again. "If you have a later." Asher hissed at her. "Kiera! Get a hold of yourself!" Kiera swung her head lazily to look at her. "What are you talking about? This is me. I'm the complete bane of sanity." She grinned like the cheshire cat, putting her hand into her jacket. Richard took a few steps Back. "Even perfection is secretly insane, it seems." Kiera pulled out a handgun and pointed it at Richards head. "Oh shutup." She fired the gun. However, shot it at Shortstraw instead.

*Shortstraw took the shot. He didn't dodge, he didn't even flinch. He gave a nod. His body was already weak as it was, now with the gunshot in his chest he he silently gave his nod and looked to Asher, "good luck." He whispered as he suddenly fell back, as Soflora cought him alttle scared. "Shortstraw? Freind wake up..."

Asher froze in her place, as did Cyril and even Richard. What just happened. Asher could barely conjure up the courage to speak. Asher coughed out her trembling. "You weren't lying. KIERA YOU ******** IDIOT." Cyril's eyes were stuck wide. Richard opened his mouth to speak, but no words came out. Kiera smiled, then tossed the gun aside. "Good, that's a load off." Asher held her jaw so tight, she began shaking, then changed into full demon form, and charged at Kiera. Kiera dodged, holding out an imaginary red cape. "Olay~!" Asher spun on her heel, and growled at her. "Why the hell would you do that to him. You're such a two-faced a**!" Kiera brought a finger up to her mouth. "Shhhh. It's a secret." Asher still trembled. Richard began laughing. "Ah, my girl is even more interesting than I knew about." Kiera looked to Richard with a frown. "Don't you get cocky again now, you're next." Cyril made his way over to Shortstraw and Soflora, knelling down to him and looking to him blankly. "I'm sorry." Kiera continued to giggle, putting her hand back over her eye. "You're all so stupid. Honestly. How could you ever match up to a mind like mine? Now I have half of my soul back and none of you can do anything about it~" Asher bit back some acid-ridden spit. "You bloody b***h."

*Shortstraw looked to Cyril with slow breaths. "Let her go... retreat... home..." He replied as he closed his eyes and breathed so slowly it looked like he might ave stopped any moment. Soflora looked to shortstraw, "No... freind... shortstraw?" She shook her head and looked to cyril fully of worry. "I though she was the love of his life. Whats going on i am vary confussed..."

Hikari was no longer stuck in the moment, she rushed over to Shortstraw, picked him up, and already started treatment as she ran away from the scene. Cyril looked back over to Kiera, then back to Soflora. "Yeah. She was." He shut his eyes tight. "It's just like that night." Cyril's eyes suddenly snapped open, as Kiera stood behind him, hanging over him, hands behind her back, chilling smile planted on her face. "Talking about me?" Cyril scurried back on his hands and knees, then turned to look at her. She smiled. "You're a nuisance, too. Can't be having you around here, liking me. Seducing me." She had the handgun behind her back again, and Richard looked like he was getting a kick out of watching Kiera do all these things. Kiera pointed the gun at Cyril, and fired. To her dismay, Asher stood in the way, eyes blazing, teeth seeping with blacked out blood. "No more pain. No more pain from you." Kiera pouted and put the gun in her belt. "You're no fun, kitty. Stop ruining my entertainment." Ashers growl lowered. "Why did you do it?" Cyril took his chance to grab Soflora's hand and run after Hikari and Shortstraw. Kiera almost shot him. She almost killed him. Again. Kiera's eyes shifted from golden orange to blood red, and she made a popping sound with her mouth, watching the other two flee over Asher's large bony shoulder. "I have no weaknesses, silly. Wasn't that what it's about from the start? Because of Shortstraws foolishness he's weak and now I'm at the height of my power. I'm just lucky to have a guy like Richard to go through with all the nonsense. But now he has to die, too. He has no use to me any more."

*As shortstraw was with Hikari he looked to her, "I can't... do this anymore..." He whispered. He noticed the others also behind them. "The marshes... theres a cabin to the left... take us to the cabin... thats our home... was my home..." he whispered again spitting up some blood.*

Asher glared at Kiera in disgust. "You're the worst mortal I've ever come across. I hope you rot in hell with that abundance of weakness." Richard took a couple of steps back. This girl was crazy. He wasn't all too certain if he liked it all not, but he was suddenly scared. This girl really was crazy. Asher never took her eyes off her, even as she frowned, and poked Ashers skull. "Be interesting. Entertain me." A spark of genius flashed across Ashers mind, and she just turned around, starting to walk away. "No thanks." Kiera's face contorted. "What? No. Kitty come back. Entertain me! It's an order!" Asher turned her head to her, then spat some acid onto her foot. "You don't own me any more." As Asher left her, Kiera cocked her head in process. "No kitty. Asher. You can't leave me. Entertain me. Don't leave me. You can't leave me. I'll have to play by myself." Richard saw a kink in the Armour, and his eyes thinned. Kiera turned back to Richard, eyes inflamed with rage. "I guess it's just you and me, now. My little dolly." By the time Kiera was finished with him, the whole area was drenched with Richards blood. Grass, leaves. Everything.
Hikari found her way back to the cabin, brought Shortstraw down carefully, and instantly started operating. Cyril caught up soon after, hand still clasped with Sofloras. He was already reduced to some manly tears, and he stared at Shortstraw with a concerned expression. "Why didn't you take him to the bedroom?" Hikari sneezed. "Horrible operating conditions." Cyril watched in angst as Hikari got the bullet out, then started patching him up. "Hang in there, Shortstraw. I'll get you better."

*Shortstraw gave a nod, "It's not you i'm worryed aobut..." He smiled faintly and looked to Soflora and Cyril, "I... we all have to make our oh disitions right..." He asked. He was told cyril gave good advice. Meanwhile Soflora sat down ont he floor and watched Hikari heal him. She had never seem a operation before. But it was the smell of his blood alover him that made her drawn. She gulped and smiled, "Um... if you want i can clean up the wound when your done..." he replied just trying to be helpful and to stop herself from being drawn to the blood.*

Hikari nodded, and finally finished the stitching, standing up straight and stretching her back. "All right. When I move Shortstraw you can." Asher came through the door, back in cat form, still angry, still fuming. She was cussing quietly to herself, as she sat herself down in the living room. Cyril walked in after her. "What happn'd?" Asher stretched her jaw. "I left her alone with him." Cyril was slightly alarmed. "Wha? Why'd ya' do that?" Asher shut her eyes and settled on the couch. "She was all fired up. I expect that Richards innards are already hanging from branches." Cyril winced at the thoughts. "And what about Ki?" Asher didn't move. "She's letting off steam. I expect that was thoughts piled up over years of containment. Just like when she burned down your village. It's her way of... exertion. Since she's not creative like Veira, and can't exert all her hidden feelings into songs or drawings and such. Kiera finds.. alternatives." Cyril looked to the door. "Shouldn't somebody find 'er, then?" Asher opened one eye at him. "What. You're volunteering? It's your funeral." Cyril shook his head. "I'm too weak." Asher shrugged, and shut her eye again. "Well don't ask me to. I'll get smooshed with her like that. I'll wait until her fire dies down."

*Shortstraw ws slightly confussed, "Wait does that count?" He looked to Asher and Cyril. Then to Hikari. "Thankyou Hikari. I'm sorry you got involved in all this. None of this had to do with you or Donte. Expechally Donte. I sure hope he is healing aswell. Poor guy."
