And it's not "brainwashing" by any means. It's about establishing a bond of trust and compassion, assuring your sub that you will give them everything they need so long as they serve and satisfy. Eventually, it becomes unspoken.

And when the police found her, she didn't know how to do anything. She kept trying to explain that she had to be told what to do. D: Yes, but I'm not gonna kidnap my subs, dumbass. That's ruling through fear and force. Why do that when it's just as viable, and better in the long run, to rule through compassion? I mean, yes, you're right, the sub should live FOR you, but there should always be a measure of independence in how they approach it, and they should always be granted the freedom to think and believe what they choose.

Going off what you see in a movie as a barometer for a lifestyle is narrow-minded. "man being gay must suck i saw that in rent they all get aids" And to be honest, it doesn't take much time at all. You just have to have the right combination of personalities.

I didn't say that was my outlook. I've been on the internet for quite a while, Allegro, and I was referencing a movie a saw last week. That was just to show you what I meant by brainwashing; which was a joke. My entire first post was a joke and you would have realized that if you had read the last sentence.

It wasn't even a movie about domination. It was this movie about this serial killer. :/ I'm obviously not going to brand the entire kink as one involved with serial killers.
