Fumbling out of the bushes, scrapped and cut, Nero limped his way to the Pokemon Center, which, thankfully was only a few more feet away...
"Nn... Almost... Th...there.."
As Nero neared the entrance, he saw a blue haired girl, cheerfully stepping into the Pokemon Center. He held out his hand, trying to get to the door, and called out weakly...
"Help..."
He stumbled just a bit more, as he heard the Bird Pokemon's call. It swished down, and performed what must've been a Quick Attack, striking Nero in the side, a slash tearing part of his outfit, and leaving him wounded further... Nero instinctively hit the ground, and hid his Meowth under his gut, trying to guard his new friend from further harm...
The Pideotto cried out furiously, and hovered there, its eye still scarred from Clooney's Scratch Attack... It flew and darted in and out of sight, obviously targeting the two, preparing a Wing Attack...

Kilik picked up Treecko's Pokeball and recalled her with the red laser, then reattached the ball to his belt. He glanced up at the crowd that had been forming up in the bleachers and let out a light whistle. Seems they were drawing quite the crowd. He crossed his arms over his chest and closed his eyes. Let's see...I've got the level advantage, albeit a slight one, he thought, But whatever Luffy has become has those two long tails that are likely to be a real pain in my side. Yet the idea of battling a new Pokemon...that's getting my heart racing! He looked down at Cable and nodded, "You're up, Cable." The Electabuzz walked forward, popping his knuckles. They weren't normal sounding pops, mind you, but sounded more like quick booms of thunder. His tail thrashed about and he pumped his fists into the air, lightning showering from his body. Let's see how that monkey stands up to him!
"Cable," Kilik ordered, "Be careful. We don't know what Luffy is capable of anymore. This match would be easy if he was still just an Aipom," the boy explained, "but now that he's...evolved, we can't be as cocky as we normally are. You need to throw your arrogance right out the window, Cable, because this isn't going to be your normal fight. Got it?" What had Kilik all shaken up? That confidence that he had was...gone. Perhaps this is how he normally battled, against opponents he didn't know he could beat or not. When he knew he could win, Kilik would toy with his opponents, but...now that he didn't know what could happen, he was very cautious. He figured that was what was different about Kilik and many other trainers - he never went in head strong unless he knew he could win. There's no room for error here, he thought, lifting his thumb to his lips, and I don't want to push Cable too far. I'll end it if I know I can't win. Treecko is in pretty bad shape, and I won't let the same happen to Cable. Kilik smiled.
"I'm ready Robin. Ladies first."

Luffy himself hadn't exactly recognized Cable at first as the cool plug thing he knew from a while ago. However at the sight of the electricity recognition hit him. The cool plug was changed though! Frowning Luffy looked at it and crossed his arms over his chest not sure what to make of it, the cool plug didn't have its plugs anymore. It looked a lot stronger though, of course it was no where near as strong as he was. Luffy didn't really know what to make of the new plug, he did know though that he was going to show how tough he was now with his extra tail.
"Ladies first?" Robin grinned over at Kilik. "Hm, well thanks for the thought but Luffy's fast enough to make it ladies first every time. Luffy let's start this out with your Fake Out!" Robin called out with a grin as she looked out at her pokemon.
On the field Luffy grinned as he heard his order, Fake Out? He hadn't used that in a while and it sounded fun! With a huge grin on his face Luffy took off towards the bigger not a plug anymore pokemon. His small body was speedy as all four of his main limbs ran him forward. Jumping up he made to punch Cable with both of his hands but instead at the last second he just used Cable as a spring board and landing briefly he launched himself down towards the ground. Landing upside down on his regular hands Luffy swung back aiming both of his tails down at the same time in his Fake Out attack.

As Turn A fixed itself Kenny was left dealing with an angry Wailord that just seemed to spot him. The large pokemon lifted up a massive flipper and did its best to hit Kenny with it. The smart ghost pokemon simply phased though it and laughed at the Wailords attempts to hit it. Focusing his energy again Kenny pushed his hands forward and he sent forth a wave of black energy in a Night Shade attack. Since it was really hard to miss the Wailord Kenny scored a nice hit on the side.
Grunting in pain the Wailord glared at the floating ghost pokemon forgetting about the other floating pokemon for a moment the large pokemon focused its power and waving its flipper again the large pokemon sent a wave of water at Kenny which hit him head on and though some water pokemon mystic power started swirling around in a Whirlpool attack.
"Turn A when you finish can you use your Psychic attack?" Dante ordered watching as his virtual pokemon finished the last of his repairs. Locking onto its target once more Turn A loaded up his new power and let loose a mental attack on the Wailords mind.
Suddenly out of no where the Wailord felt a huge hammering inside its head. He had the worse migraine all of a sudden, he could barely see straight! Groaning the large pokemon started to waver in its swimming, he had never felt such a pain like this before!

Mia's ears twitched, for she had super sensitive hearing! Well, no, not really. There was just a thud outside and being the curious little creature she was she had to turn and see what in the world had fallen. A bird? A plane? No! It was some boy. . . Oh well. That was hardly exciting at all. The blue haired girl pouted, I mean people falling? How out of the ordinary was that? I mean she did it all the time!
Well, she may as well help the boy up. It wasn't until now that she realized he was so beaten and bruised and, well, all icky. The sliding glass doors wooshed as she stepped back outside into the Jubilife air. It was a bit hot, a bit stifling and smoggy, and not as pleasant as the rain washed atmosphere of Pastoria, but it'd have to do. She may as well get use to this world of mechanization, after all, the world wasn't going to revert backwards before all this technology was invented.
Miyamaru squatted down near the boy, picked up a slender wooden stick that had presumably been broken off of a near by bush, and poked the beaten boy in the side with it. "Heeeeeeeey, are you okay?" she asked, giving him another few light jabs. You must forgive Mia, for she was tired and a bit frazzled from the new surroundings and train ride. Heck, she didn't even notice the menacing Pidgeotto hovering near by,readying itself for another attack.

Sam breathed a sigh of relief as the storm became less intense, though it still bit at her skin. However the Sand Tomb was disorienting for Star, and she couldn't see a thing through it. It didn't hurt her too much, but she didn't have a clue where anything was.
"Star, Mud-Slap!" Although the move was one of Star's most basic, Sam hoped it would make a dent in the Sand Tomb, and if she was lucky cover enough area to slather the Gible in some mud. Star frowned but complied. She didn't even know where to begin with it, so she just twirled in place, slapping some mud with her tail through the Sand Tomb. Luckily she had the basic direction right, and through the shrinking vortex of sand, she saw that she had sufficiently doused both Gible and trainer. She laughed at the sight. What idiots, they hadn't even tried to get out of the way. Kya had been thinking over a strategy, not even considering the possibility of Star landing a hit, and she had been rewarded for her cockiness with being covered in mud. She huffed, slightly upset, but taking it in stride. It was her own fault after all. Besides, she still felt very confident that she would win.
"Gina, use Dragon Rage again!" The Gible gathered the intense blue balls of flame, and spat them at the entrapped Marshtomp. But she was bewildered when the flames bounced harmlessly off the vortex. Apparently her Sand Tomb was enough of a tomb to reflect the flames. Looks like she needed a direct attack. Without waiting for an order, the Gible leapt forward for another Take Down. Star had by this time attuned her senses to the swirling sand, and instinctively knew that the Gible was coming for her.
"Star! Watch out! Retaliate with...um...oh dear..." Sam's mind was drawing a total blank. She could only watch helplessly as the Gible dashed into the Sand Tomb surrounding Star. Sam was already rummaging for Star's pokeball. It wasn't that she didn't have confidence in Star's abilities, it was more of she thought she was a good judge of how much stamina each of her pokemon had. Apparently she was wrong. Sam watched in amazement as the Gible was thrown forcibly back towards her trainer with a face full of mud. Apparently Star had timed it well, firing off a huge Mud Shot just as the Gible had come through. Without having time to slow down, or react, it had been knocked back as quickly as it had come. Sam realized her vision was becoming clearer and clearer as the sandstorm and Sand Tomb subsided at the same time. For the first time, Sam could really see the field. She sucked in a deep breath. Kya was fine, a little windswept but both pokemon were already injured deeply. The Gible's fin was slightly torn, and it was huffing, hacking up mud. Star didn't look injured, but the slight blue glow around her told Sam that her Torrent ability had kicked in. This wasn't going well. 'I really need to learn how to make sure not every battle ends in a deadlock...'

The maze was even more expansive up close. Eztli had cut through it on her way to Fuschia, but it had been a quick hop over the very tall fences and she was there. Now, having no idea where Xipil had gone, Eztli had to dash down every aisle, and turn. She dead-ended several times before she heard Xipil again. It was a piercing shriek, but it didn't sound as if she was in pain. Maybe she was just having fun being a prankster again...Eztli was still worried though. She sped up, pushing herself to the limit. It wasn't like her to get this worried and flustered, but she felt that she just couldn't lose Xipil at this point...Not so soon after...She shook her head. She refused to think about the incident at her grandparent's. She tried to calm down. Xipil was fine. She hadn't shrieked in pain. She was most likely just trying to battle some weak pokemon she had found, her somewhat impulsive and devilish nature not thinking of the consequences.
Xipil was hopelessly lost. She had seen a pokemon she had never seen before, in Kanto or Johto, and she had needed to find out what it was. She had hoped even to battke it! But it had been very fast, and she couldn't catch it. Now she was stuck in this fence maze. She frowned. She couldn't leap over the fences like Eztli had earlier. She tried to burn through one of the fences. No good, it just made the paint smolder. Apparently the fences were metal, not wood. She peered between two slats. They were fairly close together and she could barely fit her eye between the two. Still no good, it just offered another view of an identical aisle. In frustration, she unleashed a torrent of flames upon the fence again. The paint smoked, and the fence turned a bright cherry red. She grinned evily. Maybe Eztli would see the smoke! Or if it disappeared too quickly, she would see the glowing fence! She would know Xipil had been there! Xipil quickly flamed the fence, creating an arrow pattern to where she was next headed. She then continued on, still hoping to find the elusive pokemon.
Eztli noticed a thin wisp of smoke a few aisles ahead. She hopped the fence hoping to find Xipil, but instead she burned herself on the fence. Apparently Xipil had burned the fence. She gazed the pattern. It was an arrow. As she held her burnt hand to her chest, it hardly bothered her any more, she followed the arrow. As she went down each progressive aisle, getting deeper into the fence maze, she saw more glowing arrows. As she approached ones that burned hotter, the paint still smoking, she heard a few noises. They sounded like a ongoing battle. Eztli sighed, figuring by now that Xipil had just gotten mixed up and too excited about a battle and had gone ahead without her. As she entered a four-way intersection, she stopped. Xipil was there alright, hopping out of the way and looking like she was dodging bullets. Opposite her was a Pokemon Eztli had never seen before. It was small, though larger then Xipil, and looked like a snow-capped tree. Eztli fumbled for her Pokedex, and found an entry for the move the strange pokemon was using. It was Bullet Seed. However she found nothing on the new pokemon. She was surprised because although her Pokedex was dated, she had the Hoenn update on it. Was this one of those new Sinnoh pokemon? What was it doing here in Kanto?

The battle continued along just like Keegan knew it would, ending in a draw, and he silently wished that he'd had the ability to place bets on it as he probably would have come away from it with quite a nice profit. No such gambling system existed in the dream world, unfortunately, and Keegan watched as Kasiya and Jaeshan exchanged the usual after-battle pleasantries. This time, however, he easily saw the shameless flirting going on between the two of them and though he knew better, he couldn't help but feel a jealous twinge jolt through him. He hadn't noticed it before, but now that he thought more about it, he began to realized that there always had been a bit of a spark between them. He'd been so focused on Mike stealing Kasiya's attention away from him that he hadn't even considered the possibility that Jaeshan had a thing for Kasiya, as well. Not only that, but they looked good together as a couple, as well... The redhead shook his head and scoffed. Jaeshan trying to steal Kasiya away from him? The very thought was ridiculous, not to mention highly unlikely. He didn't want to use the term 'pushover', but Jaeshan was way to, well, Mr. Nice-guy to ever try to pull anything like that. At least Keegan hoped so, anyway.
Meanwhile, back in the real world, a Pokeball containing a certain restless Pokemon had begun to shake, and after a few minutes of struggling it managed to escape, appearing in a flash of light atop his unconscious trainer's stomach in a sitting position. Pan rubbed his eyes and looked around, quirking an eyebrow when he saw the predicament his trainer was in. "Tree?" he asked, slowly crawling forward until he was perched on Keegan's chest. "Treecko tree?" He reached out and poked the human's cheek, but he didn't move. How interesting; he could have fun with this. "Tree, koh, tree, koh," he laughed, prodding his zonked out trainer in time to his laughter. Unfortunately, the Treecko soon grew tired of his little game when he discovered that his trainer was quite boring when he was asleep. He hopped down to the floor, looking around for something else to do when he heard the sound of footsteps approaching the room. Quick as lightning, the gecko zipped across the room and climbed up the wall, stopping above the door as it opened. Seeing an opportunity, Pan quickly made his move and slipped out into the hallway, completely unnoticed by the Rocket as he closed the door behind him, already wearing a sinister grin. ===== Miharu watched in horror as the icy fist cut through the air, striking poor Aska for a solid hit and sending her to the ground, frosty crystals clinging to her feathers where the Ice Punch had made contact. The small girl begged the Pidgeotto to get back up again, but it was no use as Aska was out cold - no pun intended, of course. With a heavy heart, Miharu called her fallen Pokemon back into her Pokeball, refusing to look in Chuck's direction as his wife announced that Aska was unable to battle.
Who to send out now...? she thought worriedly, going over her remaining Pokemon in her mind a few times. Tingle or Starrie would be the obvious choices, seeing as both Petunia and Sparkle were still too inexperienced for gym battles, and now that Chuck had revealed that his Machoke knew how to use Ice Punch, she wasn't so keen on sending Lily out to face it, either. I wonder if it knows Thunderpunch, too, she thought as she finally made a decision, and tossed out her second Pokeball, revealing her strange-natured Metang.
Chuck, meanwhile, had yet to notice that his young challenger had chosen her second Pokemon as he had dropped to his knees and was currently wailing loudly, a river of tears streaming down his cheeks. "Machoke, you did it! You defeated an opponent that held an advantage over you!" The Machoke shared in his master's emotional moment, as tears of joy streaked down his own face.
Chuck's wife simply rolled her eyes and shook her head, as her husband was prone to emotional outbursts at the most inopportune times. "Any day now, fellas," she said, her tone sounding somewhat annoyed.
"Aha, yes, of course," Chuck laughed, as though nothing had even happened. "Our next challenge! Machoke, strike them down with your Karate Chop!" The Superpower Pokemon grinned before he moved forward, eyes locked on the silvery Metang before him. He'd taken down that pesky Pidgeotto, and he'd do the same to this Pokemon, as well.

Nero grabbed onto the girl who'd come to check on him, by the hand, and pushed her away gently as the Bird-Pokemon's attack came to fruition. He attempted to dodge the attack, and succesfully rolled out of the way, the Wing Attack smashing into the ground below.. "Whew... That.. was close." he laughed. Looking over at the girl, Nero queried her. "You wouldn't by chance happen to have any Pokemon, would you..?"

"Actually I do! Three!" she answered cheerfully, standing back it. She'd loved to have told this delightfully battered stranger about her peculiar Pokemon, though she guessed it would have to wait for another time, perhaps after the ensuing battle she could feel beginning. The anticipatory feeling of a rumble going down began to grow and ache in her chest, she was always a little bit nervous when it came to battling before the adrenaline rush would kick in and take affect.
Now this boy must have done something to anger the Pidgeotto because why else would it be attacking him. Oh well, she didn't want him to die from blood loss or fear of birds so she snatched a Pokeball from her belt, it was hero time! Throwing forward the red and white sphere an equally menacing Pokemon flashed into resistance. It was Rhyme, the ever faithful and battle-crazed Floatzel. "Let's get this show on the road Rhyme! Ice Fang!"
Shards of chilling ice, freezing temperatures and a frozen wasteland flashed into her mind as she prepared her attack. She'd only used this move a few times since this morning when the attack had somehow been triggered into recollection in her mind. It felt so familiar yet so strange all at once. Two fangs, on either side of her mouth, appeared in a burst of ice as she continued to concentrating on her icy thoughts of destruction. Ah-hah! She chomped her newly grown teeth, enjoying the sensation before launching herself at the bird, mouth open wide.

Cable went running towards his foe, closing the gap between them as Luffy came at him as well. The monkey suddenly, and unexpectedly jumped behind him, and slammed him in the back. The surprise caused him to stumble forward, falling face down on the arena floor. Sneaky little punk...Cable stood up and stretched to prepare himself for a Thunderpunch counter, but as he was about to swing around and attack, the electricity around his fist fizzled out and he stumbled again, unable to focus his attack on the simian Pokemon. Kilik clicked his tongue and put his arms across his chest. Fake Out is an extremely useful attack to get an upperhand early in the match, he thought, tapping his foot, But it's going to take more than that to stop Cable. It had been a long time since he had to experience the pain of a flinching attack, and an even longer time since he last used one. His Ludicolo was the last Pokemon who used Fake Out, and it had always been extremely effective in buying him time to figure the situation out.
She's gotten better, he thought, looking over at Robin, And I'll admit that it's possible I'll lose. I'm not going to go down without a fight, and even if I do lose, that just means I've got more training to do before I'm ready to prove myself to anyone, and a long way to go before I can go toe-to-toe with Mike. "I'm impressed, Robin!" he said aloud, "Looks like I'll have to try harder against you than other run-of-the-mill trainers I come across!" He pulled up his sleeves a bit passed his elbows and put his fists on his hips.
-*-
"He's more powerful than I ever imagined!" he cried out with a hint of fear in his voice, "At this rate, it's body will be destroyed before it's will is!"
These memories came flooding back to him all at once. He never truly forgot, despite the creature's best efforts to remove all memories of the event from the Rocket's mind. No, an event of such monumental proportions would always remain...and even a small sliver of it can bring it all back in one sudden moment. Giovanni began to head up the stairs to the lab, leaving the basement behind. "We cannot create another Mewtwo," he said to himself, "as he was much too powerful. Too powerful for even I to control..." he entered the lab to see all of the lab assistants running around, taking scans of the sample Giovanni had handed over not ten minutes ago - a single hair from Mew's eyebrow. With this genetic sample alone, an army of Mew clones could be generated. However, this was not his goal - he needed the power of an entire Mew army in the body of one Pokemon. Surely, Mewtwo was the realization of this dream. Yet this power also had to be controlled. That's where the mechanics came in. Using technology similar to that of the armor they had developed to hone and focus Mewtwo's powers all those years ago, they were developing a device that would not only enhance strength, but also make the Pokemon bow to every whim of it's controller.
"Sir!" one of the mechanics said, smiling brightly, "Perhaps this suit could also contain a memory of every attack that is used against it!"
"Elaborate," Giovanni said sternly, putting his hands behind his back as he watched one of the metal pads be built before his eyes.
"Think about it this way..." the man cleared his throat nervously, "We're currently attempting to make the armor nullify attacks from all seventeen types, or at the very least, be extremely resilient to them. With the resources provided, we could develop the technology to essentially learn and return each attack!" Giovanni's eyebrow twitched for a moment at the idea. "So every attack the armor is hit with, it will be able to learn the attack and use it against the assailant!"
"The ability to learn each attack is already within Mew's genetic code," Giovanni said simply, "Apply this to the suit. And...you've earned yourself a raise." And with that, the Rocket Boss left the table the armor was being developed. Those children will learn the meaning of fear! They'll finally see what happens to those who resist Team Rocket!

The Pidgeotto cawed, and attempted to dodge out of the way, but was still grazed by the Ice Fang attack.. it hovered back up and attempted to blow sand into the Floatzel's eyes, flapping its wings, causing wind to build up.
Nero sat there, trying to revive Clooney, his Pokemon friend, by shaking his cat gently.. "Come on.. Clooney... wake up..." He said, his voice shaking with stress.. Maybe he wasn't meant to be Pokemon Trainer after all...

Serenity watched as Kasiya's friend Sasha left with out even acknowledging her exisitance. 'If I had a dollar for every time that happened...' Sere thought, though it caused her to giggle to her self slightly.
As Kasiya made her self comfortable, Sere reached for George's pokemon. She casually thought about getting off this boat and letting her new pokemon play in the water some. It was the thought of Bryny, ramming into the ship and making it crash that made her not, though it did cause another bout of laughing and she was sure this time that people were looking at her funny. Could she help it if her imagination was just too vivid? 'Sure Bryny couldn't take down the ship, that doesn't mean that the idea of her taking down this ship by headbutting isn't completely hillarious.' Serenity pushed her amusing thoughts away and let George out of his pokeball.
George took one look at his trainer and was completely convinced she had started to crack. First off she was on this ship which was filled with people. He couldn't even start to imagine how she got on this ship without stowing away in a closet some where. Second she was actually near people. Third she was smiling.
"Come on George, I just want to relax." Sere pointed to a chair next to Kasiya. "You can meet new friends, you're just not allowed out of my site...so the pool is the only place you can be."
George walked up and sat right next to his trainer. After what happened last time, he wasn't letting her out of his sight at all.

"Thank you very Kilik, your the best fight I have had since I faced Misty." Robin said with a grin as she gave him a thumbs up before focusing back on the battle. "Fake Out is so reliable. All right Luffy let's follow that up with your Double Hit!" Pumping a fist in the air Robin and Luffys gaze caught for a second before the monkey pokemon went on the attack again.
On the field Luffy watched with a grin as the not a plug anymore pokemon got up and his attack fizzled. Heh, he hadn't ever fought a pokemon as big as this before but he was sure he could manage. Moving quickly Luffy wound up both of his tails into fists and cocked them back before letting them fly at Cable in an impressive looking Double Hit attack. He was gunna show that not a cool plug anymore pokemon that it wasn't cool to get rid of his cool plugs!
~~~~~~~
The Wailord swam down below in pain both in his body from the burns and the attacks and his mind because of the psychic attack. This was just turning out to be a really bad day for him. Maybe he should just cut his losses and leave? Looking up at his enemies the who seemed didn't even have a scratch on them, the whirlpool wasn't doing that much damage and the other floating one seemed like he hadn't even been hit! Yes it was time to cut his losses and just head back into the deep, he didn't really want to spend any more time on the surface anyway. Casting one more dark glare at his enemies the Wailord took a deep breath and dove down into the water.
On the deck of the boat Dante could only stare in amazement as the huge pokemon descended back into the depths. OK so they hadn't exactly won more like convinced the other pokemon it wasn't worth fighting them but still! They had fended off a Wailord, that was really impressive! Looking up at Turn A and down at Kenny Dante felt for the first time in a while the confidence in this new team that he had in his old team. Grinning at them he watched as Turn A and Kenny floated over, each of them glaring at the other. "You two both did a great job. You fended off a Wailord that is quite an accomplishment. "
Both pokemon seemed to enjoy the praise they were getting but they couldn't ignore the fact that the other one was getting it to. Soon the praise Dante had given them became a source of another argument between them. Before it could get any worse the two of them were sucked back into their pokeballs.
"Hmm, well they still don't get along." Dante muttered as he placed the pokeballs back into his bag. Turning around he spotted Hera was back up and sitting confused next to Cynthia. "Hera your back up?" Dante asked heading over to the two.
"If I had to guess, I'd say your Bayleef really wants to battle," a boy spoke up, having witnessed Rosemary's outburst. "If you want, I can help you out with that. My name's Riley, and I'd be happy to have a battle with you." He seemed to be about Kasiya's age and of fairly average height and build. His hair was a dirty blonde colour and was somewhat messy. He was shirtless, having also chosen to take up residence by the tiny pool for a portion of the ride to Sinnoh. "Then after that, maybe you and I can go get a bite to eat or something. What do you say?"
She actually wants to battle? Kasiya thought, looking from the boy to her Bayleef, who was still glaring daggers at Leviathan. Oddly enough Levi was glaring right back, having seemingly thrown her normally quiet and relaxed attitude out the window for the time being. Okay that's new, Rosemary isn't really into the battle scene, but if she really wants to... She straightened up, and smiled, completely oblivious to the boy's ulterior motives. "Okay, sounds like a plan," she said, nodding. "That is, if you're okay with that?" she asked the fidgety Grass-type. Rosemary nodded vigorously before practically sprinting to take her place in front of Kasiya as she and the boy had found a somewhat empty spot on deck. I hope we won't get in trouble for battling here, she thought while simultaneously wondering what her opponent would send out. "Oh yeah, I'm Kasiya," she added, realizing that she'd forgotten her manners. "Thanks for this, I really appre-" She wouldn't get a chance to finish her sentence as Levi had suddenly forced her way onto the makeshift battlefield and was currently trying to elbow Rosemary out of the way. Rosemary wasn't very thrilled with that idea and pushed back, and now the two Pokemon were growling fiercely at each other, both wanting to battle for their trainer. "Hey, stop that!" Kasiya shouted. "You two are on the same team, so knock it off!"
Riley could only blink in disbelief at the two warring Pokemon in front of him, and he cleared his throat. "Well, we could always make it a double battle, since they both seem eager for a fight..." he chuckled,
Though she was a bit reluctant to agree, she realized that it would probably be the best idea. "Yeah, that'll work," she sighed, silently hoping that the two of them would turn their angry energy on their opponents and not each other. I hope this doesn't end badly... she thought, looking back over her shoulder at Serenity. She'd let George out of his Pokeball, though she had to do a double-take as the Mudkip had since evolved into a healthy-looking Marshtomp. Well, what do you know, way to go, George! she thought with a light smile before turning back to Riley, still curious as to which Pokemon he'd be using.
=-=-=-=-= Jaeshan could only watch as the newly-evolved Beedrill and the energetic Aipom continued their battle, though it could hardly be called that anymore. The two were now just wildly exchanging hits, both crying out in pain each time they took a hit and lashing out with wild fury in return. At least he's mobile again, Jaeshan thought, wincing as more blows were landed. Once again Squirtle and the Chikorita had stopped and were watching their teammates with wide eyes.
"Okay, I think that's enough," Eliza said finally, holding up her Aipom's Pokeball and recalling the feisty little monkey, Jaeshan doing the same with Beedrill a split second later. Eliza's Chikorita took this as a sign to end her battle with Squirtle as well, and after giving a little wave with her leaf she trotted back over to Eliza's side and sat down. Squirtle gave a sheepish chuckle and made his way back to where Jaeshan was standing, looking a little perplexed at the outcome of the 'battle'. "I think your Beedrill's gonna need some serious training," the redheaded girl went on, the slightest hint of a smirk tugging at the corners of her mouth.
"Yeah, I guess so, but your Aipom seems a little wild too," Jaeshan answered, kneeling down to pat Squirtle on the head.
"Heh, yeah, she is," Eliza laughed, shaking her head as she recalled her Chikorita. "I like that about her, though." Jaeshan frowned and looked away, deciding to keep his comments about hypocrisy to himself. "Oh, I'm only kidding around," she went on, putting a hand on her hip. "Now that the young ones have had a turn, what do you say we have a real battle?"
Jaeshan recalled Squirtle into his Pokeball as well and stood up. "Sure, sounds all right," he nodded, already having decided that Mightyena would be his first battler. "How many?"
"Three," Eliza answered quickly, already selecting her first Pokemon, an Ursaring. "Let's make this a good one!"
“Well, I can see you have a lot of questions for Sasha here, so I’m just gonna go look around for a little bit maybe try a little fishing in a bit. Sasha, if you want to hang out later I’ll be near the stern. Come on Hurricane!” He waved good bye to the two ladies and began walking away when he noticed Roy was still standing dumb struck at the two girls. “Heheh sorry bout that ladies, COME ON ROY!” He said grabbing the kid by the arm and dragging him along. They started towards the back of the boat and noticed a plethora of trainers all doing different things. Some were chatting others snoozing in the sun and in the back he noticed a fair number of people fishing off the back of the boat. He perched himself next to another fisherman who looked quite content where he was. “Well might as well see if I can catch anything. Roy what are you gonna do?” He turned around and saw that Roy was over at a snack table getting food. “Heh, all that boy thinks about is food. Well let’s see if I can catch anything.” Eraku cocked his arm back and snapped it forward sending his line out past the prop wash coming from the boat.
"Sand attack," Mia blurted. It was an unconscious reflex born into her mind after witnessing so many battles of her father's. He did not always win and often times he lost. But it was not his job to win, it was his job to test the skills of the trainer and there was something quite admirable about that vocation. That's not to say he didn't have powerful Pokemon, which of course he did. She shook her head, not wanting the evasive maneuver to hit it's target. "Quick! Aqua Jet!" she countered.
Quickly, in the blink of an eye, water enveloped the Floatzel, rushing and surging almost like it was a protective barrier. In this case that's exactly what it was meant to do. Pushing off her hind legs Rhyme slammed all her weight off the ground, once again launching herself at the Pidgeotto. The sand the Bird Pokemon tried to kick up with it's powerful wings did little against the aqua bubble roiling around the Floatzel. It swiftly turned into mud and washed away as Rhyme was in mid-flight. Heh, this bird, had nothing on her.
Mia, having dictated the situation as no longer dire, turned to the boy once more. "Hey, you'll be all right. And so will your. . .um, Pokemon," she said, flashing him a reassuring smile. She wasn't quite sure what the cat Pokemon was, she'd have to ask him later. "Pokemon Center's right there, you can go on ahead! I've got this covered." She winked, and pumped her fist to emphasize the fact. She totally had things under control, yup, definitely under control.
