Issildia turned from the Valtera, "I would advise that you leave these lands Kobra, you are in the middle of a quarrel that has nothing to do with you...it would only lead to your misfortune if you remained here."
Issildia then began to slowly walk towards the gate that led out of the tower. "Streak...Let's go." Issildia commanded, her patience waning from the happenings of the day. Already the Ryera soldiers were gathering their dead and seeing to the wounded from the battle. Surprisingly Luin Ryera was walking amongst his soldiers, healing the wounded and aiding those that needed it. A slight smile crept over Issildia lips, though it faded before any could see it. Indeed she was beginning to understand that even darkest of souls could exhibit empathy and wisdom.

Kobra brushed her hand through her hair, but did not listen to Issildia's advice. Instead, she fell into step a fair distance behind her and followed her towards the gate. Suddenly, she smelled the scent of poison somewhere and strayed from the path. A soldier lay there, dying of a poison that would slowly and painfully kill him.
Kobra watched him with pained eyes as she muttered a small reassuring sentence to the Ryera soldier. From her wristband, Kobra pulled out a thin needle and inserted it into the man's neck. Giving the needle a small tap, the man's body seemed to arch up in pain, but her hand kept him down strongly. "You will soon be better. To banish the poison, you must be poison to the poison."
She patiently sat beside the soldier, deep violet eyes seeming to stare into his soul. The man's pallid blue skin started to turn into the healthy glow and Kobra drew out the needle, inserting it back into her wristband. This poison is stronger than anyone I have encountered, this will serve me well to make more of these. She thought to herself. Normal poisons would have taken only a few seconds to neutralize and extract, while this one had taken up to two minutes.
Looking down at the young Valtera, the soldier smiled at her and said his thanks, offering to bring her to the Ryera leader to see to more poisons and also adding that she might be able to stay with them in a comfortable room. Nodding her approval, she followed the soldier.

((Don't worry. I live in the UK and Crow lives in the US. We're practically all different. It's nearly an equal disadvantage.))
Streak followed Issildia. Already, the day was at its prime. Soon the end would come for both the day and Streak.

Issildia approached Luin Ryera who was kneeling over one of his soldiers who had a horrible gash running across his torso. Luin muttered a phrase under his breath and the wound began to close. He then stood to face Issildia. "I assume that you will be departing in time...pity...I think our alliance was one that could continue to profit us both."
Issildia regarded this remark stoically. "That may be Ryera...but I don't play well with others...besides our goals are different, the means to them may be the same but what we seek is not, after this we can go back to hating each other...I assume that won't be a problem?" Issildia said slyly.
"Not at all" said Luin returning her tone. Issildia only inclined her head at this, as was an Anierian custom when regarding another leader of the same level. She then turned away from him to begin walking towards the mass of wounded and dead that lined the field.
"Tenna' ento lye omenta Issildia" said Luin as she left. Issildia ceased her stride for a moment as she replied. "Tenna' san Ryera"
Issildia then resumed her search for the rest of her comrades. First she had to find Archer, wherever he might be...
(((Wow we are from rather opposing time zones, Taiwan and the UK...cool. whee )))

Streak looked to Luin. Streak had to be thankful for what he had done, but it was all for business and, in the end, would probably amount to nothing. Streak followed Issildia. He felt a sudden surge of Nevar power. It didn't seem to come from Issildia, it was almost like a sign or signal to where a Nevar was, in this case it would probably be Reinsen as he and Issildia were the only Nevars as far as Streak knew. He decided he'd have to tell Issildia, give a hint to the fact he had made a pact with her father, or at least that the Necromancer might have while controlling his body.
"I feel a strange but familar power coming from the east. It is not dis-similar to your own. Why is it I can feel this power, when it probably isn't mine to feel. It's almost like a signal to tell me to go there, and I feel compelled to go. Do you know what this power is? What has happened?" Streak asked.

Issildia suddenly froze in her tracks, when she spoke her voice held a lethal edge, "It is my father..." she paused before turning to face him. "Only one of Nevar blood or one of his own favored officers would be able to sense his call..."
Issildia's eyes narrowed, "It makes sense, considering that you were possessed by a creature that was probably working for him...unless"
Issildia then fell silent and seemed to dismiss the idea from her thoughts with a slight shake of her head.

The soldier led her through a small parth cleared out from between all the bodies. Some of the bodies already reeked of dirt, blood, and flies were already starting to gather. Finally, she could feel that they were nearing a figure resonating power.
The soldier bowed and Kobra followed suit. "Your excellency, may I present the girl who saved my life..." His sentence trailed off as he realized he did not know her name. At this, Kobra cut in, "Kobra. Your soldier was poisoned, I merely relieved the poison from him."
The soldier politely took her pause and spoke up again, "She knows much about poisons, I thought maybe her skills would be useful to our wounded men."
Kobra regarded the leader with her violet eyes, respecting his influence and power.

Luin turned his attention from the soldier he was currently healing, to Kobra. "My thanks for aiding one of my men, but what is your business in my lands?" His green eyes retained their chilling edge as she spoke, though his voice was not a reflection of this...

She nodded and grinned in response to his thanks. Kobra turned her scoff into a polite cough. "I was trying to join one of your relative's groups. I seek adventure, for my life, though still young, has been quite dull lately." Her eyes twinkled as she thought, These Ryera...they all act the same, teehee.

"A frail reason for traveling into the desert..." Luin then paused his eerie tone inching back into his voice, "Do you even know of the Ryera clan, our profession..." he paused in this and approached the conversation again... "Though indeed we could use an alchemist of poisons to aid us in our works..." he said musingly. "Indeed you could prove to be useful..."

The young blonde grinned. "I have seen and heard much of the Ryera's profession. Though I may not share the information I know to you, for then I would lose all that I have gained in the past." Kobra smiled, and continued, "If you could give me a form of payment, I would be happy to cure the poisons that have affected some of your soldiers."

(((Well Night then. wow it's only 1:14 PM here lol. )))
Luin only smirked, "I think your services will be useful enough...see to the wounded and those that suffer from poisoning..." Luin then extended his hand towards her, uncurling it to reveal what he held. A blood red gem lay on his open palm, surely such an item would be deemed priceless, but it would fetch a high price in any market...little did Kobra know, that the gem was more that it seemed.
Yet again Luin Ryera was using an unknowing person to accomplish his own purposes, for there were many that searched for these jewel shards, he would regain this one soon enough, but for now it would remain with the valtera to draw those that hunted the shards off his trail..
"I hope this will do as payment..." he said with a slight smirk knowing all to well that it was more than anyone could hope to gain from the job of simply healing his soldiers.

Her eyes narrowed, when she next spoke her voice was harsh and unforgiving, "Streak I was an assassin of Anier for most of my life...I was trained to know when a lie has been spoken...I know when information is being withheld! Now what aren't you telling me?!" The hiss of her blade being drawn was heard, through the sword hung loosely at her side it was still a threatening gesture.

The sound of snow crounching from foot steps on it, across the sleet of snow upon the land he walked on."...am i lost again,..." he said a bit low.. His head raises up and stares off into the distance of white snow, a cold breeze fell from the sky upon him, creating a burst of wind hitting his face makeing his scarf fly back crazily. He simply left his one grey eye open."....is the weather..ever change.." he said walking again, his Void Blade hanging on his side, his brownish hair waveing a bit back and forth."any life..out there..at all..." he said low again, almost a whisper. He continues to walk on, he seemed like he was just wandering to this land, then for a second his stops and takes a bit of a cautious looks around the area."Dangour..?hmm..nope.." he walks across the snow leavieng his prints of his foot out as he walked on.
