Why a wonderful day to you all.
My name is Souls, always been called so and it's something I've grown accustomed to.
I only vaguely remember how I got into Touhou, and it involved listening to one of the Nico Nico medleys. Probably Kumikyoku or Ryuuseigan. I probably misspelled both of those. Being as Iosys had songs there I learned of the music through them and eventually got really into all of the amazing remixes done by fans.
I have only played all of the games from Scarlet Devil to the 13.5 demo.
My favorite character, and her theme, is Flandre Scarlet.
Sadly I have never gotten to her...
haha..haa....
Anyway. It'll be a pleasure to be here.

Yo. This one here is Dragonwing. Call me Dragon, Wing, Draggie, Mr. Drag or Crow. I know exactly how I got into Touhou. It was the sheer amount of doujins I found myself having which led to an interest into the characters and then the series. I suppose following scalation sites and downloading everything they scanlate does that to you. Oh well. Anyways. Nice to meet yah all.

My name is Manah Scarlet Shadowsong, but please call me either Manah, Song, Siren, Ice Witch or Bloodsong.
How I got into touhou was through my friend who introduced it to me via 'Cirno's perfect math class' and I had to ask if there was any more AMV's like this. One thing lead to another and now here I am in this amazing land with varied intrests and people. A note before I go is that BEFORE anyone asks who is my favorite person of the cast it is without a doubt Flandre Scarlet, followed by Mystia then Nitori. Anddddd I dislike Wriggle for a reason I best not say

My name is Riku, nice to meet you all!
Well, I got into Touhou originally via Vocaloid- Heard a Len and Rin cover of Bad Apple, then did some digging and found out about Touhou.
Unfortunatly, I haven't played a single game, despite wanting to, and am mainly a fan because of the music.
My fave character...? Hmmm....Prolly Koishi Komeji. Closesly rivaled by Youmu, Sakuya and Yukari.
Music wise, I cannot pick... ^___^''
Stage theme, likely Last Remote, Extend Ash, Charming Domination - Who done it? or The Gensokyo the Gods Loved. (Ha..Pretty much all Extra stage themes... sweatdrop )
Character theme, Hartmann's Youkai Girl, Night Falls - Evening Star, Mima's Reincarnation and Luna Clock - Lunar Dial are particular faves of mine.
Outside the games, though, Greenwich in the Sky, Mary the Magician, and Bkue Sea of 53 Minutes are Zun songs I favor.

How did I get into Touhou?
Random browsing on YouTube and Nico Nico Douga in 2008. Probably the first time I saw it was in a medley. The character designs stood out to me, and eventually I found it was from something called "Touhou". Then, I found out Touhou was a game series. At first, I only listened to music and watched PV's, and that was enough for me to love... But when I played the games, I loved them too! <3
And now I'm waiting for a Marisa Kirisame dakimakura in the mail. *Shot*

Hello everyone ~
I got into Touhou from videos on youtube about 3 years ago. What i liked most about it was the music. I started off playing Perfect Cherry Blossom, though its hard to decide which official game is my favorite. My favorite fan game is The Genius of Sappheiros. My favorite characters are Byakuren, Remilia, Yukari, Yumemi, Eirin, Miko, and Mokou, can't really decide which is my absolute favorite.

Hey there!
Welp, I got into Touhou after playing Touhou Koumakyou ~ The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, which is not the first game of the series. Also, I absolutely love Touhou Vocals, the BGMs that are re-arranged by different Doujin Circles. My favorite characters are Reimu Hakurei, Marisa Kirisame, Reisen Udongein Inaba, Tewi Inaba, Sakuya Izayoi, Kaguya Houraisan, Toyosatomimi no Miko, Suika Ibuki, and lastly, the Scarlet Sisters.
Another thing, the first Doujin Circle that I have encountered is IOSYS and my favorites are from Shibayan Records,
Alstroemeria Records, REDALiCE, East New Sound, and Demetori. whee

Hello~
My first Touhou experience was roughly 6-7 years ago, when a friend introduced me to Phantasmagoria of Flower View. I spent the next 2 years frustrated and not willing to try it again-- until one fateful day, a good friend of mine introduced me to Hisoutensoku, and from there I decided 'you know what, imma try this again'.
Then I fell... and fell... and fell...
I currently have the wonderful opportunity to live and work in Japan, so seeing first-hand the strong influence that this franchise has on the community is just so awesome. My favorite character by far is Hakurei Reimu, since I main her in Hisoutensoku, as well as Houjuu Nue and Kochiya Sanae. I don't pick favorites that often, honestly (who does in Touhou?), but if I had 3 touhous for the rest of my life, I'd choose those 3.
I play a lot of the fangames. I've beat Megamari, PatchCon, Pocket Wars, Fairy Maiden Wars, Touhoumon Another World, both Touhouvanias, and even Touhou Labyrinth (!). Right now I'm finally getting around to beating Genius of Sappheiros and DynaMarisa. The music is also a strong one for me, with the usual suspects IOSYS, Alice's Emotion, SYNC ARTS, Alstroemeria Records, Demetori, Crow's Claw... I have about 110 music CDs so far, collected over 3 years. I spend most of my moneh on figures and goods and stuff... I'll post them later.

Currently re-joining gaia after a long absence sweatdrop
Its a little weird how I got into Touhou. Dont remeber how, but I found a parody of Marisa Stole the Precious Thing video that used Akatsuki members lol Then I found the real thing and thought "Wow! This looks like a great anime!". Then I found out it was a game... at which point i was like "GOTTA PLAY THIS!!" scream
whee No regrets since! whee
I suppose my fav game is probably Imperishable Night (cos its such an easy difficulty lol) and Reisen's stage is sooo trippy eek As far as fan games go, Touhoumon definitely makes me wanna catch 'em all.

I've known Touhou for almost 3 years, I'm not a great player at the danmakus (still need to 1cc UFO on Normal), but I'm quite regular at Hisoutensoku (if anyone knows Soku Lobby, I'm there pretty often), so if you ever want to play sometime, just message me. Well, a good freind of mine first introduced me to it. I played Embodiment of Scarlet Devil. It is my favorite of all the games. Ummm... I like Touhou, Reading, Writing, and Drawing. There is not much eles to know.
