Chris just looked at her then burst out laughing, "Yeah it was a pretty big spider."
Summer just nodded but she had never heard that her brother was scared of anything.

Nanina's lips twicthed as she tried not to laugh too. Yeah, a Recluse. She giggle and held her hands up measuring about a foot.

"Gross," Xavier said in response to the spider conversation. "Must have been really huge then."
Xavier had not seen the flash in Nanina's eyes when they had walked in, so in a way he was oblivious. However, being Xavier, he would not mention that unless it was completely necessary.
When Chris mentioned more than one spider, Xavier frowned. "Wow." He said quietly. He wasn't afraid of spiders, when he was a toddler he thought they were cool even, but they weren't... as intriguing now. Especially when they ate.

Okai okai, it wasn't that big. Nanina agreed. She set the cleaned strawberries into a bowl and then grabbed another to start mixing the shortcake.

Emily sat up and caught her breath as she playfuly glared at Keith. Her ribs were aching from all the laughter she had done. Not to mention if felt as if her gut would burst from the lack of air and way too much laughing.

"Okay, good.'Ey Nanina, you need help?"
Xavier said to the girl. He was still standing in the doorway, his arm linked with Summer's. He felt content at the current moment, unbothered but still a little antsy from the kiss he had shared earlier with Summer.

"I'll help her Xavier and you and Chris can talk about guy things," she said smiling pulling Xavier into the kitchen all the way and pointing to a chair. She then kissed his cheek and went to help Nanina, "It's alright if I help right?" she asked.

Nanina purpously turned away to mixed the shortcake batter when Summer leaned in for a kiss. Would you like to cut the strawberries for me? She handed opened a drawer and pulled out a pairing knife, then handed it to Summer.
Pulling into the ranch, Shannon climbed out of the truck and looked around, inhaling deeply. Grabbing her few packages from the back of the truck, she walked around and then into her house.
I'm sorry, but I didn't know you where so ticklish. Keith told her, a smile quirking his lips.

"Sure," Summer said taking the knife and a cutting board the cutting up the strawberries. "How many do you need?" she asked smiling polity trying to be a friend to Nanina.

Nani mentally counted everyone and then added three incase the others showed up. All of them, please. She smiled kindly at Summer, actually liking the girl, though she didn't care for the fact that X seemed to like her too.

"Ok, will do," Summer said smiling. She cut up all of the strawberries then got a bowl down and put them into it. "All done what else do you need me to do?" she asked.

" Don't be, i enjoyed it" Emily replied returning the smile and stretching out.
She rolled her tanktop down till her stomach wasn't revealed anymore. She had gotten enough sun and will probably wind up with a burn the next time. Her mind made a mental note to bring sunscreen next time they were out here.

Pouring the batter into a bunt-cake pan, she shove dit into the already pre-heated oven and then grabbed the suger. Just put about three cups into the strawberries and then mix it.

"Ok," Summer said smiling. She then took the sugar from Nanina and then went looking for a measuring cup then poured three cups of sugar onto of the strawberries then mixed it together.
