Shiki looked at him again, only this time in surprise. She didn't expect that. Looking away again, she shuffled over to give him some space to sit down next to her.

Shiki ate her fish with a reluctant expression. She never looked at Evan as long as he remained quiet. This reminded her of a time years ago, when she was in high school with Kokutou. They used to eat their lunches on the rooftop, no matter what time of the year it was. Well, the weather sometimes forced them to eat together in their classroom. She sighed. Strangely enough, she wanted to return to those days...Where Kokutou never knew anything about her...or what she held in the recesses of her mind. However, she couldn't keep deluding herself. He had to know about...him.
Which made Shiki wonder: Should she make the same mistake twice? This time is much different from the first time. She couldn't ask for his help, since he's not revealing himself in her mind. It was so much easier when he told Kokutou about things compared to if she had to do it alone. Maybe he's telling her to stand up for herself? Even now, she couldn't do that. She had been fighting to get back what she lost years ago. Now that it's back, she was still the same Shiki Ryougi as before; only more knowledgable. Ryougi is a part of many smaller families that focus on assassinating demons. Ever since the Nanaya massacre, more pressure was built on the Ryougi's to keep up the demands. And none of them were interested in trying to restart the Nanaya lineage.
Her mind wandered as she ate silently, yet nothing showed on her face.

(Eep! 0.0 I'm sorry I'm so slow these days...)

Drynn belly laughed at Shoxie's reply. "That's awesome!" She said, rolling over to her side to face him.
Martyn of course slid off with a 'thump'. With a snort, Martyn circled around two time then curled up on the ground in between the two. Hoping this time he would not fall or get hurt again.
"Mine would definetly have to be the one I have every night!" Drynn rolled onto her belly an continued with her dream, hardly stopping for a breath. "I dream about being part of this weird crew on this awesome ship with a big red botton! The Captain is really lucky and a 'lady's man', and his brother is the Bomb Guy. Then there's the Mask, my sister Zen and her dumb bird thingy, Orcface. And there's the Twin's and Reni and the Kid with his pet Armagedon!" Drynn laughed at the memory of the Kid and Armagedon. "They where awesome! We would play tag, and Armagedon would shoot us into the air like a cannon. He was really big and green and scaily and had horns..."

(lol. I couldn't help myself. Drynn is part of the Crew, as my friends and I call them. There is a HUGH long story and background on the Crew. She has memories about her 'forgotten' life. So um... yeah... 90% of the Crew making goes to Laze and Kana so I have to put a disclaimer 3nodding ))

Finally ddeciding that it would be for the better if she remained quiet, Shiki finished eating her fish. She looked down at the skeleton like there was some kind of meaning behind it.

A compliment? Evan wanted a complement of all things? Shiki looked over to him in confusion before looking ahead again, "It was edible," She replied. It was actually a better reply than what she originally had in mind, which would have been ignoring him.
