Kayla dodged the arrow that Shin-lu had fired at her, jumping to her right. She then lept up into one of the trees as well, staying in the shadows. Kayla was now a good one hundred yards away from Shin-lu as she again fired another arrow in Shin-lu's direction.

Shin-lu had already begun moving, so the arrow went behind her harmlessly. Shin-lu was trying to get closer though, a battle of arrows would take forever and she didn't want to fall prey to the elf. Shin-lu tried to fire another arrow, but wasn't quite sure where to fire, the trees being quite thick, so she fired up into the air as she continued to move.

((Um, you forget Kayla's a half elf miss Presea. Just thought I'd remind you.))
Kayla heard an arrow fly high up into the air at an arc. She moved out of the way, jumping to the nearest tree on her left. She then advanced closer, remaining in the shadows as she again fired an arrow near Shin-lu's direction.

((ohh umm...Shin-lu thinks she's a full elf then xp ))
"Tch!" Shin-lu tried to dodge, but this arrow actually grazed her, making a cut on her arm. She covered it and quickly hid against a tree and took out a bandage to wrap it up. she put her bow away as she quickly bandaged it, being unable to use healing magic, before sneaking forward again. This time she didn't fire another arrow out.

Shin-lu carefully scanned her surroundings. She knew she was getting closer, but Kayla wasn't going to just poke her head out of the shadows for her. Shin-lu decided to see if she could fake her out. she threw an arrow up with her arm, hoping the odd curvature and motion would throw Kayla off and make her reveal herself.

Kayla smirked, seeing the arrow fly into the air. 'So, the old fake-out trick. This is gonna be fun!' she thought. Quickly Kayla continued to jump from one tree to the next, firing a few arrows off as she came about eighty yards away from Shin-lu's location.

You'll never expect what you can't see...
((Thatos, actually, both your characters had been spoken to (albeit in a rush, but still...) Reaction and catch up posts are allowed. I was kinda hoping to see any reaction to the ring presented. lol. Anyways, by merely stating one or both of your characters moved to the arena or stayed in the lounge, they can interact with the other currently-non-fighting contestants. More can happen than just the fight.))
((Presea, healing magics are the only type that is allowed during a fight... although I'm not certain if you were saying that because Shin-lu isn't a magic caster, possibly?))
((WMK, wasn't Josh in the lounge talking with Graff? When did he move into the arena?))
Siom watched the match as the two seemed to be shooting arrows above the treeline. And back into the mess. Annoyingly, the thick plant-life made it difficult to see anything at all. Thankfully, his training with the elves made him adept to hearing. It was nearly impossible for him to tell where the two were, however, every movement that made a sound was recorded skillfully.
Par'il seemed awestruck as he entered the arena. When last he left, the arena was but a rocky dirt field. 'How did all these trees get here since Siom's practice fight just a few hours ago!? Did someone use magic? But the arena forbids that!' He was horribly confused as he slowly made his way to where the other gladiators had gathered within the arena walls. Being from the forest, and ears as good as any other elf's, he was able to take every movement from within the treed battlefield down to each's location. Shin-lu was grazed by an arrow and was hiding neat a tree, as Kayla slowly, but blindly, approached from a decent distance away. He took his seat next to Siom and behind Isaac. Asking to the air hoping for a response, he asked, "What happened to the arena? Where did the forest come from?"
Siom ignored Par'il for the moment, trying to focus on where the girl's were exactly; things had gone quiet, until the whistling of arrows again sounded in a rapid fashion. Who's were those?....'
...then, one day, it'll bite ya

Arch and Thailen follow Par'il upstairs
"So this is the arena? I must say it looks like it would make for a good fight" Thailen says studying the area.
"Well, if people enjoy fights here, I guess it would be good money, but I'd prefer not to. A show is a show however" Arch shrugs and watches the ranged fight

Shin-lu quickly swung away, each arrow getting closer and closer to her and the last one she barely missed, getting another cut along her hand. Shin-lu dropped the ground as she then pulled three arrows back on her bow and then fired all three at the same time in the direction the arrows came from.

Graff leaves the lounge and goes to watch the fights "... Im gonna do the dishes after watching the fight... I dont think anyone would get angry for leaving a bunch of dirty dishes for a while..."

Kayla attempted to dodge the first two arrows as the last one embedded itself into her left shoulder. She stopped moving long enough to pull it out, wincing in pain as blood began to spill from the wound. She could feel the ring's powers begin to heal the injury, closing it completely. Kayla still couldn't tell where Shin-lu was. She jumped down from the tree she was in, firing an arrow in the direction the other three had come from.
