Nera smiled as she studied the person before her, his hair was unusually colored and the fact that the boy could see her was unnerving. He asked her who she was and said ,"I am Nera vi Sombre, but that does not matter. For the real question is, who are you?" The girl wore a white jacket with black belts over his arms and had a tattered white hakama, and the most unusual trait was that she had a bone-like material covering the lower neck area as a fang or jaw of a wolf. The boy was familiar and had a strange presence around him, something she could sense was wrong with him. "Something about you is familiar..."

"Nera?!" Kasen said as he was shocked that this sinister person, that horrible reiatsu that he felt from the forest where Ash fought, it was his love all this time brought back as a wretched arrancar. "Nera, its me...Kasen Tsuin.... How is this possible?" Kasen was dizzy from shock as he pulled out a small candy dispenser with a dog's head on it and swallowed the candy. Suddenly the body launched back with Kasen's shinigami form coming out of it. "Pupples, get my gigai away from here." The shinigami stared at Nera who had caused his beloved pack mate so much harm, but was torn at what to do. "Why?! Why did you harm Aislinn?! Why are you an arrancar?!" He was confused, listen to his heart, or his instincts; To love, or to kill his fated enemy.

Aislinn had managed to follow Kasen this far, masking her reiatsu-- and thus her presence-- with every ounce of willpower she had. She wasn't sure if she should even have been following him to begin with considering the very personal nature of this excursion into the mortal world. Still, her instincts urged her to trail him. No-- more than just trail him-- she felt responsible for his safety despite their differences in rank. Kasen was Pack. Pack was family. Family, Aislinn had sworn over and over, was the one thing she had to protect at all costs.
She stopped just short of the clearing in which Kasen now stood, hand resting on a a sturdy tree beside her. She noticed Nera about the same time Kasen did, though she needed no introduction. The wood stank of Nera's scent and there absolutely no mistaking that umbrella. It was all Aislinn could do to hold herself back. She so desperately wanted to protect Kasen from Nera, not because she was afraid of Nera herself, but rather what she would do to Kasen. She hoped she could trust Kasen's prowess in battle to protect him from Nera's gravity manipulation, yet she knew that at the first sign of trouble she would break cover in a moment to protect her Pack mate.

Nera eyes opened wide open as the person before her revealed he was a shinigami, but what was worse was, she was his old lover that she remembered dying before she was killed. Wolves killed him, and they both became the wolf that had destroyed him, but after so long, they would meet once more in the forest that had been their secret hideaway from the world. "So Kasen, you've become a shinigami eh....?" The arrancar was a bit nervous as she took off the strange sun-patterned bracelet on her wrist and stuck it into her blade behind her, allowing her to carry her blade now.
A scent followed Kasen, someone that she remembered quite well. Aislinn's reaitsu may have been hidden, but the smell of her body was unable to be ridden of. "The shinigami brat, Aislinn or something followed him!" Nera's nose twitched as the girl's scent as well as Kasen's filled her nostrils, giving a nostalgic feeling from both of them. The love of her human days, and the demonic feeling from destroying the girl's limbs, ruining any chance of living. However the girl was back on her feet, something she had not expected as it had only been a while since she broke her tendons, her spine, and her wrists. "So, why are you here Kasen-nushi?" Nera said as she kept her eyes on the two werewolves.

Kasen came back to reality as he looked at the girl, completed in an arrancar uniform and he simply shook his head. "I was looking for you, someone said they spotted you... But I didn't know that you were like this..." Kasen watched as she moved a strange item on her wrist to her sword and had to assume the worst. "So, are you going to kill me, Nera-nushi?" Kasen said as his dark aura began to seep out as if reacting with Nera's own reiatsu. His zanpakuto reacted fiercely with its owner as he unsheathed his zanpakuto, unaware that Aislinn had entered the area.
Kasen took the first move as he raised the blade in a slicing motion, releasing pre-stored reaitsu within to unleash a black and purple arrow of pure darkness. Kasen's resolve to save this person was shown in his attack, as the arrow had less power than he would normally unleash with this attack. "Nera, we shinigami are to save humans and destroy hollows, but I will save you!" Kasen shouted as he jumped back and waited for the attack to hit or possibly be deflected.

Nera smirked as she simply said,"Not kill my dear boy..." The power of Kasen was flowing from his body, so strongly she could see his body releasing the darkness from Kasen. Soon he was ready and intent on 'saving her' which made her smile still as she grabbed the blade's hilt and swung it around into a defensive position which the blade shielding her from the arrow. However just blocking it wasn't enough for her as she swung forward with the arrow's dark powers rebounding at Kasen.
"You haven't changed, still trying to be the hero..." Nera said with a sigh as she pointed her left fist at the arrow which was coming at Kasen and whispered under her breath ,"Bala." A swift purple blast bursted from her hand at a quick pace hitting the arrow and increased its speed and power as it combined with her bala into a union of attacks.

Kasen brought his zanpakuto down in a quick slice as he felt his blade cutting through the combined attack, however he knew the effects of his attack would come now that it had been sliced. A small explosion of darkness had caused a pitch-black fog to surround Kasen who had lost his own senses, however the bala had dimmed his attack making the black fog weaker than normal. Kasen sliced the air causing the fog to dissipate away from him and he shunpo forward at Nera and released a small burst to jump upward a feet to the sky.
"If not kill, then what?" Kasen said slightly happy and confused, if she wasn't fighting to kill him, then why was she here fighting him. But the thoughts disappeared as the battle continued and he couldn't let her have the upper hand. Grabbing his zanpakuto's hilt with both hands, a mighty swing came downwards at Nera as he descended from the sky cutting through the air, coming for the evil girl that stood before him.

"Oh you will know, dear.." Nera said as she brought her large down and behind her to swing the lethal weapon at Kasen to counter and hopefully slice him away from her. A small spark came from the blades clash and their reiatsu coming from the blade were dancing in an eternal hellish tango of battle. "Come now, you can do better than that!" Nera shouted as she shouted another bala from her left hand at Kasen's chest as she needed him alive.

Kasen released his left hand from his blade as he felt the brute force of Nera's blade clashing with his own sword, however it didn't end there as he was about to be struck with another bala blast. However Kasen unsheathed a second blade from his waist and was pushed back as he slashed with his left blade at the bala, cutting straight through as he stared down, rising into the sky. He landed in the air and looked at the wild creature before him and brought his knees down for a second before he kicked off from the sky with his blades brought to his sides as he fell from the heavens to face the hell that was Nera.
Kasen's blades flew upward from his sides and he held them at his opponent and swung down with a heavy force, however what was strange that they where in a position that appeared to stab downward as he knew if the giant blade countered, he could use momentum to bring also a kick to Nera's body.

Nera brought up her blade up once more above her so the blade could block the two swords, however Kasen wasn't planning on hitting her with swords as she realized he was about to kick him. She felt a thudding strike at her chest, but she had grabbed on of his legs and kept a grip on it to make sure she would let go. "Foolish Kasen, you're now closer my victory!" Nera said as she placed the sword behind her and opened a garganta, revealing a tunnel of whirling, torrential energy creating a pathway to Las Noches. "You're coming with me!" Nera shouted as she tried pulling him into the voided vortex.

Kasen grabbed his blades and tried digging them into the ground to stop the motion of him entering a garganta, but he knew he couldn't forestall what was happening. Kasen sheathed his blade, but kept his zanpakuto out as he tried to slash at the hand that held his leg. "No! Let go of me!" Kasen said as he gathered red reiatsu into the palm of his right hand and through it the hand, while gathering dark purple reiatsu to strike the hand again to release him.
"Why?! Let go!" Kasen shouted at the top of his lungs, for he was trying to make sure he never go into the forsaken world of the hollows, away from his friends and his family of squad 10. "You can't do this to me!!!" Kasen shouted as he was continually dragged.

Nera's hand felt the barrage of attacks, however thanks to her hierro the attacks had a smaller damage, but nonetheless she had felt the horrid attacks that been destroying her hand. But she brought her other hand to his other leg and continued dragging him within the garganta until they were both inside and with that, the garganta closed with Nera and Kasen gone from the World of the Living.

The space-time anomalies suddenly grew larger in magnitude to such an extent that they have already become easily visible even to those normal civilians that had nothing to do with it. Luckily, it was night time, and most of the general public was asleep so the Shinigami had no worries of this incident leaking out. However, something else would be leaking out instead -- a battalion of what looked like humanoid figures in pure, white armor, stepped out from the rifts and proceeded in an organized manner out into the world. By looks alone, not one of them looked sinister; in fact, one may even describe them as angelic. One thing about them though was that all of them, male or female, wore protective visors around their eyes, but the reason for this was largely unknown.
Marching down the empty streets, they seemed to be following a route towards an unknown destination. The battalion, although noticing the Shinigami stationed there, ignored them since they posed no threat to them or their plans, whatever those plans were. To them, they were simply innocent bystanders who had no idea of the reasons behind their actions, but seeing as they were just bystanders in their eyes, they felt no need to talk to them as well. The Shinigami were not part of their orders, but should they engage them in combat, they were obliged to fight back.

After what seemed to be forever, the battalion of white armored beings stopped. All of them fell eerily silent, not even so much as making the simple sound of breathing, as if they were waiting for something or, at the very least, scanning the entire area. Suddenly, they parted from the center, leaving only a single humanoid figure in the middle while the rest formed a circle around it. The figure in the center was different from all the others in the sense that the figure had long, flowing hair of blue and it was apparent from the curvature of the armor that the thing was female.
Indecipherable words filled the air as the sound of chanting resonated throughout the entire area. Again, another space-time anomaly occurred. Although this was far smaller than the one from before, it was far more concentrated as if it was summoning something specific. A solid object soon peaked out of the space-time anomaly, accompanied by several bolts of energy. It made the entire area feel as if they were in a bad lightning storm, but strangely, nobody seemed to hear the thunderous sounds coming from whatever it was that they were summoning.
While the figure in the middle was busy with summoning the object, the others around it pulled out magnificent-looking weapons that looked like the result of a spear, a lance, and a machine gun put together. They went into a defensive stance and their armors that were once pure as white changed color into blue. From the looks of it, they were protecting the girl in the middle from whatever that may come out from the shadows.

A lone figure made its way down the barren road as the summoning ceremony (or at least, what looked like one,) went on. Anyone who saw the figure would think it was just a man taking a walk at night in his sleepwear, but there were some problems with this line of thinking. First off was the fact that most people couldn't see this man at all, as he was comprised of spiritual particles and energy. The second problem was the pair of swords at his hip, as well as the battered bag slung over a shoulder. There was also the curious presence of a green plush octopus on his head, as if the man were too used to a hat to leave his head bare...
Jan, who had been away for a long while, had not failed to notice the change in current events upon his return, and decided to investigate. While he was not indebted to anyone nor under the command of the Soul Society, he still felt the age-old need to protect what he saw as his territory, that being the town of Karakura. Holding a paperback in one hand and a steaming mug in the other, he quietly took a sip and walked. Feeling lucky upon his discovery, Jan cracked a slight smile as he folded a corner of the page he was on and slipped his book into the old bag with one hand.
I don't know if this group is responsible for anything, but there's a good chance. I'm sure that they have at least noticed my energy, but until anything else happens, I'll remain an observer. Still, this summoning thing looks like bad news... And I'm running out of tea.
