Rei's smile deminished a little, but then he laughed. "It takes a little more then a bit of sickness to kill me." He said as he grasped her hand gently. "Do you think you can Climb it on your own? or should I carry you?" He asked calmly.

Ivy looked at him with sad eyes. She could heal anything, but emotional pain, though she could feel it. She could feel all wounds, even the emotional ones, but she couldn't heal them all. She reached out and touched his shoulder lightly, "Hey, we've all had a really rough time for most or all of our lifes...But we keep on going. One day you'll see your family again, and I'll even come with you." Ivy said with a half smile, remembering her family she had left behind.

"theyre all dead" he said still looking down "I have a brother who is a wrestler and a cousin who still lives in samoa but my direct family were all killed when I was taken to the labs" he said.
"I only know that much becasue I found my reccords on the SP database when I was posing as a special policeman" he said.

"Oh..." Ivy said, slouching alittle with the weight of the let-down. "Well..." she began and then sighed, puting her chin in her palm as her elbow rested on her knee.
Holly looked at the rope and then how far up it was. She calculated her strength and how long it would last. She looked at Rei and said with a serious face, "If you go up directly behind me I'll be okay. Just in case I fall or seomthing. But I want to try it anyway."

Manji sat in silence, staring at nothing, listening to the blood rushing through his body and feeling the warmth of Ivy nexto him but blocking out all other stimuli.

Ivy enjoied the calm silence between them. Something about it seemed right, though she wondered if he was still thinking about his family. She looked at him and slowly realised she didn't know what his ability really was. She almost spoke up, but instead remained quiet and hummed a quiet an old tune.

Richard stood back up, placing his Weapon back together and retrieved his supplies. He ran as fast as his enhanced speed could get and made it there in an hour. It was too late. The ECs were being rounded up into black vans and were being driven off, possibly to the labs. Richard hated himself.
"why...WHAT THE HELL?!", he scowled in his thoughts. "This was the only lead I had...now..everything's over. Any information they had is gone...gone with the labcoats..."
He threw his lance at the ground and fell tone knee. He then pulled out a small binocular and scanned the area. Nothing but barrenness. Richard scowled. A Mission objective had been failed. There was rumor of a hidden settlement somewhere in the wilderness, which was fondly dubbed "Area Zero" by the escapees. If only Richard made it here on time, They would've been able to survive there. He had no choice but to search for another mecca to brig to the settlement. However, the information he needed would take quite sometime, and he needed to find a place to keep a low profile. He took out his black ribbon and tied his hair up into a long tail. He changed his front bangs to split away from his face instead of drooping down. There wasn't much to do about his clothing though.
"That guy with the whip isn't gonna like to see me again."

Rei twisted his face in thought. "Hows about this..." He said as he picked her up with ease, and made her wrap herself around his chest, as he began to climb the wall. He stuck out horizontal from the wall as he climbed, turning his stomach into more of a seat for her. When they reached the top, Pat was there to help her up off of Rei, and then Rei leaped up after. He smiled. "Well pat, Your a life saver, Always showing up at the right times." He said patting him on the shoulder.
As they began walking towards the truck, Pat grimmaced. "I jus' realized... I only have a two seater... Someone's gunna have to get in the back..." He said and then thought a moment. "Actually, Why don't you both get in the back, Give ye kids a bit more quality time together." Pat said laughing and winked at Rei.
Rei laughed with an undertone of embarassment. He looked at Holly, Whom he was holding onto gently to make sure she didn't fall. "What do you think?" He asked smiling.
((Hmm, I quite understood his post, so if it isn't already edited, i'd vote for leaving it as is))

"My hero." She said, with a hint of unintended sarcasm. Once again pulling out of Drake's grasp, she made her way over to and collapsed upon her cot. Once she was there, she closed her eyes and sighed. "You know, I've survived much worse. What's a little fall down the stairs at this point? Where's your sense of excitement?"
