Zell let out a audible groan of displeasure as he remmbered the Field Exam with Seifer, the usual bossy and all around jerk Seifer had been there leader and all he could do was deal with it back then, and now he was a SeeD which made things worse.
"Agh, don't remind me, I'd like to give that jerk a peice of my mind, not to mention a large peice of my fist ..." he punched his fist into his left hand's open palm then stepped out of the elevator and started walking towards the Training Room.
"Seifer is just a jackass, I said it before and I'll say it again, better to ignore the guy then do anything else ..." Zell groaned again, it was always hard though, especially for Zell.
"Well one thing you'll be happy to know is Seifer won't be in any group for the next Field Exam, unfortunatly he made SeeD finally ..."

Fujin sits next to Raijin in the Cafeteria. She sits rigidly in her chair and stares att Raijin. Empty plates litter the table infront of them.
"BORED" she utters, flicking her hair with her hand.

"Ya, i know what you mean. Nothing to do around here." Raijin replies, slouching deep in his chair, his arms dangling at his sides.

"That's surprising," Delan said, sounding impressed. "What made Garden change their mind about him? I mean, it's Seifer... Seifer's no team player, everyone knows that... Do you know why they made him a SeeD?" Smiling at his gesture as they walked off the encased platform, she moved her Vasettes to one hand to move the other to her hip.
"You seem like you should know the reason behind that," she stated vaguely, smirk widening even more. "I remember the rumors that flew around back then that Seifer thought you were a 'chicken-wuss'. You'd have to know him a bit in order to get that far onto his bad side."

"Yeah, we can go catch some fish or something" he says, with a gesture as if jostling the air with his hands.

They arive at the parking lot. Fujin enters the large yellow car on the passenger side.

Zell stiffened at the word 'chicken-wuss' and then shook his head as they continued on.
"Yea, I knew him pretty well, not in a good way but yea." He let out a large sigh and then shook his head once more.
"I was there during the exam and from what I saw he ran ahead and fought the leader of the group one on one, he lost but from what the Garden said they thought it was "heroic" of him to do that, I think they just got tired of him taking the test." He grinned slightly and then continued.
"He got the highest rank too, I still say it was because the Garden hated him taking the test over and over."

Raijin enters the car and starts it. They head out of the garden and towards Balamb Town.

Looking at him more carefully, Delan thought that coming to the Training Room would be best now that their talk had come upon Seifer. "If they were so tired of him, why didn't they just kick him out? That's what I might've asked if it was my place to question about it. I don't think you're wrong, but it's just that Headmaster Cid did feel sorry for the reckless actions Seifer chose to take and all..."
Clicking her tongue, Delan gave it a go at stepping off the newly appointed SeeD, and opened the door to the Training Room. "Sorry for bringing that up. I can tell you hold a strong grudge against him, but just forget about him for a bit." Tossing her Vasettes to the floor, Delan opened the cabinet that held the body shields, and easily took one out. Tipping the door closed with the toe of her boot, she strode to a vacant spot in the large room, locking her arms around the straps on the back of the shield and bracing her legs.
"Warm-up by beating on this. Think of Seifer if you wish, but at least try to clear your mind," Delan instructed as if she were a teacher. After hearing herself say that, she laughed brightly, shaking her head. "Ha, that was pretty corny! Hell, do what you want to do!"

Zell just sort of shrugged, Seifer was a pain in the a** but he was still a member of Garden and a SeeD now, he had to deal with it. He stepped forward and got into his usual battle stance.
"I think ..." Zell let a single right handed jab smack into the shield and then quickly followed up with a left handed jab. "Cid felt sorry for him but still knew he would make a good SeeD..." he moved forward with a quick combo of a double left handed jab then a right handed punch. "Seifer may be bad at following orders but when he heard he became a SeeD ..." Zell backed up and then sent a mighty right handed punch to the shield's center, he had made sure to unjunction his spells though so the shield wouldent be destroyed. "He sorta ... change ... he started acting almost human..."
Zell shrugged slowly then stopped. "As for the grudge, Seifer may be a jerk but he is still a member of Garden and now a SeeD, we gotta treat him like anyone else, he is are teamate afterall." Zell pulled back and sent another mighty punch to the shield with his left hand this time before he stepped back and started jumping up and down, he was ready as usual, he loved sparring matches and warm-ups where always abit...boring.
"It may be corny but ya know it works!"

Delan listened attentively as she absorbed not only Zell's hits but also his main point. As if they were back in first grade, the rule was back to 'treat everyone like you'd like to be treated,' and frankly the eton blue-eyed girl never liked that guideline. Slipping the shield from her arms she wriggled her fingers, making sure they were comfortable enough with the wraps. Luckily they were, and Delan was saved the trouble of rewrapping them.
"You seem to give in to reality too easily," she said with a challenging voice, moving her arms as her feet found another position. "They let Seifer in to where he's your equal and now you're obligated to treat him nicely. Hmph, whether he's your obvious comrade or your worst enemy, you better just treat him like he treats you." Holding her unclenched hands before her and only moving by the rise and fall of her breathing chest, Delan wondered why she was bothering to intimidate him. For all she knew Zell could have been a hard stone to move anyhow and her side talk wasn't going to barely provoke him.

Zell simply shrugged and resumed his battle stance with a large grin on his face as he spoke.
"Well if I treated him like he treated me we'd both be dead five times over, besides I don't wanna sink too that jerk's level, better to just treat him like a ally ..." Zell was letting the words sink in still but he knew he was giving up rather quick, Seifer had been a bully to him even when he was a child at Edea's orphanage and as they grew up it got worse, hell they even became enemies during the conflict between the SeeD team and Ultimecia, it felt like it was just yesterday they where enemies on the battle field and although it was tough to consider Seifer a ally again, he had to, what could he do?
"I may give in too easyly but I still consider him a ally, we gotta trust eachother since you never know, SeeDs are sent on all kinda missions and with teams of people you sometimes don't even know, if I where to get on a team with Seifer I'd rather be with him as a ally then as a enemy all through the mission." Zell simply shrugged and made a small 'come on' motion.
