Portabello dashed towards the Zigzagoon, his feet kicking up sand and gravel with each forcefull step. In a matter of seconds the shreiking Breloom sent out a punch so fast that neither trainer could see it. All they saw was the impact would it left of the Zigzagoon, which stumbled over, and tried to regain it's balence.

"Tackle it Ziggy!" shouted the boy, almost yelling at it.

Ziggy leapt forth and scored a direct hit on Portabello, knocking the wind out of him for a second. He soon shook it off and retaliated with a Mega Drain, sucking the last bit of viality out of the Zigzagoon. It collapsed and was recalled by the rather annoyed trainer.

"You win, I lost, now gloat it up." He lowered his head in shame, but looked up to Mike's hand outstreched. A tad confused, he shook his hand, a smile returning to his face. "Good battle my friend, my name's Dalton." He said with the same smile, as if he never lost.

"Mike, glad to battle you, maybe we will meet again." Mike turned and walked off, Portabelo following closely behind.

"I should call Kasiya, it's a crime I haven't talked to her in so long." He said as he dialed her number and awaited an answer.

He gave her a weird look before shrugging it off. "Suit yourself." He said before heading off to the pokemart and before he entered he picked up Weed not trusting that the little grass pokemon wouldn't make a mess of something. Glancing around and spotting a few fishing rods that caught his eye be went over to them and inspected them carefully before shaking his head and moving over to where they kept the pokeballs. I'll pick up a rod in Cerulean city. There isn't any water between here and there anyway so it would just be getting in the way.

After a moments debate he picked up two potions and a pokeball and went over to the counter and paid for them.

"Oh, it's him is it?" Sasha smirked as she watched Kasiya's face turn red.

Kitsune cried out happily and nudged back, she too enjoyed the company of Fire Pokemon.



"Hey hey hey!" Mike called into the phone. "How's Kasiya doing today?" Mike looked up at the sky and smiled, he missed Kassie very much and hoped to see her soon.

"Well, Portabello just destroyed this kid's Zigzagooon, I caught a Magnemite, and I'm just chilling around the beach with Mistu, you?"

Portabello walked with a spring in his step at the mention of his name. "Breeelooom!"

"Well, I would be at the beach with Mitsu, if I could even find her...

You beat Misty? Awesome! I wish I coulda been there to see you win, I bet Shocker pulled through very nicely. And a Meowth? Your Zubat evolved? Wow, you seem to be having all this fun without me!" Mike laughed as he apporached the sea, looking around for Mitsu.



Sasha relaxed on the bench, quite enjoying the two flirts conversation.

Prickles bent over and smacked his bottom, laughing at the Pikachu and taunting him to come closer.

Lightbulb just shook his head at his goofy friend.

Upon leaving the Pokemart Tony put Weed down who just started to run around again. Shaking his head at the hyper active pokemon Tony began to walk along the path that would lead to Mnt. Moon looking around for the ocational trainer as he walked along Weed and Phoenix following him happily.

After a moment of walking a young girl game out of some grass. "Allright! Are you a trainer because if you are then we are going to battle."

Tony just smirked a bit. "Allright I accept your challange." He said and motioned for Weed to go out. The girl just let out her pokemon which turned out to be a feirce looking male Nidorian.

"Allright Nidorain use a tackle attack!" The girl cried and Nidorain growled slightly and ran towards Weed in a tackle attack.

"Weed dodge it and use absorb as it passes by." Tony comanded and Weed just nodded and dodged to the side and used absorb as Nidorain ran by taking a bit of its health.

"Grr... Allright Nidorain use Poisin sting!" The Nidorain shock off its injery from teh absorb attack and went charging at Weed its horns dripping a bit with poisin now.

"Weed start your dance and use Sweet Sent." Tony commanded and watched as Weed began to dance letting lose large plumes of Sweet Sent as it went continueously dodging the Nidorains attacks which seemed to be getting weaker and weaker as the Sweet Sent started to take its toll on it.

Venerax scuffed the dirt with his shoe, his Pokenav sitting on his knee, as he watched another beautiful sunrise by Mount Moon. It had been nice to just sit, and relax for a while. Cal lay near by, his head resting on a bleach white boulder.

Gym Badges, Venerax thought as he stared at the rising sun. I never actually thought about getting badges, but think of the advantages.

Venerax sighed, and looked over at Cal. He knew neither of them were ready for any kind of gym battle, especially not against Brock of the Pewter Gym. Let alone any of the others, He thought with another sigh. He also knew that across the three regions there were gym leaders of equal standing. Maybe I could beat each of them. First I should get down to Cinnabar first then I can worry about taking on the gym leaders. I've got a prize to claim. He patted his backpack, where the egg shaped fossil lay hidden, and smiled. Then there was the Hoothoot, it seemed to never sleep. Venerax would have to take time to train it. It wasn't the most glorious capture ever, but at least no bones were broken. He was just glad that no one was around to have seen that disaster. He turned the pokeball in his hand, and looked up at the sun rise one more time.

After another moment of Weed dodging the attacks by dancing Tony decided that the Sweet Sent had enough time to take its toll. "Ok Weed I want you to use absorb dodge it if it try's to attack you but then go back to taking its health." Weed didn't need to be told twice and ran over to the Nidorain and began to drain its health occationally dodging varous attacks directed at it. After a moment the Nidorain fainted and was called back by the trainer.

Weed ran back over to Tony who picked him up and congradulated him. "Great job there Weed! And did I see a few new dance moves in there?"

"Oddish! Ish Odd!" Weed exclaiemd happily its little legs kicking in the air causing Tony to laugh a bit at it before putting him down to be congradulated by a happy Phoenix.

The girl trainer came over to him and handed him 500 yen for winning and congradulated him. "You have a good little Oddish there. Thank you for the battle."

Tony took the money and smiled at her causing her to blush a little. "Oh it's no problem. You did great as well."
