Kaiser continued to look around the bar. "I just... I thought I felt the presence of someone I knew. He vanished some millenia ago..." Kaiser looked up sharply at the dance floor, then to the bar, and then back again. "Damn... I was hoping I'd be wrong..." He reached out a hand and plucked some invisible thread. This was his way of doing magic.

Kaiser gave Obsidian a grim smile. "You'll see in just a bit. I've unstuck his spell. Forgive him if he's a little short with you."

She frowned, Father?! She looked at the both of them. They did look similar. Magnolia smiled, Hello, it's nice to meet you! I didn't know that Dorien had any children...well...I mean....those kind of chidren. You look just like him!

Soon after Kaiser pulled the thread, a small hole opened up in mid air, the hole seemed to have two colors swirling inside it, red and blue. It simply sat there, emanating light for a few seconds, then, two hands reached through and grabbed the edges of the whole, stretching it slightly. One hand seemed to glow with a blue aura, the other with red. The hole suddenly stretched very wide by the hands and two oddly dressed men came through quickly, their feet pushing against each other as they shot through. As they landed they still held the edge of the hole and grabbed it with their other hands and pulled it so that it was also touching the ground.
Then, a very small man with a beard, (perhaps little over three feet tall) stepped through the hole and it closed behind him. The small man looked up at Kaiser and saluted, as did the man with the blue on his outfit. The man with red seemed to be wondering toward the woman who Kaiser had just been speaking with. The short man then spoke, "Lord Kaiser, I have brought the Giant boar just as you requested, and I took a shortcut on the way back so as not to be late."
The man in Red proceeded to stroll right up to the woman and he flipped his long, white hair when he reached her. "Hello my lovely young lady, and how are you today? I haven't seen you before, how unfortunately for that, because if I could I'd like to see a lot more of you..."
The man in blue simply nodded at Rike in acknowledgement that they had met previously.

Karrot stood there for a moment, then he cracked up laughing.
"Wow Lord Kaiser, that was a good one, you almost had me there. 6000 years.... Anyway when's the party at? I can probably get this boar cooked in just under a few hours, with a little help from Aron here and Roma."
Aron's stark blue eyes seemed to wince at Kaiser's comment however, then the show concern, though he still said nothing.

Karrot stopped laughing and then looked confused.
"Sir, I'm sorry but to my knowledge I left only a few hours ago, and I think I might notice 6000 years... in fact, I'd be dead by then. I would only live for a max of 600 years... Sir..."
Aron's eyes were wide open now, and panicing.

Karrot turned to Aron," I know you don't like to say much my friend, but I need to know what happened."
Aron sighed and spoke in a very calculated way, adding a sharp edge to every syllable,
"I... apologize, Karrot. It seems that there may have been a missing variable in the equation of our spell, the Temporal value. We specifed only that it be located near Kaiser, what we did not state was When."
Karrot nodded and stood for a moment then looked up with a sad smile on his face and replied,"I knew right away that something was amiss when I saw Kaiser socializing with a female... speaking of which... Roma, if you are going to talk to her at least give her a chance to reply...(he then added to Aron in an undertone,I'm surprised he isn't dead already..)"
Aron then flashed a small grin, however it vanished quickly into his blank face.

Kaiser spoke to Obsidian. "Feel free to smack him if he gets too irritating" He then turned back to Karrot. "With the situation you're currently in, I wouldn't be cracking any jokes..."
