Rider had watched the battle go on. Once it was over she had heard about the deal Chase had made with Jake. She went up to him and Nina and said in a lowered voice, so only Jack could hear,"You turn on us, and there won't be much of a fight when I get my hands on you. Plus, you'd be hurting your girlfriend in a battle if you had to fight her." She began to walk away from him and then said something so all could hear,"That's what happens if you turn on us." She smiled.

Jack bit his lower lip. And these were supposed to be the good guys? How bad were the bad guys from her dimension, then?

Jack looked around at the others, nervous. It sounded like they were all telling him "Join us or die." Isn't that what the only the bad guys were supposed to say...?

Jack gaped at Vegito and his arms fell to his sides. He was at a complete loss for words. After a moment or two, he re-crossed his arms with a huff, pouting.
