The Astral Report

Dear Hand,
I regret to inform you of our failure on the mission you contracted me to accomplish. I know myself and the Slayer Vega were sent as support to the Silencer Solar, and his assistant Assassin, Astra. Although they were acting in a rogue fashion, their abilities and judgment seem, unimpaired. Though, I do expression some concern for the two as I will address later in the report.
First, the mission; a total failure. Although we were permitted to face the ALPHA herself, we were unable to even force a direct head to head combat this her. A guardian seemed to have appeared via spontaneous transmission and disrupted our assault with a high-danger attack, if left unchecked would have resulted in the loss of all present agents. As I could not permit this we withdrew from the conflict and reported back to a sanctuary. The target remained un-identified. Prior to this, Solar and his assistant managed to infiltrate the ALPHA’s compound and lie in wait for the right moment to strike her down. The plan was foiled when Solar’s assistant was found out by an unknown soldier, and their position comprised. Solar, judged it best to assist his ally, and aided her. Though, things got worse from there. A high priority target intervened, and engaged the two. The target was ICEMAN and Solar and his assistant engaged the target. They presented a formidable starting offense, but the assistant’s affinity was of little use against the unique abilities of ICEMAN; leaving only Solar on the true offensive. Solar, in an attempt to keep his assistant from being struck down, ignored an attack and defended his ally. Though this is not what would have been most advisable, his reasoning is not without merit. The two were restrained by ICEMAN, and briefly interrogated, though they revealed no information. I then arrived with my assistant further in tow. Releasing the two I assaulted ICEMAN. ICEMAN managed to bind both Solar and his assistant and keep them from out of battle. Before they were fully caged, Solar and his assistant managed to lend some support abilities to me. Using a charge gleaned from the assisting, as instructed by non-other than one of your numbers, I engaged ICEMAN. Though I could not land a killing blow, I severely wounded him, left him for dead, and passed out myself. My student, the Slayer, Vega, as directly assigned by you assisted our group. She was able to keep ICEMAN at bay, as well as get our group out of the area. We retreated to a nearby spot, secured by Solar. The previous engagement with the ALPHA followed, and from here on I can only give you observation, not fact.
I am growing increasingly concerned not only with Solar, my blood brother, but with his agent, Astra. Astra in particular seems to have her own agenda, independent of any orders from commanding agents, Solar, or any other entity. She seems bent on discovering knowledge that Solar, myself, and all among upper levels of the Society know, before her time, or earning. Not only that but she seems to have some sway with Solar. I observed this after the group believed me to be passed out. Astra began advancing on Solar, and in his weakened state from battle Solar seemed to give in. From there I lost sight of the two. My student, Vega, was also disposed at the moment and observed nothing. I place no fault with Solar, since as far as I am able to tell did not pass anything along, but information. I hope to discover more about what was discussed, in due time.
I pray this brief report is of use to you. It is subpar in my opinion, but my knowledge his limited pending given directions. We have dispatched a sleeper agent, an Executioner rank agent. I hope it is able to gather more information covertly and report back to me as soon as it is able. I also remind you that the agent is en route, without Solar, Astra, or Vega’s knowledge; just as you directed. Until I next send my findings to you, I bid you farewell, until further contacted. We should be able to arrive at PSF within the week. We will arrive to convene with the other Speakers and the Listener as soon as able.

((myself and the others decided since we will not directly participate in the RP for awhile, everyone and awhile we will put out a little back story by us to allow people to better understand our crew. Yes, 'its long, this one is written by myself, the next should be by Alemy, then Solar, then Helryx. They should all be done this week.
