I was just having a bad day and needed to b***h at something.... my dog's don't give any sort of feedback! LOL I guess I just needed to textually bang my head against a wall. Anyway... does anybody know anything about the live action Evangelion movie? Weta keeps saying they're gonna do a press release, but so far all they've said is that they're doing the movie and post up the same few stale pictures. Has anyone gotten wind of any of the new rumors? I need some help with my PC... This is really embarassing, but I know absolutely nothing about hardware. I've got about as far as the fact that my CPU is on my motherboard. Now the thing is, if I want to replace my CPU and get a faster processor, then do I have to replace my entire motherboard, or can I just replace the chip?

I honestly think that depends, Kozo. I think that if you get a processor made by the same company as your motherboard (or at least one that's compatible) then you don't have to replace your motherboard.
Then again I could be wrong.

Gah.
I haven't been around alot due to massive amounts of baseball.
But that ended last night when I dislocated my knee cap.
Good side is that I'll be here alot more. Well, maybe not for you guys.
Bad side is I can't walk, I can't go to the bathroom easly and it hurts. Really bad.

Even though it's unamerican for me to say it, I really do hate baseball.
I blame T-ball for it. Because T-ball hated me (along with my whole team)...

I've found that most of the people I talk to hate baseball. Not enough hitting each other and to much standing around.
Football is the american sport now. It makes me sad.

LOL don't feel bad, I hate most sports. 'Cept the combat ones. well, that's in the competitive sense. If I'm just playing for fun then yes, I still hate baseball. Rugby's ok and so's football, but only with the right people. What really shines for me is Ultimate frisbee. Most people consider it to be the sport of athletic homosexuals.... but I still like it. Don't know if that means anything but still.....
If you like baseball then good on yeah! To each his own. Me, I'd rather be beaten the snot outta somebody be it by jabbing them repeatedly with a long peice of metal or wood, or by hurling them headlong into a padded surface. (If I'm gonna be fighting I'd like it to be as safe as possible for both sides!)
Huzzah! I have finally aquired the net on my good PC.....now if only I could get that thrice damned scanner back...
Back to sports though... Why on earth do people watch them? I at least understand watching combat sports and monster truck rallies. Things get crushed, smashed, blown up, and it's like an action movie. But why watch hockey, (don't kill me canadian gods!) why watch baseball, why watch gold, and for the love of GOD why watch pool!?
Leox s**t man, that sucks. How long do you have to stay off that man? Something like that can ruin your career, I really hope it heals well.

Val, I'm kind of offended. Not like super mad or anything, but...
I mean, you can go ahead and like Germany more then France, whatever. But really, I think saying that "the French suck" goes a little far. You shouldn't generalize about an entire country. Doesn't matter which one, or whether the generalizing is favourable or not.
I'm a third-generation Canadian. So really, France isn't that far off.
Kozo: Ever read the short story, "The Gold Bug" by Edgar Allen Poe?
I did something similar. Made a list of letter frequencies. :mrgreen
Also, I don't like Harper. I think that the Parliament flags should have been lowered for the soldiers... even though I really don't think that we should be in Afghanistan anyway, they still died over there.

Baseball is the only sport I'm any good at. Ahah...

@ Val: If it weren't for the French, national figures such as George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, John Hancock, would have been hung as traitors, and written throughout history as what we think Benedict Arnold as being.
Both France and Germany were sweet places; I couldn't choose one over the other, in all honesty. It's kinda hard for me to put any nation at ALL over another, simply because...well...that's just how I think. No one is better than France, and France is better than no one.
Same goes for Canada, Germany, America, Singapore, Haiti, etc...

... Okay, I'm quite certain that this guild is dead, since the only truly active thread is the OOC thread.
I'm looking for solutions. Anything, really, to keep this guild alive. I've got too many fond memories for it to just fade into nothing.
That, and as Vice Captain I feel it's my responsibility to keep this guild alive.

I should make a guild luff journal entry... y'know.
I think the guild needs to be built again, from the ground up. Rewrite the first page, the rules, the everything. Clear out all the posts and members (maybe make a subforum for the moved RPs, for people who still like reading them)... just a fresh start.
I know someone who could make some banners, for a fee, to get some advertising done. (Only, I'd have to get someone else to contact her, because... we're not exactly on the best terms at the moment.) Make a recruitment thread in Barton OoC! Sponser a public RP or a contest or something... Just get involved.
