Abel saw the shot coming, and was reeled back a bit because of the blast. "Yeouch, I forgot how much that hurt." He said to himself as he shook off a small ember on his sleeve. Dilandau made Escaflowne engulf his body, and raised his arms to block the blast, and shot his mind at Chase. "DON'T TOY WITH ME!" He shouted as the blast shot towards his opponent

Jack yelped and flew up into the air to try to avoid the attack. Chase wouldn't really hurt him... Would he? Well, he did try to kill Jack a couple times, but he didn't try very hard. If Chase really wanted Jack dead, it would've happened long ago, right? ...Jack wasn't sure if he convinced himself...

Kikyo turned around and shot another sacred arrow at Chase. "Chase, why do you work for this 'Warlord' who has traped us here?"

Chase Looked at the group. then smirked "Spicer. remember my offer. I got the information i needed. Ill be seeing you around" He vanished just before the blast from Dilandau hit him.
"Huh? Hes gone?" Inuyasha growled

Kikyo turned to the group. "He made an offer to Jack?" She turned to Jack. "I wasn't brought here the same way as the rest of you, but while traveling around, I heard many horrible things about this Warlord. Please, don't end up betraying us by joining him. You'll only be forced to kill us or any one who tries to disobey the Warlord."

Abel let his scythe disentigrate in his hands as he sighed. "The sooner we find him, the better," He said to the group as he looked for a path to take.

Jack blinked, still staring at the spot where Chase disappeared. It really didn't sound so bad... He'd get to work with Chase, and no one could say he wasn't evil if he did that. But... He really didn't want to fight his friends... Maybe, if he asked, the Warlord wouldn't make him. But, for now, he didn't have much of a choice than to stay with the group. He landed and retracted the propellers of his heli-bot, but didn't say anything.

Inuyasha sighed "Lets keep moving, the remaining Mechs headed east so if we go that way we should find a clue as to where the warlord is at"
Miroku sighed and looked at Lita and smiled. He then looked at Inuyasha. "Yea they know were here now, im sure they wont hesitate to send more forces here now"

Jack followed the others, silently. Really, he supposed he could be a big help to this warlord guy. After spending as much time with this group as he has, he was sure to know more about everyone than any of the other bad guys. And he had always heard more of what other people said than anyone thought. Just like back home, when people would talk in whispers about him...

Jack jumped when he felt Kikyo's arm touch him. "N-no, it's nothing..." he replied, pulling away. He couldn't tell her that he was seriously considering betraying them all... She was one of the nicest people to him, so far...
