WylrPnufh I'm really on the fence about what I'm reading about the Wii U. It's just a Wii with a Tablet controller, basically? So a Wii, but twice as epensive? xD Nah, Nintendo has always been really good with the prices, so I don't see the prices being too outrageous, but still... seems... kinda gimmicky to me. Also, I don't really like the idea of my hands being a foot apart while gaming. I do like... basically the only screen they're showing, with Zelda, where it's a console Zelda game, and your Inventory is in your hands at all time. .-. I do like all the compatibility it has. You can.. still play some games, while your TV is in use. If someone's watching TV, great. Have at. Also, whereas, you're not swinging it around wildly to play Wii Sports, the U still accept WiiMotes and Nunchucks and the like, but gives the Wii U a whole new set of controls to play such games... If I'm reading this correctly. Hm.. I think I can dig it. Now Release it, NIntendo. xD It's more than a wii with a tablet control. Watch videos about it.

Turns out the postal strike only slows down stuff, it's not halting the mail. O: I really don't think they would be able to do that anyways.
Also, I'm almost done with my battle frontier team. :3c Just leveling up Scizor now, like, six levels.Oh, ok. I'll make that the point of my walk tomorrow then.
I haven't really touched Pokemon since I got DQ9. sweatdrop
You can wait for the strike to end if you want to. :3 I don't mind waiting.
really? O: I haven't tried it yet. I kind of want to get it.Who knows how long that'll be? xd Might as well do it now.
It's really good. If you can find a copy I'd recommend it.

Wantcookie bleu_flame Wantcookie bleu_flame Wantcookie Watchin' Nintendo's E3 presentation, came into it late, I have no idea exactly what the WiiU does that's different, but the EA CEO certainly likes it. Wait, it's a handheld thing? EDIT: Looks like it works a little like the GBA link did for Four Swords Adventures. Unimpressed because they've done it before, but impressed by the new potential that exists due developments in tech since then. I don't understand what you're trying to say. xd "Wait, it's a handheld thing?" o -o I was basically pointing out that it was a console, and that was the controller you saw. Once again, the edit and comparison to Four Swords Adventures is right there. Look, I've bolded it for you. xd I thought it meant that you thought it worked with the Wii.

Totally worth it though. Best RPG I've played in a while; it's simple and lighthearted but not without substance.

I once found a cave with six Dungeons in it. razz WylrPnufh I do like... basically the only screen they're showing, with Zelda, where it's a console Zelda game, and your Inventory is in your hands at all time. .-. While I liked the ideas in the E3 video, I'm not liking the idea in the Zelda picture where the action is on one screen and your inventory on the other. It works for the DS because the screens are right next to each other, but here you'll have to keep looking back and forth whenever you want to switch weapons or something. It'd work with a turn-based game like Pokémon, but not so much with a real-time battle system like Zelda has. I want to see a new Pokémon Snap on the WiiU, though. You could use the controller as the camera! biggrin

I could see it being really convenient once you got used to it (and making dungeon-diving much more continuous than always pausing to change items did).
Then again, I'm the kind of person who plays the s**t out of a game and would probably commit most of the important items' positions to memory, so that might factor in. xd
Also, I want to see a new Pokemon Snap period.

Also, I want to see a new Pokemon Snap period. Boss fights are the main reason I don't like the idea. So long as the sword is perma-equipped (which every console Zelda has done), you can clear the room of enemies and then deal with any inventory-switching puzzles. In boss battles, that second or two where you can switch items is generally the second or two where the boss is powering up their super-powerful attack. gonk I would buy the WiiU for a Pokémon Snap sequel.
