Monty turned, slapping the elf's hand away from him. "I don't want you to say anything just to please me, damn you." He snarled. "I want you to leave me alone so I can do my job without worrying that your going to bring something else up from your past and pin it on me." Again he turned sharply on his heel and walked away.

Looking hurt once more, Kalore didn’t follow him this time as he took a step back, bringing his hand up to his chest, “I didn’t mean to, Monty… I’m sorry…” His voice was just loud enough for the other to hear him. Sighing softly, he shook his head. There were more important things going on for them to worry about this, and Kalore felt like a jerk for feeling worse about this than even the twin’s own deaths. It was bad but… Monty was something that he wanted to keep close to him and he was unable to. Sighing softly, he soon was shaking his head, starting to slowly just head back into the house. Kalore would simply put up his normal front and just say that it was nothing major. No big deal. But it was a big deal. A huge deal.

The demon ignored Kalore as he was taking an unused route to get to Gambler so that they have all of the papers and get this thing underway for Raul to follow up on. Hell, he was willing to work with the male in finding clues and rogues.

Coming up to a really bad neighborhood where things were broken down, gangs, pimps and their properties where there, drug dealers and serial killers hid there in the same location as Gambler's office. Entering a broken down building and going up to the top floor, which was a third floor, it was just broken as outside was.

Opening the door to the last door on the floor, he entered into a nicely decorated office. Looking around he spotted his boss on the couch with her knees drawn up to her chest, her face buried against them with a pile of papers next to her and her shoulders moving.

Sighing softly, he pushed his anger away for a bit to wrap his arms around her her and cradle her. After he let her have her fill he was going to drag her, if necessary, to Joker's house to get this rogue thing underway.

Kalore was entering the room the same time Edward came in, a cat like grin on his face. Raul knew the look well as he looked up at him, raising a brow. The demon simply grinned, “Where is everyone? We’ve got some interesting news…” “We?” Rave frowned, glancing around the demon but he saw nothing. The man simply grinned wider, “The boy… Kae, I believe his name is… He’s quite fun… and right now he’s sitting in the hallway with his legs crossed and his arms around himself… it’s really an adorable pose.” Kalore frowned and soon was checking up on the boy. He knew that he probably shouldn’t have, but there was no way…

But there he was. Sitting just as the other had said was Kae, looking terrified but not moving. There were gashes on his arms that matched Edward’s own marks. “What… What happened…?” Edward simply continued to grin as he shrugged, “Who knows? But Cassandra found the other hunter and is getting rid of her… But there’s still two out there that we haven’t been able to track down. He doesn’t know the name of the leader, but he knows the other Hunter. Only… no one knows where that one is… Not even this kid. Cassandra’s finding out now.”

Fast and efficient. It was how things were done with them, but that was only because they really knew what to look for. With the rogues? They had no clue.

After a while, Gambler washed up her face but was still feeling like hell and took up the papers to head out of the office with Monty.

Entering the house in record time, the boss went into the kitchen, not looking at anyone and placed the papers down on the table, sitting there in silence.

Monty sat next to her and looked over the paper, both unaware that something was wrong and off and that Edward brought Kae into the house.

Raul frowned and looked at Edward, blinking at him and the demon pouted, soon moving to get Kae to just be against the wall of the house outside, leaning against it beside him. The others wouldn’t like them bringing someone into the house, but that didn’t stop the demon from trying. Standing out there with a kid beside him was annoying; especially when he couldn’t feed off of him or do anything fun with him. Well… not yet.

Sighing softly, Raul shook his head once more before looking up at Gambler, “Gambler… We found something already, if you wish to focus a bit on that.’ He was watching her and then straightened a bit, hearing Cassandra come in. She looked different; her hair darker, her skin paler, and her body once more becoming that sickly form. “What did you find?” She simply shrugged, “We still can’t track down the leader, but two are dead and one’s been captured.”

Raul nodded in approval before looking at Gambler, blinking slowly. They were efficient in what they did, but finding the leader was becoming something of an annoyance. Twenty four hours tended to be the group’s deadline, seeing as they liked to get things done quickly and professionally. But whoever this leader was was becoming something of an annoyance. Speaking softly in French once more, more out of habit than anything else, the man was trying to see if the other two knew the names of the leader and Cassandra shook her head. “No.” “Damn…”

Gambler looked up and nodded though she wanted to say something sarcastic about the leader but nothing could be confirmed and it could be that she was angry at Kyin, just wanting to blame everything on him, punch him in the face and be done with it already.

Sadly life wasn't that easy. "I would like to know what you have gotten. I'm sure you have something more useful than anything we all have been able to get." She said, giving Raul and his people praise for their efficient way of doing things.
PostPosted: Thu Nov 11, 2010 2:50 pm

Raul nodded his head in thanks to the compliment before looking at Cassandra, nodding for her to get her story together as he glanced over back at Gambler. “Edward has one of their people… it’s a weaker one, but… it’s one of their people and we were able to get rid of two of the Hunters because of this. He was inside for a moment… but now they’re outside.” He should have had Edward ask for permission by Joker to have the Hunter come into the home, but he had been distracted. Something that he shouldn’t’ have allowed.

Kalore was back in the room, not even looking at Monty as Eldin was near Rave, looking confused, “Isn’t that dangerous or something?” Cassandra gave a curt laugh, amused as she shook her head, “Not in the state that kid is in.” Her reddish eyes looked intriguing as she shook her head once more, chuckling. Raul gave a sharp word and the woman stilled, the man soon looking at the others, shaking his head, “He’s… He’s not a threat anymore.” Not with the hold that Edward had on him.

“Would you like us to bring him in so we can get all of this done at once, Gambler?”

Nodding, Gambler straightened up with her hands together on the table. Without meaning to, she looked scary in her calm state versus her usual cheeky and fun demeanor that she uses to get even the evil villians to like her.

Monty stood next to his boss in case anyone should make a threatening move toward her. Now that the twin's who were her bodyguards in situation was like this, he took it upon himself to do so. Only he wasn't concerned about the Hunter, just cautious about Edward.

Nodding, Raul gave a command of ‘Edward, come in’, but it was once more in French. It wasn’t long before the demon came in, grinning widely with the boy behind him, the marks on his arms identical to Edward’s own, only they weren’t red like they should have been. A deep violet, matching Edward’s now violet eyes were replacing the bloody look that should have been there. “You called, Rauly?” He grinned more as he was leaning against the wall, “Sit, kid.” The boy soon was sitting down, his eyes dead.

The kid was someone that looked near Eldin’s age, about the same size that he had been a few months ago, but with looks that obviously came from Silia’s straight brown hair and black eyes. He was shaking, trying to fight against whatever it was that the demon had him in, but he wasn’t strong enough. If a rogue seraph wasn’t strong enough to break it, then of course some elf wouldn’t be able to either. Cassandra and Raul didn’t even blink at the display as Cassandra pushed off the wall a bit to take the seat before Edward could, sighing softly.

“We found two of the Hunters, but they’re already gone. When I was getting information out of them, they said that they didn’t know who it was that was in charge because who it was that they were getting their orders from was someone that changed all the time, except for one little detail that told them that it was the same person.” Rave raised a brow, but Cassandra continued, trying to remember the name that they had used. “I hate elvish names… they said that it was his eyes, something that only one family had…” She was snapping her fingers a bit, trying to remember it before she looked over at Edward.

“You were there. What did they say that it was like?” The man snickered and his eyes went off of Gambler and Monty, resting on Kalore. “They said that they had the eyes of some high up family of the elves… not Dusky’s family, but something that, in a way, was higher. They were a bright, vivid green that was too much like a Marcessa’s to be anything but one of the three left.”

Joker came in when they were talking and gasped. "What?! You must be joking." He said but Gambler knew the truth, or suspected it. It was Kalore who spoke of his suspicions and it took three people to comfirm it. "I see. Tell me, is this the same person who has been using demons to do his bidding and gathering them from someone by the name of Lech?" She asked, already having someone put out a hit order on the man for doing something worse than usual.

Monty licked his lips at the implication and curled his hands into fists and wanting to give something back to Lech. Yet perhaps they could wait for a time when he least expected it. That was better.
PostPosted: Thu Nov 11, 2010 3:34 pm

Cassandra blinked a few times, “I heard nothing about a man named Lech… but we can find out, can’t we?” She looked back at Edward who was grinning, his eyes glowing just a bit as the boy cried out softly, nodding quickly, “Y-Yes!” The glow stopped and he was still grinning. Edward was practically high from the fear that he was getting from the other. Everyone around would see a child that had dead eyes, but that was because he was trapped and the demon was feeding off of the fear that he had contained inside of him. It was quite… nice.

Fists clenched, Kalore simply nodded, looking away. On top of everything else that was going on, he couldn’t believe that he had actually been right. His eyes closed a bit as he soon was muttering, “We need to find him…” There was no question on who it was, now, but finding him was something that he didn’t know if they would be able to do. Kyin surely wouldn’t go back to the tower… but where else would he go? Kalore’s eyes widened just a bit as he realized that there was another place that he knew very well that he would go to.

"I'm very disappointed to know this." She looked at Kalore with shuttered eyes. "I know who the leader is Kalore. I think we all have an idea of it, so if you know places other than the tower let us know so we can at least put surveillances on the place."

The seraph looked at Monty. "I know this gives you leaverage to break Lech, but not now. Not when he might find out about us taking his contact." She said, waving her hand at Kae. "Rave, do what you know best with this boy. I suggest you take him to your peoples court or something." Gambler didn't want to put a bullet in this brats head. She's seen enough younglings dead to last her a while.

"As for you three, you have been amazing. Thank you." Though that didn't mean everything was done yet and that getting to Kyin to bring him down was in the palm of their hands. Hell no. Kyin was powerful.

So was everyone in this group with the three senior members having more years on them versus the elf, however, they didn't know what powers he possessed which put them at a huge disadvantage and even if they did understand the extent of what he could do that didn't mean they would be able to take him out.

"The only thing we have is that he doesn't know that we know he's been behind this." Her mind was rolling and didn't mention Kyin's name as she was staring at her hands. "Perhaps we can play it dumb for a bit to flush him out. Make him feel safe enough that we won't get near him in suspecting he's behind it. What do you think Rave?"

Kalore nodded, knowing that Gambler knew. Once again he had that urge to make sure, just for a fact. It was something that he had been trying to prove for just too long, and now he didn’t have to try and prove it. What he had to do was just watch them as he bit his lip softly, nodding. “I know of someplace… But…” He sighed softly, running a hand through his hair, “Just, if there’s a fight… don’t destroy the place… It’s an important building.” He sighed once more as he took out his phone, leaning down to see if the security had been shut off at all lately, sighing once more.

Nodding to Gambler, it wasn’t long before he was blinking slowly, “We are not done yet, but thank you for the thanks.” Raul sighed softly before gesturing for Edward to hand over the boy. He wasn’t surprised when the grip on Kae’s shoulder ended up tightening. “Mine…” Grumbling, he didn’t want to give the boy over. His mind was something that he could explore and taint and destroy for as long as he wanted, because he had a strong enough will to keep himself from completely breaking.

Rave sighed softly, shaking his head. He had a feeling that the demon wasn’t going to be giving him up anytime soon, but that didn’t mean that he was going to let the kid be tortured. “He needs to be taken in front of the council…” “No… he’s a Hunter that betrayed his people and mission… death on sight… I know your rules, elf.” Rave frowned before looking at Gambler. There was no need to have force at the moment, but he didn’t like to see a kid completely tortured, even if it was a Hunter. Sometimes even Rave went soft.

Shaking his head, Raul gave a look to Edward and the demon simply moved the boy some, the child fading. “There… you don’t even need to see him anymore.” Shrugging some, it wasn’t long before he crossed his arms, the scars completely visible as he was behind Cassandra, raising a brow, “What is it that you want us to do, Raul?” The large man simply watched Gambler, “We still have twenty hours… What do you want us to do?” It wasn’t that their contract ended in twenty hours, but that was the limit that they set on themselves.

Gambler looked at Edward. "I would like for you to hand over the boy to Rave so that he can deal with him properly. Otherwise, if you want me to unleash my demon on you, then by all means piss him off and lets watch an amusing show." She drawled, giving him a look that spoke volumes about her tolerance at the moment.

Monty narrowed his gaze on the demon. "I wonder how you would feel if you went back to the Old Hags, boy." He growled, already thinking that it wouldn't be nice sending him back to those hags after hearing alot of stories when he was a kid.

"Kalore, if anything let's try to flush him out of this location. If not and any damage done to the place will be restored as if nothing ever happened. I promise." She looked at him with sincerity and a confidence in her abilities that she shared with her counterpart Monty. "Other than that.....We need to know if this leader is having an ties with rogues because if so, then his head and the heads of those rogues need to be mounted on my wall. Who objects to that?" Joker raised his hand to that.
