Jaho, Mini and Pyre both have some IRL issues interfering with much of their online activity at the moment, I don't know if they've discussed your thread yet or not, but I think if they did, there'd be something to the effect mentioned in the thread itself, or a response to your query.
I know Pyre is trying to get something done about the absentee crew, but I honestly couldn't say how much is actually going to get done in the near future. But hopefully things will get resolved soon.
and *shrug* I think your thread would have gotten a better reception if it was more a "Sig Signs for random people" thread, where anyone could request or give a sig sign for anyone else, over a "Sig signs for Jahoclave" thread. *shrug* Still, I'm hoping that Pyre and Mini can agree on something soon, instead of leaving it "on hold" :/

*ahem* The word is "nepotistic."
Mini and I are trying to resolve the moderator issue, as Ray mentioned. However, it is a bit difficult to really get in touch with each other. Mini has been in the process of moving and will be out of town until Tuesday, and when she IS able to be around, more than likely something comes up in my own life that I have to deal with.
Concerning your thread... it was locked because of the attention whorish nature of it. It's the same reason we no longer allow journal posts. People get sick of "look at me" topics and "pity me" threads. Rarely is something in your life so bad that you absolutely NEED other people's opinions on what to do, and if something really terrible happens, we'll let it slide. But otherwise... we expect it to be kept to journals.
If all you really want is the sigs, Jaho, then make a more general topic. I've already approved it and I don't think Mini would have a problem with it, either. If you just want something to b***h about, then, by all means, continue.

I don't mind needing glasses. I don't mind the fact that I need thick glasses.
But I hope they make the lenses about the same size so there isn't one thick side and one thin side. That will annoy the crap out of me.

It's not really calling anyone a n00b, it's more being away of something called "human nature".
Every one of us as humans desire attention, right? Well, I could see how such a thing could become a trend. Person A makes a topic solely for the purpose of asking others to proclaim how great he is via a picture. Person B makes Person A a picture, and starts to think "Gee golly whiz, if he can do it, why can't I?" So Person B makes another topic. This goes on and on until everyone gets sick of seeing the s**t and mass drama breaks out. This can be contained if one topic were to be made, and that's one in which everyone can participate in. Like a "ego-boosting picture" exchange thread.
Oh gee! Fancy that. Pyre had suggested that in the thread that had been locked, but what it seems that you're unwilling to compromise. surprised I guess this isn't a matter of an "incompetent staff". It seems to be more of an issue with you just wanting things to go your way. Compromise and get over it. Seriously, it's a fickle matter. Rules are rules, and they're only looking out for the best of the guild.

It's points like this, where I've just spent the past two hours listening to Cayli complain and cry over her boyfriend/ex-boyfriend, that I am really glad I don't have a boyfriend. Yayme! =)
