She sat there idly waiting for a bite while her two Pokemon played tag close by. Rlats was it and could seem to reach Ghastly who was floating above her. Ghastly gave out a small friendly laugh seeing as Ralts could not reach. "Hey! Be fair Ghastly!" Mitsu said with a smile on her face keeping one hand on the rod. A few moments later the rod shook.

Standing off to one side of Kasiya's battle, she watched in awe as the two trainers faced off, their pokemon participating in a vicious fight. The growlithe biting and clawing, the charmeleon looking rather angry at the sudden attacks, Jenna watched her first pokemon battle with wide eyes. As the wounds mounted, she averted her eyes.

Kevin walked along the path, kicking a rock as he went. He looked up at the sky, thinking about how things would go from here. He wondered if it would just be him and Squirtle, traveling from town to town with no one else to talk to. Suddenly, Kevin's thoughts were interrupted when he walked straight into a sign and fell down.
"Ow! What hit me?" he said looking up at the sign. It read "Viridian City - The Eternally Green Paradise".
"Oh, we made it Squirtle." Kevin said, a little suprised. "May as well head over to the Pokemon Center and rest." he said while getting up and brushing himself off and then headed off to the bright red roofed building.

The Old Rod began shaking and more stronger each time. Finally as Mitsu drew in the Pokemon a flash of red color could be seen.  Wild Magikarp appeared! Level: 13 Attacks: Splash Items Held: None.

Its mouth clamped firmly shut, it struggled but to no avail against the much stronger Charmeleon. Slowly but surely, it calmed down, sitting down and its breathing ragged, looking at the Charmeleon, its eyes respectful.

Kilik watched as the two Pokemon battled, helpless to do anything. He didn't want his Eevee to be harmed, so he didn't toss it into the fray. He looked as the Charmeleon grabbed the poor Growlithe, who was trying to get free of its grip.

Mike, unable to move throughout this whole battle, ran over to his Charmeleon and jst stared in awe. "Wow! Yo-You're so...you...YOU ARE SO COOL!" He said as he tackled his newly evolved friend.
The Charmeleon and Mike playfully wrestled for a few seconds untill he helped him up, Nitro was not so short anymore, so he could prove to be a more valuable compainion.
Nitro looked at Growlithe and smiled, and then pointed at Mike, signaling that there are nice people in this world, and that he should learn to trust his new trainer.

"Good thinking, Charmeleon!" Jenna called, releived that the rampaging canine had been brought under control. She thought of her pokemon, safe in it's ball, and was glad that she hadn't embarked on the journey to become a trainer.
"What happens now?" she asked no-on in particular.

Kilik looked over when he heard a voice. A girl with a Misdreavus was standing near the fray as well. The two fire Pokemon were calming down now. Kilik quickly ran over to examine the floating Ghost. "Incredible..." he said, staring into its eyes then at the jewels around its neck. "We never see these in Hoenn!" he laughed, examining it from all angles. "The closest thing we get is the occasional Shuppet or Duskull..."
