((Have I not already posted that I need Griffin? *Points up to 9th post from this one* If you are wondering why, Minatsuki is stuck, trying to get Lamen, who is not responding, as well as Tura not replying to Minatsuki's call for help.... Uhh I think I lashed out a bit. Sorry, I'm having issues in real life, though it doesn't effect my RP-ing schedule, not that there really is anything going on.))

((Sorry about that, Blood, I was trying to figure what all was going on with who but I was getting confused. I re-took control of Isaad in the hopes that it would allow us to move forward. But I am very reluctant to take control of somebody else's character. I just hope that Griffin can post soon.))

((Well, this is ridiculous! We're still waiting on creed, who said he was working on a post almost a week ago... and on all of the girls minus Blood... I'm still counting on creed to make that post, but it looks like I'm going to have to step in for some people here because they have been gone way to long, and without saying that they were going to be gone also. Raistlin, if Atomic is in other roleplays that you are in then get her attention and get her to make a post here.))

((No luck int he other role plays I'm in. They're all pretty much dead now. For some reason, the creator of those RPs has just up and vanished. The fact that she seems to play the main story character just makes roleplaying that much more difficult for everyone, so no one has been able to make a reply in ages. Also, I think Atomic has forgotten about this place.
As a side note, I'd like to apologize for not being tremendously active lately. I've been going about securing a summer job and recently got one (yay for me!) at a place I think I'll enjoy working. I would have started today but delays occurred and I don't have to come in until next week. It's full time exployment so my activity here will most likely decrease as well. I'll make an effort to check in as often as possible.
I miss playing Damiano... Mayhaps we shoudl just roll on without the others for now?))

((Yep, Looks like we're going to have to go on without Atomic and Griffin and Atomic, I don't know if we can count on either creed or gigashadow either... So we still have myself, Raistlin, Azure, and Blood? Is Mythee still with us? Gah, this is infuriating. Why does this always happen just when an RP starts to wind up too? Well, Raistlin, I'm gonna figure something out for you so that you can separate your character from Atomics. Blood, you're just going to have to change your plan there and try something else, because it looks like you're not getting a response. Azure and I will just have to wait until you guys can put an end to the castle deal and we can start the next day.
And, creed, I'm hijacking your character because you haven't been posting anyways, and I need Isaad and his cronies again.))
Raidek deftly withdrew his stalactite-arm from the former Guards chest and drew one of his hook-swords with the other. He stood his ground calmly for the whole instant before Isaad was upon him. There was a flash of steel on steel and then an abrupt explosion which, by mere chance, took him directly at the base of his earth-lance. The explosion shattered his earthy weapon and launched bits and pieces in a cloud of dust, debris, and rocky shrapnel.
This man is good for a guard. I never even knew he was casting. He could kill me before I knew it. Perhaps a little more discretion...
"Creo Dedecor." He said before the dust even began to settle, and then vanished from sight. Knowing that he could not maintain this spell for long he quickly retreated from the scene.
Isaad was surprised indeed when the murderers earth projection, seemingly merely by chance, intercepted his spell and deflected the damage away from his body. He had to suppress a brief flare of rage at his own misfortune, but he regained his composure in an instant. He turned to what remained of his men.
"Leave the bodies for now. I'll take over here with the Sage. You two scour the castle. Leave no stone unturned. Anybody capable of casting a spark is to be brought into custody. If they resist, kill them. There will be no rebellion here." He said, the last seeming more for himself than any other.
His men ran off in the direction of the castle entrance without a seconds hesitation. They knew full well what he was capable of and did not want to test his already strained patience.
"Now, Brantalis, you will tell everything I want to know..." Isaad said with a dark gleam in his eye while he held his blade up to the light as though checking the edge.
The two remaining Guards under Isaads command had made much haste returning to their search of the castle, they had no intentions of disappointing him. They had agreed to start in the Sages study. It would of course hold the most valuable information and magical secrets. As the inspected the room one of the two called to the other.
"Hey, look what I found."
"What's that?"
"There's a passage hidden in the wall. There was a door hidden in the wall behind this tapestry."
"We should check it out. If any mages are hiding that would be a good place to do it."
The two of them made their way into the passage and in only moments they could hear the sound of quiet footsteps. One of the two made a hand gesture suggesting the attack and the other nodded in agreement. They both readied their spells and leapt around a corner which brought into sight of a pair of mages just down another narrow corridor.
"Ignis Percussum!"
"Desumo Telum!"
((Btw: Those are the same fire explosion that Isaad used and an electric bolt...))

((Ahhh!!! I'm totally at a lost on what to do with Minatsuki... Blah, I might create a plot twist character just to keep myself amused.))
With everyone who could help her seemingly distracted, Minatsuki was at lost on any kind of action that she could take at the point, while she hid herself halfway from the entrance to the square grounds. She could definitely hear the busy footsteps around her, running around in collective frenzy, ready to pounce on anything suspicious that they might find; it was not an unfamiliar feeling to her. Pinching the edge of her cloak, she drew it tighter over her head, sinking deeper into the shadows as she began to creep away from the crowd, back towards the castle in hopes that there might be someone still left that was not out to get her.
The way she came through was still empty, as most of the soldiers already left the castle, but as she felt her way through the walls of the pitch black tunnel, she felt a small vibration ringing through the palms of her hands. It was not far, but it was not the direction in which she came from. Hoping that there might be someone she could help or help her, she continued on to the direction of the shock.

Despite what the imperial guards must have thought, Damiano was not one to be taken by surprise. Between his self and his companion, Damiano was usually completely aware. In this case, he had heard the echoes of footfalls, booted footfalls with the creaking of armour moving down the secret corridor. He cursed lightly under his breath when the noise slowed to a stop. The grave silence in that time, the brief moments he had before the attack, were all he needed to feed himself his dragon's ferocious power.
His pupils dilated to little black specks, his irises expanded to encompass most of his eyes. The startling change would have been enough to alarm almost anyone who hadn't seen this before. Beneath his cowl and robes, Damiano flesh and hair gained a slightly silver sheen. He had used the moment of silence to transfigure his self. Ready for combat, Damiano spun around on his heel to greet the intruders just as they lept out with this spells at hand.
Damiano heard their words. His mind worked at a quick pace. They were aiming spells at each of them, one for him, the other for Aiva. She was slow to react, she hadn't heard and he didn't have time to inform her. He had to fight for the two of them. This, Damiano thought ruefully, evened the odds quite a bit. As the enemy spells started to take shape, Damiano quickly assessed their nature and promptly entered the fray.
"Dissipi le magie!" shouted Damiano as he placed his right leg forward and made a quick, wide-arched slashing motion toward his opponents with his entire left arm. The magic flowed through him and extended into the world through his words. He watched as the energies of the enemy spells met with his spell. He was taught how to duel at a young age and even managed to hold his own against 4 other duellists once, for a time. He had improved since then and was sure his magic would not fail him. The spell he used, you see, was not an offensive or defensive spell. It was a spell used to dispel other magical energies; a wave of anti-magic.
He watched as the spells collided; leaving nothing, not even an explosion. He saw the enemies clearly, they must see him. He knew Aiva was there behind him, but he couldn't rely on her. Turning back to face her, he shouted for her to run, or so he thought at least. He was thinking so fast and acting with such speed he couldn't see past the blurred images in his mind. Once again his enemies were before him. He laughed, he had to. They were two mediocre soldiers under the command of a half-rate commander. Damiano was a noble in his village, son to a powerful line of mages.
"Look upon me, imperial soldiers, and know that you Face Damiano Partigiano of the Maghi Anima. Know that I have taken upon myself my companion's power as well as my own. You face a noble-born magus of a high and noble order. You will not win. I give you this one chance to return to your master and beg him to leave this palace. Do you accept?" At this, Damiano pulled down his cowl to reveal the changes to his person. His startling change in eyes, the silver colouring to his hair and skin, he seemed to be completed changed physically due to his companion's power. Damiano only looked human in figure. Standing his ground at full guard, Damiano had a multitude of spells at the ready in case these soldiers didn't stand down.

((Hey all, I'm afraid my replies may be a bit slow this summer. I have found a job and I will be working full time, at least for the summer. Also, I'll be spending my time in a dead-internet zone. I won't be able to connect or anything, that is, until I work something out with my uncle or manage to find an unsecured signal for my laptop.
I'll try to reply on weekends. Please bear with the delays sweatdrop ))
((Might I also add that in my post I had to change a word or two because gaia has sensored certain words, apparently. The sound effect c h i n k apparently isn't registered as a sound effect so much as a racist term. Go figure rolleyes ))

The hair on the back of Minatsuki's neck rose as goosebumps rose on her arms. She involuntarily stopped in her path and shivered; the sudden stillness in air caused her to hold her breath. It was faint, but she heard the whisper of a voice down the passage way, though the explosions and fighting sounds she had expected were nowhere to be expected. Quickening her steps, Minatsuki moved through hastily and quietly as she could, tension high in the air.
Not long after, she could see two lump of shadows protruding in the light that shone from the doorway out, and slowed down, still remaining in the shadow. She crept closer to figure out the identity of the two shadows, hopefully one of her companions, but stopped her path and sunk back into the darkness once she caught the glimpse of the red armor. Minatsuki almost ran back inside the passageway out of instinct, but stopped herself when she had realized that they weren't moving from where they stood, as if something was blocking them. This gave a new hope that someone that was not out to get her might have been there.
She did not want to retreat from the newly found hope, as small as it may be, and spread her arms to the walls of the passage, measuring its width. It wasn't wide enough for her to swing her sword fully, and if she jumped them, all she could do was take one of them out, giving the other one time to recuperate. Minatsuki bit her lower lips, trying to come up a better way, not wasting any time or movement, just one hit for each of them. She might have spared a few seconds longer pondering, but once she had heard Damiano's proud proclamation, she scowled, drawing her sword and rushing forward. Taking long full strides, Minatsuki slammed her sword down and used it to catapult herself towards one of the soldier's head, taking them by the surprise.

((Sorry, guys, for the MASSIVE delay in getting out an in character post. Raistlin, you did not respond at all how I had expected you to to my last post and it completely threw me off. And then with no idea of how to respond writers block hit upside the head like a giant anti-roleplaying two-by-four... Anyways, sorry for the delay....))
The two soldiers, Barun and Noviil, watched as the young mage dissipated their spells, both at once, and then removed his cowl to reveal a not entirely human face. Both were quite shocked, they had heard of forms of magic where the mage and creature combined their powers and the line between their forms blurred, but it was thought that all such spells had been lost for centuries. To see one of those legendary spells, being used against them, and by a mage so young, was shocking and frightening simultaneously.
Barun drew his sword out of reflex more than anything else but once it was in his hand the wheels in his mind began to turn once more. He quickly shifted into an offensive stance and unsealed his bonded creature. A heavy dark brown Leowulf, like the ones the other Guards had. His partner Noviil also drew his sword once he had seen Barun draw his and unsealed his own, smaller gray, Leowulf as well.
"We don't care who you are. If you surrender now you may yet be allowed to live. If you resist we will have no choice but to use deadly force." Barun said, and readied a spell in his mind to counter the resistance that he was sure was coming.
