I'm surprised he's still attacking you considering he hasnt gotten a single resource back.

Quote: You have just traded 0 wood, 0 clay, 0 iron, and 59388 wheat for 26836 wood, 9734 clay, 22818 iron, and 0 wheat. The NPC merchant charged you 3 gold. Normally I try trading my wheat to other players at 3:2, but as I was gone pretty much all day yesterday I had an unhealthy level of wheat excess. I feel much better after this. biggrin Edit: Final distributions (for the curious) were [Wood] 40000/80000 [Clay] 40000/80000 [Iron] 40000/80000 [Wheat] 3417/80000 I still have a good 20k wheat excess at Dunharrow, so I'm not really afraid of shortage. Re-Edit: I cannot believe how convenient it was, allowing for complete redistribution. I thought it was going to be similar to a traditional merchant, only being able to trade a clump of wheat for a equal clump of one of the other resources, not the fluid exchange it turned out to be. I had been afraid I'd need to do NPC merchant three times to have achieved this effect.

The last shipment of resources to Rising Phoenix is enroute; it'll stand on its own from there out, with all four of the booster buildings in place and maxed. Both villages will then commence resource leveling... Rising will be going the siege engine & swordie route, Haven will will be devoted to cavalry (once all the fields are 15+). I want to be able to field several hundred Haeduan, and that's going to require a metric assload of wheat (3w upkeep).

Ellie, as things are going, you may be able to use my camps to supply extra troops that you don't have food for for the time being. My men are going to be out wandering the landscape for a while as my villages build up. Take it into consideration.

It's going to be a while yet before I've got resources and infrastructure in place... but I'm much closer now than I was a week ago.

Finally! blaugh blaugh blaugh After untold days of shunning all other builds for the sake of my hero's mansion, the oasis is mine! It is strange being able to once again build things every day.
Edit: That's weird. With a 25% bonus from 914, I should be at 1143/hr. Instead I am at 1111/hr. I have been cheated out of 32/hr clay production!

What level are your fields, do you have plus resource boost active, do you have a brickworks? If I have raw values I can try to recreate how the final number comes about.

*sigh* Thanks, but it's okay. Knowing why won't make more resources anyways, so I will spare you the calculations. 3nodding
Are you rapidly running out of raiding grounds? Mine have been narrowing down to about three that I send raids out to once or twice a day, which I figured were inactives. However, one has now vanished and the other allied up, so no more raiding. crying Mind you, I still think I can take him and his alliance, but I will behave... if only because my catapult factory isn't up and running yet! I need to sink more into resources and building upgrades, and possibly found another village, before I am ready to army build to any significant degree.
Was anyone out there still needing extra defenders? They are one thing I can pump out easily if needed.

There are only a few good farms left around me, and I've got agreements with people from nearby alliances that basically say I can't raid them on certain days. xd It rather sucks.

And thus why I love the area i'm in.
Aside from the Berserks, which I actually have an accord with, LLJK, and =SS=, it's all weaklings. So, quite often I make new farms when the old ones stop being profitable. Another few days and i'll have catas ready to roll, and for the time being Teutonic Knights will suffice for clearing out troops.

Does anyone in my area mind if I keep raiding Bladedancer? He's joined up with an alliance, but it is a small one with no other allies or connections. I have sent him one friendly email in the past which he replied to rather shortly, so I have no desire to be overly nice to him. And once my siege weaponry is up and running, they need someone to practise against and my hero desperately needs leveling. pirate
Edit: I sent scouts, and he still has no troops. So much for leveling my hero. evil

For those that think I'm a spineless peacenick (*snicker*)... dufus86 decided to smack sephiroth_98 last night in response to a minimal raid. I lobbed 150 or so Phalanxes over as backup for seph, and waited up until the attack hit. His forces were smashed or trapped. When the defense went so well, I decided to lay a bit of smackdown on the dufus so he'd know that HME stands together. Between this attack and this attack, I cleaned out everything he had left at home and got a nice haul of goodies that paid for everything I'd lost and a bit extra. He should be farmable for anyone close by, now. smile Phoenix HavenPopulation: 630 Wood: 1250/hr > 0 @ Level 11 > 4 @ Level 10 Clay: 1250/hr > 0 @ Level 11 > 4 @ Level 10 Iron: 1295/hr > 2 @ Level 10 > 2 @ Level 9 Wheat: 1248/hr > 3 @ Level 10 > 3 @ Level 9 Level 15: Academy, Main Building Level 14: Marketplace, Trapper Level 13: Granary (21400), Warehouse (21400) Level 12: Palisade Level 11: Trapper Level 10: Cranny 1 (2000 hidden), Hero's Mansion, Palace, Stable Level 9: Stone Mason Level 7: Blacksmith Level 6: Barracks Level 5: Armory, Brickworks, Flour Mill, Iron Foundry, Rally Point, Sawmill Level 4: Bakery Level 3: Embassy 140 Traps 150 Phalanx 9 Swordsmen 78 Theutates Thunder 01 Pathfinder 01 Hero Mercenaries: 1 Pathfinder on load to Rising Phoenix for scout detection Maint: 953/2201 Intended Build: Bakery to L5. Silkara Nice! xd He's obviously not willing to stay a farm easily by the rapid rebuild of troops, but really, he should know better. pirate He's lucky he's not in my neck of the woods. I've been known to send the main attack, then the second wave consists of one group of 50-60, followed by 5 or 6 groups of 20-30 in about 5 minute intervals. It means I generally fight one guy at a time. It's like spawn camping! mrgreen
