Shai was a odd fox. Yet it wasn't his fault he had not been in the tribe a long time. He had once been a half adult, but now his new body was appealing. His red eye's eyed the sky, he was home. Where had he been? Well, lost. Yes, Shai had gone to hunt month's ago, and somehow ended up in a huity. Don't ask for the story, for it is long.
Shai smelled his home, would they recongize him? Would they welcome his presence? Or.....would he be nothing but a stranger? Would they banish him now? His tattoo was a sign he was one of them though, and so he pressed on, until he was at the edge of his home. He sat on his haunches now, awaiting someone to see him and cry out in joy. However, he wasn't patient, and so he began to bark, like a tamed dog. Suprise? Very.

Trusting Anjafey would keep her promise, Ari rose, intending to follow Heartbreak and Kazuki. But a new sound caught his attention--one like a barking dog?
Odd. As far as he knew, there were no dogs on Lunarie lands.
"I'm going to go see what that was," he said, to no one in particular, and left the clearing where the party was, to investigate.
Coming to the source of the sound, Ari stopped, not quite believing what he was seeing.
"Shai...?" He asked, not quite willing to give into hope just yet.

"Ari?" Shai asked himself, Ari looked a little different. Don't ask how, he just did. It might've been since he had been gone so long. But he was like Peter Pan, he forgot anything had happened before. Only that somehow he had been seprated from his tribe for a long time. Hopeless? Sure!

It was Shai!
Ari's body sagged in relief, even though he hadn't realized how tense he had been feeling about the missing member. Well, there had been the occasional thought of Shai hurt or lost or dead or something equally drastic...
But he was glad to see that those thoughts were nothing more than his imagination getting carried away.
"The tribe is having a party to celebrate some new members, and congratulate Amira and Nato on becoming mates. And I suppose it's a bit of a farewell party for my daughter as well...You can tell me about what happened on the way back to the clearing, if you want."
Shai had been missing for so long, Ari could barely remember who the hunter had or had not met. He supposed there would be more introductions to do, though, once they got back to the clearing.

"Alright." Shai's face looked crumpled at the words that Amira was with Nato. Trotting up, he stood beside Ari, his tail wagging joyfully. He was home! Finally! And maybe Nuishan, his sister. would join the tribe to! He had asked her when he had first joined. Maybe she was going to join one day, but right now, he wanted to see his home, and party!

Nato wondered what Kazuki and Heartbreak were both up to but he supressed the urge to follow and continued eating and watching the others. Every so often he would glance to his side and see Amira. He was so glad to have finally admitted his feelings to her.
Then a strange sound caught his ear. A barking noise. Huh, that was weird. Nato watched as Ari went off to find the noise. Knowing that Ari could handle anything that was out there, Nato turned is attention back to all of the younger foxes having fun playing around.

They reached the cleaning soon enough, where everyone--bar Kazuki and Heartbreak--were. At least having the tribe together would make introductions easier. And Shai had to know Kazuki--the other elder had been one of the original members, before the tribe had even become official.
And Heartbreak...Well, she wasn't a member of the tribe, so it didn't matter all that much if Shai didn't meet her.
"Everyone, look who I found," Ari called out, voice carrying across the clearing.
Sigal turned to look across the clearing when Daddy shouted something. She stared at the new modi--who had a Lunarie tattoo?
Confused, Sigal went over to her father.
"Who is he?" she asked. Then, realizing she was being rude, she glanced away, blushing slightly.
"This is Shai, one of the tribe hunters. Shai, this is one of my daughters, Sigal."
Sigal who took after her mother and wanted to live in daylight, and was leaving the tribe lands...Ari tried not to sigh at the thought.
And then he realized Shai probably wouldn't have heard about the whole Heartbreak forced mating thing. He hoped he wouldn't have to explain that. That was just awkward.

Nato looked up as he heard Ari speak. Was that Shai? Quickly, Nato got up and walked over to him.
"Welcome back, Shai. Its good to see you again." It seemed forever ago that Nato had watched Shai attack and kill some bear. It was good to have the hunter back.
((I hear that Lunarie has another shaman biggrin ))

Anjafey picked herself up off the ground and walked over to Shai and Ari. "It's good to have you back," she said softly. "We were all worried." She shot Ari a knowing smile; he had practically fallen to pieces once or twice wondering.

"Hello, Sigal." He said, bowing his head in respect to Heartbreak. He looked at the crowding modifoxes, and ashamedly lowerewd his ears. "I'm sorry I left for awhile. However, Nuishan, a sister of mine, wishes to know if she can meet you all. She want's to be a shaman or scout one day, if she can join." He knew it was sudden. But Nuishan had wanted to always be with her brother, and soon.

"Since Kin'iro came, we don't have any need for more shamans." Ari gestured to the golden fox who was currently playing tag with her black red and purple sister, and Michie, the kit who never seemed to grow.
"There is, however, room for more scouts. While Rendo does a good job, even he can't do it all alone."
"Hi, Shai," Sigal said, to be polite. It seemed all of the older foxes knew him, and were worried about him.
Now she was kind of sad to leave the tribe. She didn't want to leave some place like this where everyone cared so much for everyone else.
But she didn't fit in at all. And there were other tribes, so maybe one of them would be just as good? She hoped so.

Nato's ears perked up as he heard that Kin'iro was to be a shaman. So he finally wouldn't have to watch over and tend to every member by himself. This was good news. Although, still being a kit, she would need some training. The tribe seemed to be growing rather quickly these days.

Padding over to where many of the others had gathered, Amira watched the procceedings. It was good to see that Shai was home safe. Walking over to Nato, she nuzzled her mate. A new shaman? That was unexpected, but it was good that the tribe was growing. Shai's sister would also be a new fox to add to their growing group. Smiling in happiness, she cuddled Nato again.
