And just as quickly, the platform came to a slamming halt, arriving at it's final destination. The gears were slagged, the 'riding' lines burnt beyond recognition; the platform was practically inoperable. Which also meant that Sunstrike was cut off from the group, by a fairly large margin. The three of them would find themselves within a small ante-chamber, a pair of red hewn doors the only exit. "......" Elsewhere... The fall... from grace. The doomed sinner. A family torn apart. Two brothers... with differences to settle. As much as the memories seemed to flow, they also seemed to ebb away. The great 'show' had come to an end, apparently. "....... ..... ....." Ezekiel was leaned against a tree, right hand outstretched and holding perch for a small sparrow. "I was pretty surprised at first." He broke the soft silence, and probaly jarred Lucind's mind back to reality. "Those two.... their 'power' is unbelievable." He lifted his hand a tad bit higher, getting a better look at the bird. "It's almost like a seal... And everything collects there and begins to grow... in the only way that fire can grow." The bird flitted away, as Ezekiel lowered his hand. "It's amusing... you know, they're identical in every way... and have wandered this planet for so long. We've been completely unaware of their existance up till now... Well... Actually we probaly really wouldn't be existing without them." He stared up and out passed the shattered ceiling of the garden. "Get it? They can exist all by themselves.Vahn... Victor... I don't know whether it's due to the spell or through evolution... but they aren't humans. They're really "devils"." Ezekiel turned his gaze ot Lucind, both eyes there and whole. "For decades, life on this planet has struggled to survive. All that time though, as we all struggled on, they merely watched from their Tower. And then..." Fresh images assaulted Lucind, the second encounter between Vahn and Victor.. which ended with the death of Ashe, and the totall annihilation of the Tower... into it's current form... as well as the entire region being torn asunder... the terrain transformed into nothing but a wasteland... a desert. It was enough to make even someone like Lucind stagger back from the intensity. "Pretty... scary, huh?" Ezekiel lowered his head. "We've been nearly wiped out once before... I doubt he's changed much at all, even from what I saw of him." He turned to stare outside once more, at the setting sun. "Not even we 'modified' demons...know the extent to which Victor's resolve goes."

Tellus struggled in Vahn's arms. " I don't like this. Not one bit." She sulked a little as she stood, slightly wobbling before glancing about.
"Oh damn and double damn... My MAKI!" She stomped her foot in frustration.

Sunstrike sneezed, then chuckled, as ash rained down upon him.
"Ohhhhh I'm gonna get into trouble for that..." He rubbed the back of his hand across his face, and blinked in surprise. It was still a hand, the pain was gone from the consatant need to stay human.
"Must've gotten over it..." He was puzzled really, he'd thought that any sort of magical involvement would do permenant damage. Then again, he looked at the palm, and snorted softly. A brown sun design started to show up between his thumb and index. So....he'd gotten used to the magic, integrated it, and got a mark for his troubles. Interesting.
He looked around quietly, and finally ended up walking through the door the hounds had come through, looking for more stairs to work his way up to the others.

"He'll be fine."
He casted one last glance towards the platform he was on, before turning to face the two women. "Maki...?"
He looked over at Tellus, more than a little lost. Right now he was in the worst possible situation... socially anyway. Two highly independent females and one rugged loner of a male.
Not exactly the kind of potent party formation you'd be comfortable with.
As for Sunstrike... upon exiting out the doors, he would find himself once more within the main chamber of the center of the Tower. From his new vantage point, he would be bale to easily make out several statues depicting skeletal angels; many of which seemed to be smirking about something.
To be more precise, Sunstrike was in the middle of the levels, on the left side of the circular stairs that spiraled up endlessly to who knows where.
If he went to the edge, and peered down he would be able to make out the first level, as well as the main floor. Unfortunately for the redhead... that's all he could do for the moment.. was look about.
He was cut off from advancing any further by immensely thick stone walls on either side.
Apparently it was good that Sun had blasted the rest of them further up the shaft.
Any attempts at leaping off the balcony's edge and flying up to the other levels would fail, as some unseen force prevented flight of any sort from happening.
He would just have to wait it out.

"May all the gods..." Deep breath. "DAMN ME FOR BEING A THRICE OVER FOOL-

Sun began to rant in another language...which was actually several other languages. The curses echoed over the hall...and when he was done he felt marginally better.
So....he crossed his arms and leaned against a wall, slumping, and waiting.

She placed a hand over her eyes and made a step backwards when the unexpected addition of memories shot through her mind. The woman muttered something, then looked up at Ezekiel.
"And you're still with him nontheless, although you know it might end in a complete disaster this time, an outbreak of erasing 'diabolical' power?" It was no reproach, just her interest in his person and character.
And there was something else Lucind wanted to ask. "By the way, all these memories - where did you get them from? How do you know all this?" Of course, she herself was able to save her memories, and the lhor aven had, among other things, the function of a huge 'database' of recollections. However, to create such a stream like the boy had just shown her, featuring all kind of angles and positions, Sirens had to combine several individual memories. And moreover, there had been moments which a third person could hardly have witnessed, like those moments between Vahn and Ashe...unless someone could make himself invisible...

"Yes. " She stomped her foot. "My nagamaki, that Dante gave me." Odd how natural the name came off her lips. Then again, despite years of calling him Mr. Decker, after someone kisses you,e ven drunk it's hard to call them Mister again.
Hopefully, she looked over at Hono and smiled. "Please please tell me you put my maki in that wonderful little space pocket of yours?"

stare gona keep a better eye on it this time? *a little hole into nothingness appeared at her side, reaching a hand in, the hand just dissapearing for a moment and then coming back out holding the shaft of the pole arm, the Nagatami emerging out of thin air as Rave offered it back to Tellus* Well Kaz dear, time for the next round I guess.. pick a direction... forwards or back down again?*and by that it was implied that Raven intended to force the elevator back down to get Sunstrike, even if she had to break it with huricane force winds to do it* sweatdrop

"How much more do you have to see until you realize you can't choose where you want to go? All we can do is keep moving forward. You want to stay behind and try forcing your way through this place, be my guest.
I'll come back for your corpse later."
He was more than irritated at this point, getting a little tired of all this running around and random battles or whatever.
He felt like he was in a video game.
Now I'm stuck with the two of them... just great. He silently mourned his lack of dealing with women.. well women like them anyway. Always made him friggin' feel uncomfortable... and blush on occasion.
Walking forward, he threw open the door--- only to find himself staring at the exact thing Sunstrike had seen.
"The... hell..?"
The trio would find themselves back along the circular stairway ramps that were built in the center of the Tower.
To be more specific, they were exactly one level above where Sunstrike was stuck.
By merely looking, the group would be able to spot numerous stone walls impeding any further access.. but straight ahead int he walkway, with the broken rubble and ruined stairs... it looked like if they climbed or jumped, or even flew they could advance somewhat.
"Well... at least we're going up."
Vahn's voice would echo out, catching Sun's attention.
Elsewhere...
"We are his... servants after all. He created us you see... human with demon... demon with human... artificial Devils.
We couldn't directly disobey him without using up all three command se--... well, that's not important."
Ezekiel waved his hand to the side, catching himself from saying maybe too much.
"Oh.. that? Well... you see, I was created using the genetic structure of both Vahn... as well as Ashe."
Yellowed eyes stared out, the pale face devoid of any emotion.
"I told you before.. 'I can feel the natural emotions of all living things'. A power derived from the Priestess' abilitiy of sumpreme perception... I am.. what you would call as a retainer... of stored memories and knowledge. I am.. after... that man's son."

Vahn Kyonuske "How much more do you have to see until you realize you can't choose where you want to go? All we can do is keep moving forward. You want to stay behind and try forcing your way through this place, be my guest. I'll come back for your corpse later." sad well fine then... be that way....*Rave snorted softly to herself and dropped the Maki in Telluses hand and crossed her arms over her chest, intent on simply following his lead... in silence, at least for as long as she remebered to keep her mouth shut* xp

"Vahn...Vahn!?" Sunstrike said his name first in surprise, and then a little louder as he leaned out of the hall to squint upwards. "Can you hear me!?"
His ears twitched lightly as he waited for a reply, eye's scanning the wall to see if he could lever himself up higher...
I hope they can hear...

His son.
The son of...
That meant - unless she'd misunderstood Ezekiel's words - Victor had taken his brother's genetic make-up and that of the priestress to create this boy. Or maybe even more beings like him. From a mere objective point of view it made somehow sense, 'breeding' such obedient creatures. The psychological aspect of this deed however...
Does Vahn know about this?
Also, Lucind wondered if the man was fully informed about his brother's plans and was now here to stop him.

((What's supposed to be the post order again?))
Tellus took her maki and blushed in embaressment. "Joy...looks like we get to play junkyard." She looked down, wondering if she was hearing things. ******** this...Obviously, this just wasn't going to cut it. She took a deep breath and shifted slowly, her ears moving higher upon her head and becoming pointer till they formed her vixen ears as well as the rest of her shifting to match that form. Once more she was in a form that brought back bittersweet memories. Now, she could make sounds out better.
"I could've sworn I heard something..."
