 Mwal groaned slightly at feeling the warm body leave his body. His head surged with protest as he slowly attempted lifting it to see where Koho had gone off to. Pain shot through his body- from his chest, his head, his shoulder... all over. Another painful snarl escpaped his lips- now caked with dried blood to such an extent that one would be led to think he had made a fresh kill. He let his body succomb to the pain and lowered his head back to the ground, the good majority of his large face resting in a large puddle of blood. His mouth opened slightly in case more came from his gut- no doubt it would. Mwali cursed his luck... he'd rather have died at the paw of his father than of a prey creature. His paw slid back over his eyes. The light pounded at his senses and hammered at his head like another set of hooves. He felt sick to his stomache- he wanted to eat but nothing would stay down... he wanted to drink but again it woudl only come back up again.

((sorry kaitsu! i'm so busy with the holidays n such.. i'll try to post more though kay? ^__^ ))  Wokovu's face scrunched a bit in thought.. "Striped.. oh i know what those are! they're called zebra." he grinned at what he knew before glancing around.. "Gazelles.." he blinked looking around.. ah those wierd things over there.
"Yea, we can get em!" the cub jumped a bit to show his enthusiasm.. "Lets go after onea the small ones.. i bet we could go through the grass that its grazing on.. and then jump it from two sides!" he nodded hoping his plan sounded good to his new friend.
He wasn't all that strong himself.. but he figured with them workign together they'd be real good.

"Sounds like a plan. I'll go over to the other side, I'm good at sneaking through the grass." Haveo smiled at Wokovu and started to move to the other side of the gazelle. He avoided moving any large rocks and sticks. He moved swiftly as if in a dance eyes set on the smallest of the minute herd. His ears were pricked listening the gazelle's movements. He smirked to himself feeling the rush of the hunt once again.

The cub nodded, slinking along to teh other side.. his sand colored fur blending with the golds of the dieing grass.. Normally mixed species hunting would have been frowned apon by any lion, but Wokovu was different. If anything he loved being with every species, and only hoped he could meet each one. This was probably due to his adopted mother..
slowly padding along careful of where he stepped, each soft step getting closer to the gazelle, its ears perking at the small sounds.. a panic on its face made somethign in the cub rush up. Jumping out infront of it he spooked the creature twards his new companion, quickly taking chase and attacking the creatures flank whenever the chance arose.

Haveo darted out of the grass directly at the gazelle. It dodged his first leap but wasn't able to move fast enough as he latched onto its throat for a few moments letting go. He grinned knowing that the bite would slow it down. Haveo ran quicker trying to keep in pace with the gazelle's leaps. He leaped up again getting its neck again motivated enough to hang on longer than last time not yet heavy enough to bring it down in one full force.

The other gazelle paniced and ran, leaving their companion behind.. As soon as the wild dog pup managed to slow it down he caught up to the neck, jumping onto the creatures neck witht eh pup digging his teeth and claws into its flesh. His grip slowly slipping as the prey tried to go on, desperate for survival.
The creature stumbled a bit, tripping and falling to the ground with both Wokovu and haveo clamped onto its neck. As soon as the warmth faded, signalling its life leaving Wokovu lesseend his death grip and stood up, smiling over their kill.

Haveo grinned at Wokovu the rush of the hunt feeling slowly disappearing. "We did it!" He bounced up and down. he turned to look at their kill stomach growling. "Well let's eat I suppose." Haveo tore open the soft underbelly blood leaking from the wide wound. He stood back looking it over wondering where to start.

Teule, having just come back from a successful session of hunting, trotted wearily but happily next to Taka, Taka, even though nearly full of stamina, was dragging her feet and tail just as Teule. Both had obtained a large amount of small fast and game and were headed back to their 'family'. Taka slowed and stopped, her nose was tingling with the settled scent of something very familiar. Blood? And something else...
"Hey, is the Mwali I smell? He seems far off..."
Oh no, Taka growled uneasily, picking up speed suddenly, leaving Teule to catch up at a sprint. Teule darted quickly, catching sight of a brownish blob in the distance with a dead gazelle near it. Teule took little notice and continued trying to catch his mom.
"What's going, Ta?"
"I think..Mwali's hurt."

((I don't have an SoA yet, and in the main thread it said people could rp as a bird or non-predatory animal if they didn't have one yet, so here it goes.))
Topas blinked about wearily, he had heard noises around his tree. He looked around steadily searching the Pridelands for the source of the noise, then he saw it. Two young creatures, a lion and a wild dog, had made a kill. He clacked his beak happily, he hadn't been able to search for food because of the rain. Quickly Topas glanced through a few of the branches to get a better judge of the weather, then he spread his wings slowly hopping from branch to branch built up some speed and took off. His black wings halped him navigate the air till he was overtop of the lion cub and wild dog pup. The vulture looked down; they hadn't even started eating the gazelle yet. Topas flapped his wings once more as he began his decline, too where he landed a few meters away to wait for them to finish eating.

As Sukutu kept pacing back and forth, fearing what the Queen might do to him for just up and abondoning her in the middle of dragging her kill back to pride rock, his eye's caught a glimpse of white and the sight of the cheetah from before.
His pale violet eye's blinked and he trotted over half way to meet with them, his undeveloped mane billowing back against the wind before he skidded to a halt infront of them.
"Oh man....where have you guy's been???"
He asked softly, panting slightly as he moved backwards ready to run back to Mwali and Jasiri.

((Finally freeeee, where to come in at though. o.o Hrmmm ))
-Task having been completed Mufasa's trip back to the pride lands had been a quick one, running as long as his muscles would allow, and walking until they recovered enough to sprint again. By the time the pride rocks were within view he was walking again, body perked forward in excitement. He hadn't been gone for too long, so he doubted he'd have much of anything new to return to.-

Wokovu grinned boundnig happilly and licking his lips "Yea! We were so awesome! it was like ahh and we were like roar and and yea!" he bounded some more, before digging into the fresh meat, tail swashing from side to side.
The cub glanced up a the large bird tilting his head to the side "Hey, haveo, whats that?" he vaugly remembered a simmaler creature.. it had chased hima round in the desert.

Haveo looked up following Wokovu's sight. He peered at the creature for a moment before blinking quite a few times. "That's a vulture. They eat other creature's kills." He turned back to the gazelle ripping open the stomach eating the flash ignoring its contents.
((I have school so I can't respond ASAP...stupid school...stupid homework))
